Ancestor Zhang spoke up, "To capture or eliminate Hong Tao and his companions without making a sound, the individual responsible must be a third-level expert in the Degenerate Mortal Realm at the very least. It is highly probable that this person surpasses even my own strength. Regarding which power might be behind this, what are your thoughts?"
"Is it possible the Hua family is operating in the shadows?" one person speculated. This appeared to be the most logical conclusion.
Zhang Jianyuan, however, shook his head in disagreement. "That is improbable. Despite the long-standing friction between the Hua family and our Zhang family, they wouldn't take things to such a violent extreme.
After all, the death of a high-level expert in the Degenerate Mortal Realm would trigger an absolute, blood-soaked vendetta.
Furthermore, the second-generation patriarch and his group moved at maximum speed from the moment they departed. Even if the Hua family's intelligence network was exceptionally fast, reacting and deploying their own experts would take significant time. It is physically impossible for them to have intercepted the second-generation patriarch’s group before their arrival in Jinling."
The logic of this explanation was sound. While the Hua family did indeed possess three patriarchs at the Degenerate Mortal Realm, only one among them had the capability to silently neutralize the Zhang family’s three patriarchs. Much like Ancestor Zhang himself, that specific individual in the Hua family was a figure of supreme power who would never move without serious deliberation.
"Could a powerful organization have stumbled upon a rare treasure in that region, leading to a fatal clash when the second-generation patriarch and the others happened to cross their path?" another member offered as a guess.
Zhang Jianyuan continued to shake his head. "Impossible. The site shows no evidence of a struggle. Had there been a precious treasure, the environmental impact would be obvious. Our scouts certainly would have detected such traces."
"What else could it be then? Is it possible a mysterious and influential faction is shielding the three major families of Jinling?" someone suggested, though he laughed immediately after the words left his mouth.
The idea seemed utterly far-fetched.
To everyone's surprise, Zhang Jianyuan nodded solemnly.
"I suspect exactly that. Do you recall the mysterious death of the Liu family’s son-in-law in Jinling recently? The Liu family chose not to investigate. While they may not have valued the man, they likely had other reasons for staying their hand."
Despite his reasoning, the Zhang family members remained skeptical. If the three major families in Jinling truly possessed such a formidable patron, why would they remain confined to a minor city like Jinling?
Wouldn't they have migrated to a metropolis like Tianhai to claim their share of wealth and power?
Observing the deadlock among the younger generation, Ancestor Zhang finally gave his input.
"Do not take any rash actions until we have a clear grasp of the situation. Keep in mind that while the Zhang family holds power in Tianhai, the world is full of even stronger factions. We cannot afford to be blinded by arrogance."
As the saying goes, the older one gets, the more they fear the end. This was certainly true for Ancestor Zhang.
The true lifespan of someone in the Degenerate Mortal Realm remains a mystery. Since the global awakening of spiritual energy, most of the initial practitioners to reach this stage are still living. Those who perished did so through violence or accidents, not old age.
Current knowledge confirms that those in the Return to Truth Realm can live for roughly three centuries.
In essence, Ancestor Zhang, despite being a Degenerate Mortal Realm expert, has not yet surpassed the natural lifespan of a Return to Truth Realm practitioner. Consequently, he is extremely risk-averse and avoids clashing with unknown powers.
Hearing this, Zhang Jiancheng grew distressed and shouted, "Am I supposed to just abandon my grandson? Grandpa, he is your own flesh and blood!"
The third-generation patriarch was his direct grandfather. While his own rank didn't allow him to sway Ancestor Zhang, he hoped his grandfather could use his influence.
"This..." The third-generation patriarch glanced at Ancestor Zhang with uncertainty.
Ancestor Zhang nodded slowly. "We shall dispatch another individual to Jinling to investigate and recover them. The envoy should not be overly powerful, so as to avoid provoking that mysterious faction."
"I am grateful, Grandpa," Zhang Jiancheng said, feeling relieved.
After a moment of thought, Zhang Jianyuan declared, "Zhang Hong, I am assigning this mission to you.
Given your Cultivation level, you are unlikely to be seen as a threat by that hidden power.
Furthermore, you have already interacted with the leaders of the three families in Jinling. You are the ideal choice."
"Oh?" Ancestor Zhang looked toward Zhang Hong. "Since you are familiar with the Jinling families, that is perfect. Remember: this is strictly an undercover mission. Avoid all conflict. Report back the moment you confirm whether they are truly being protected by a hidden force."
Zhang Hong’s thoughts were racing. That bastard Zhang Jianyuan was sending him to his grave.
The claim that his Cultivation level wouldn't attract attention was total garbage.
Li Chonghe’s Cultivation was weaker than his, yet he had still been wiped out by that mysterious entity.
However, with Ancestor Zhang’s decree issued, any refusal would be viewed as a death sentence anyway.
Zhang Hong was forced to accept. He vowed to himself that he would be incredibly careful in Jinling, making sure not to offend anyone, from the major families down to the smallest households.
After being handed this dangerous task, Zhang Hong didn't leave immediately, opting to prepare first.
It was almost midday when he finally departed from the Zhang residence with only two followers, maintaining a very low profile.
Meanwhile, Wang Yue had stayed in his aunt's room from 7:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. to make things right with her. He spent four full hours in bed with her and her daughter.
Had they spent those four hours in non-stop, vigorous sexual activity, Wang Yuyao would have been completely spent—even a seasoned "female warrior" would have been broken.
Naturally, Wang Yue had no intention of doing that to his aunt. The actual time spent in sexual union during those four hours was less than sixty minutes.
The majority of the time was spent in playful intimacy with the mother and daughter.
Su Jiaojiao clearly delighted in watching the physical connection between her mother and cousin. Despite her own fatigue, she insisted on participating.
She did her part by assisting Wang Yue, pleasuring her mother’s breasts and body. She was having the time of her life.
Wang Yuyao was equally ecstatic. With the combined efforts of her daughter and nephew, she reached a peak eight consecutive times.
Though her legs were trembling from the overwhelming pleasure, her Cultivation saw a massive surge. She bypassed the Ning Shen Realm, entering the Di Que Realm, and eventually reached the second level of the Tian Yuan Realm.
Wang Yue also gained much from the encounter. His vital energy grew more refined, and his Cultivation progressed. While he hadn't yet hit the summit of the ninth level of the Gui Zhen Realm, he was closing in fast.
It seemed that every time a new partner was added to his circle, his power took a massive leap forward. Unfortunately, he couldn't just keep adding people forever; eventually, he would have to rely on steady, incremental growth.
As the clock struck noon, Wang Yue finally departed from his aunt’s quarters and headed to the parking lot. He drove away from the Su Family Manor shortly after.
After a brief rest, Wang Yuyao and Su Jiaojiao also left, making their way to the main residence. It was almost time for lunch. Now that the seclusion order was over, the Su family had resumed their communal meals.
When they arrived, the food wasn't ready yet, and Su Mengyun’s group hadn't appeared. Su Mengqing had already gone back to the Adventurers Association after her morning meal.
"Why is it just you two? Where is Wang Yue?" Chen Lingwei asked, seeing that Wang Yuyao only had Su Jiaojiao with her.
"He went back to the Wang family home. He hadn't updated them on his situation yet, and we didn't want them to worry," Wang Yuyao explained.
"What on earth were you talking about with him for so long?" Chen Lingwei was curious about what could have kept them occupied all morning.
"We started by discussing his training, and then we just talked about various things to get to know him better," Wang Yuyao replied with a look of satisfaction. This wasn't just a performance; she genuinely felt she had gotten the better of her mother-in-law.
"Get to know him?" Chen Lingwei was puzzled. As his aunt, she should already know him well. Why would she need to investigate?
Chen Lingwei didn't put much stock in the mention of training either. It was typical for Wang Yuyao to try and train with him at any opportunity, even though no one had succeeded yet.
"Didn't your sister mention that Wang Yue might have some incredible talent? I just wanted to verify if it was true," Wang Yuyao said.
Chen Lingwei found this funny. Su Mengyun had made a passing comment, and Wang Yuyao had actually taken it seriously enough to conduct an "investigation" with Su Jiaojiao present.
Still, not wanting to ruin her daughter-in-law’s mood, she asked, "And what did your investigation reveal?"
"Your sister was absolutely right. Our Wang Yue possesses truly extraordinary talent," Wang Yuyao said with excitement. "I'm certain he is the key to the future prosperity of our three families."
Chen Lingwei was startled. "What kind of talent are we talking about?"
"His member is incredibly thick and long," Wang Yuyao explained, using her hands to demonstrate the size.
Chen Lingwei was stunned. Even though Wang Yue was family, he was only fifteen. The idea of her checking his size was ridiculous! But seeing the dimensions Wang Yuyao was gesturing, she burst out laughing. She assumed Wang Yuyao was just exaggerating. Such a size was unheard of for a grown man, let alone a teenager.
She said, "Alright, I understand."
Irritated by her mother-in-law’s disbelief, Wang Yuyao snapped, "You don't think I'm telling the truth?"
Chen Lingwei said with a sigh, "How can I believe that? He's only fifteen. There is no way it's that big..."
"I figured you'd say that. Luckily, I took pictures. See for yourself." Wang Yuyao said, reaching for her communication device and tapping the screen.
