Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys Chapter 1418 - 484: Clash Once More (Part 2)

Previously on Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys...
Rein's "Steel Forest" attack was initially absorbed by Gazrian's "Absolute Ice Seal," but Rein discerned a weakness in the defense. As Rein continued to apply pressure, the ice seal began to crack, while the black-robed maiden, Hela, shielded her witch array from an artillery barrage. Disturbed by Rein's rapid progress against Gazrian, Hela decided to intervene directly in the battle.

Ultimately, the Nether Sea Domain was merely a manifestation of one of her avatars. Between the violent energy clashes of Lord Rein and Gazrian, a space resembling a vacuum had been carved out within the domain.

The rainfall had ceased.

Even the overhead canopy of dark clouds had thinned to the point of being nearly see-through.

Most importantly, the moment she materialized, Lord Rein’s hand—shining with a fierce dark silver radiance—slammed into the earth once more.

This was Lord Rein unleashing the seventh Dawn Killing Move, known as "Steel Forest."

Furthermore, the faint spatial tremor caused by the arrival of Nether Sea Goddess Hela had instantly tipped off Lord Rein; consequently, his dark silver metallic ripples expanded to cover the entire area this time.

Everything within a radius of hundreds of meters was trapped.

"This..." The black-robed girl gasped, her expression a mix of alarm and fury!

She rapidly summoned a Black Water Vortex Shield and immediately propelled herself into the sky.

This abrupt offensive also crushed Nether Sea Goddess Hela’s hopes of a stealthy approach before she could even begin.

"Roar!!!"

Having just liberated himself from the ice, Gazrian was forced to endure Lord Rein’s seventh consecutive wave of attacks. This strike fell upon the already enfeebled Gazrian, compounding his agony.

After all, even an Ancient Giant Beast at the Demigod Level, whose power has been severely drained by a long period of sealing, cannot easily withstand seven of Lord Rein’s Dawn Killing Moves—which inflict true damage. He was now teetering on the edge of a critical state.

"No, I cannot let Gazrian perish."

While evading Lord Rein’s assault, Nether Sea Goddess Hela watched the staggering Gazrian with growing concern.

Gazrian served as the King of the Magic-tailed Three-headed Sea Dragons. Her original plan involved subjugating him to locate and dominate all the other sealed tribes of Three-headed Sea Dragons.

Success in this endeavor would significantly accelerate her own resurrection process.

However, if Gazrian were to die, that plan would obviously fall apart...

"Ancient Black Water Soul!"

Without a moment's pause, Nether Sea Goddess Hela opened her lips slightly and lifted her slender hand. Suddenly, several rapidly rotating black water vortexes manifested before her.

Unlike the "Black Water Soul" she had utilized within the Dragon Valley Secret Realm, Hela was now casting the full-strength, perfected version—the "Ancient Black Water Soul"—empowered by the Nether Sea Domain.

Not only did they far exceed five in number, but each black vortex contained more than just a single trapped soul.

With a quick look, Lord Rein noted that every black vortex seemed to hold multiple pale faces of suffering, all screaming and weeping in pain.

Then, Hela pointed a finger gracefully toward Lord Rein!

Instantly, dozens of these black water vortexes hurtled toward him.

Sensing the tremendous power and the sheer volume of the approaching vortexes, Lord Rein’s facial expression shifted abruptly.

"If I persist in attacking Gazrian right now, there is a very high chance I will kill him."

"The issue is, if I focus the majority of the Dawn Killing Move's energy on Gazrian, I might not be able to survive this blow from the Nether Sea Goddess Hela."

Deciding instantly, Lord Rein chose to abandon his chance to finish off Gazrian for the time being. Instead, he redirected the bulk of the power from the eighth wave of the "Steel Forest" Dawn Killing Move toward Nether Sea Goddess Hela.

In a flash, the dozens of black water vortexes crashed into a thicket of jagged metal spikes!

"Sizzle! Sizzle!"

The black water comprising the vortexes possessed intense corrosive properties, while the metal forest relied on its overwhelming numbers. The black water acted like aqua regia, steadily dissolving and melting the metallic structures, yet the metal forest continued to sprout and grow from the ground below.

For a brief period, the two clashing energies fought a fierce battle.

Under normal circumstances, the souls imprisoned within the black water vortexes would strike the foe the moment the vortex shattered.

However, because of the true damage inherent in Lord Rein’s Witchcraft Killing Move, these pale spirits were mowed down like wheat the moment they appeared, vanishing into nothingness...

"Hmm?"

Hela was surprised that Lord Rein could match her strike so evenly.

It should be noted that the strength of this Ancient Black Water Soul was many times greater than the version she had used in the Dragon Valley Secret Realm.

Back then, her avatar had been heavily compromised by injuries.

"Then let us try once more. I refuse to believe you can endure a second time!"

Her face contorted with rage, Hela’s lips moved as she began chanting and casting again.

Because the energy of the Nether Sea Domain was being heavily pulled toward this specific spot, the energy levels in other sectors naturally plummeted.

In various locations, the rainfall began to visibly taper off.

Even the clouds in the firmament grew thinner and started to fade away...

This indicated that a clear point of vulnerability had manifested within the Nether Sea Domain.

Hela was well aware of this problem.

The reality was, however, that she had to deal with Lord Rein immediately. If she didn't, and her opponent killed Gazrian, all her meticulous planning would be for nothing.

....

Within the curtain of rain.

"Eh? Is the strength of the Nether Sea Domain failing?"

The "Red Queen" Menia, seated atop the Red Dragon Tasa, widened her lovely eyes in clear amazement at the shifting situation.

She couldn't immediately grasp why this was happening.

A moment later, she signaled her dragon companion, and the two of them surged upward into the sky.

"This is our chance, let's break out now!"

As a spiral of blazing light cut through the clouds ahead, Menia and the Red Dragon Tasa successfully escaped the Nether Sea Domain that had held them captive for so long.

"Roar!!!"

Tasa was so thrilled that he let out a thunderous roar toward the heavens!

...

A similar event took place for "Earth Pulse" Reginald.

However, the condition of both him and the Giant Dragon Ted was worse than Menia’s.

The Nether Sea Domain had already drained his spiritual power by at least twenty percent. Consequently, Reginald had to use every ounce of his strength to barely crawl out of the domain.

Once clear of the clouds, Reginald spotted Menia already hovering in the air, which filled him with relief.

"Princess Menia, when did you escape? Was it you who weakened the Nether Sea Domain just now?"

"Lord Reginald, it wasn't me. I simply got out a little sooner than you did," Menia replied, shaking her head.

"If it wasn't you, perhaps a powerful expert from the Federation has arrived?"

Since they were on Federal soil, Reginald assumed a Federation powerhouse had come to their aid.

"I doubt that as well," Menia countered with another shake of her head.

"Look, Lord Terrio appeared almost at the same time you did. Aside from him, I don't see any other epic-level Federation experts in the vicinity."

Following Menia’s gaze toward the earth, Reginald saw the Federation Sword Saint Terrio just emerging from the rain.

It was obvious that he, too, had only just managed to escape.

"This..." Reginald fell into deep thought.

"I suspect it is because of the 'Ice Sea Giant Demon' Gazrian. As a Demigod-level Ancient Giant Beast, if he goes all out regardless of the cost, he could likely rupture the Nether Sea Domain," Menia said, watching the swirling clouds ahead.

"Yes, that is certainly a possibility."

"By the way, Princess Menia, have you spotted Lord Rein?"

"In theory, if I could get out, he should have been able to as well." Reginald asked with curiosity, searching the area but failing to find Lord Rein.

Having traveled through Ferdinand Forest, he believed he had a good grasp of Lord Rein’s true power.

"I haven't seen him either; he might still be caught inside."

"That is bad. Lord Rein might still be trapped. Princess Menia, I believe we should combine our strength immediately to attack and shatter the domain completely."

"After all, the more time one spends inside, the more their power is drained. I fear Lord Rein might struggle even to defend himself soon."

"Agreed. However, to be safe, we should ask the Federation Sword Saint, Lord Terrio, to assist us."

"The three of us striking a weak point together should be enough to break the Nether Sea Domain." Menia nodded in agreement.

Since Lord Rein was so young and gifted, he was considered a future star of the Empire and definitely needed to be saved.

However, just as they commanded their dragons to fly down, the Nether Sea Domain suddenly began to churn violently.

It was as if a massive hand were frantically stirring the rain, clouds, and mists within the domain!

"Eh? What is happening...?"

Seeing this, Menia and Reginald looked at each other in total surprise.
