Urban Seduction: Housewives Club Chapter 1969 - 298: The Filial Daughter 3

A sense of powerlessness washed over Wang Yue. Su Quan held the status of an elder; even his mother was required to refer to her as "auntie." When she labeled his father a bastard, he had no choice but to listen in silence, unable to offer any defense.
Furthermore, Wang Yue secretly concurred with her assessment, believing his father was truly unworthy of a woman like his mother.
Regardless, he was here now to change things.
With a faint grin, he remarked, "However, because of that union, she was blessed with me—the greatest son on earth. Rest easy, Auntie. Now that I am here, my mother’s future will be filled with joy and satisfaction. I intend to compensate her for those thirty wasted years and ensure she becomes the happiest mother and the most fulfilled woman alive."
Su Quan found deep solace in his declaration. She felt that Yan Er was fortunate to have such a devoted son. She didn't even view his claim of being the world's best son as boastful.
In her eyes, a fifteen-year-old youth who had already reached the Gui Zhen realm was indeed peerless based on his martial prowess alone.
Conversely, Su Jin Er and the others were frozen in shock. When Wang Yue previously claimed he would win over the women of the three major families, they had instinctively excluded Su Meng Yan, assuming his biological mother was naturally exempt from such intentions.
But his recent phrasing made them realize something was wrong. While "happiest mother" was a standard sentiment, "happiest woman" carried a different weight. Could this young flirt actually be harboring designs on his own mother...
Oblivious to the odd looks on the faces of Su Jin Er and the rest, Su Quan turned back to Wang Yue. "It appears you’ve learned of the events from thirty years ago. It is a shame I was traveling on business back then; I might have been able to talk some sense into him. Still, try not to harbor too much resentment toward your grandfather; his actions were driven by the interests of the entire family."
"I understand, Auntie," Wang Yue answered. Since those events were firmly in the past, debating blame was a fruitless endeavor.
His current priorities were elevating his Cultivation and uncovering the status of his second aunt.
Once the pleasantries concluded, Su Xiu Er inquired, "Grandma, is Aunt Yan occupied? We need to discuss something with her."
"I figured you wouldn't come to visit this old lady unless you needed something," Su Quan teased with a mock-annoyed huff.
Su Xiu Er quickly moved to embrace Su Quan, smiling brightly. "Grandma, you've got it all wrong.
In truth, my brother could have handled this alone. We only came along because we genuinely missed you.
Besides, you aren't old! If a stranger saw us together, they would surely assume you were our sister, wouldn't they, brother?"
"Absolutely. Even though I call you 'Auntie' in public, in my heart, I've always thought of you as 'Sister Quan.' I only kept it to myself because I was afraid of being reprimanded," Wang Yue added with a playful chuckle.
"What is this 'Sister Quan' nonsense? You're being far too bold; you truly do deserve a lecture!" Su Quan chided, though her heart danced with joy at their flattery.
Having never wed, her entire life's devotion had been poured into the Su family.
She had raised Su Meng Yun and Su Meng Yan herself, and she viewed Su Jin Er and Wang Yue as her own grandchildren.
As they say, the love for a second generation is even deeper; she cherished these youngsters even more than she had their parents. Consequently, she found Wang Yue’s cheeky behavior more charming than offensive.
"Fei Fei is currently in the lab; her schedule should be clear for a moment. Go ahead and speak with her," Su Quan directed. As the overseer of the entire base, her responsibilities were vast.
While she treasured these moments with the youth, her duties could not be ignored. After a few more minutes of conversation, she sent them on their way.
"You little troublemaker, your tongue is certainly silver," Su Xiu Er whispered as they walked toward the laboratory.
"'Sister Quan'... if you keep this up, will she eventually become your 'beloved sister' too?"
"I see no issue with that. Auntie is gorgeous, possesses a stunning figure, and treats me with such kindness. It’s only natural for me to feel a certain attraction," Wang Yue replied, completely unashamed.
"Why must you act like a dog in heat, wanting to bed every beautiful woman you encounter?" Su Xiu’er asked, her irritation showing.
She had accepted Wang Yue and his growing list of partners, but she didn't think his harem should grow without limit. As his sister, she felt a responsibility to curb his promiscuity.
"Is that not the nature of men? To desire all the world's beauties for themselves?" Wang Yue joked. Then, his expression grew earnest as he added, "Relax, I don't actually intend to pursue every pretty face I see. A real emotional bond must exist first. Aside from the women within our three great families, I won't be chasing many outsiders."
Hearing this, Su Jin’er recalled Wang Yue’s earlier words to Su Quan. Frowning, she asked point-blank, "Brother, be honest with me—do you have feelings for our mother?"
Choosing not to hide his intentions, Wang Yue nodded and spoke with total sincerity. "I do. Setting aside the fact that our mother is the most breathtaking woman in history and I am powerless against her charms... even if she were just an ordinary-looking woman, my feelings would remain the same."
Su Jin’er, Su Xiu’er, and Chu Mo stared at him in utter disbelief, looking at him as if he were a complete degenerate.
However, Su Jiaojiao showed a flash of understanding. She nodded and said, "If I were in his position, I would likely feel the same way."
"Jiaojiao!" Su Jin’er snapped, glaring at her. She felt that Jiaojiao was being far too lenient, and that such indulgence would only ruin Wang Yue.
"Sister, don't get upset. Listen to the logic first," Su Jiaojiao said, her tone unusually grave. "You are highly intelligent, and you just shared an intimate moment with your cousin... Surely you can grasp something as simple as this."
