Urban Seduction: Housewives Club Chapter 1961 - 290: Teasing 3

It was certain that by tomorrow morning, every individual of consequence in Jinling would be informed of her bond with Wang Yue.
Having acted out of a passionate rage for her sake, Chu Mo found herself entirely contented; the presence or absence of a formal title was irrelevant to her now.
The lingering warmth of that joy stayed with Chu Mo even as they exited the hall and made their way to the resort's parking area.
Standing by the car, she gathered her resolve and whispered to Wang Yue, "Wang Yue, I've decided not to return home this evening."
"Then where is it you wish to go?" Wang Yue inquired, maintaining his facade of the innocent Young Master he usually played around his cousins and Chu Mo.
"Oh, you silly cousin, Mo Mo is clearly saying she wants to be your bride tonight," Su Jiaojiao interjected, bluntly exposing Chu Mo’s hidden desire.
Chu Mo’s cheeks flushed a deep crimson; that was indeed her wish. Wang Yue’s earlier display of gallantry had been so captivating that it stirred a powerful wave of romance within her.
However, admitting such a thing in front of Wang Yue and her close friends was mortifying. She quickly countered, "No, that's not it. I simply want to cherish more time together. Even just sitting and talking would be enough for me."
Su Jiaojiao’s expression brightened. "In that case, we should go out for drinks. It is the perfect way to commemorate the official start of your relationship."
Despite her blunt personality, this young girl possessed a sharp mind. Having watched the interactions between her cousin and her mother, she had been searching for an opening to experiment herself, but the chance had remained elusive.
She figured that if they spent the night drinking together, something would inevitably happen between Wang Yue and Chu Mo, and she might just find a way to participate as well.
Su Xiu’er chimed in, "That sounds like an excellent plan. Sister, what do you think?"
"I agree, though standard liquor won't suffice. We must find something truly unique to drink," Su Jin’er added.
Their motivations were nearly identical. While they were genuinely pleased for their friend after Wang Yue's public declaration, Chu Mo's suggestion of spending the night with him had sparked a sudden flare of envy.
Only then did they realize that their feelings for their cousin had deepened into something more without them even noticing.
As both his relatives and Chu Mo’s companions, they harbored no malice, yet the image of their cousin and Chu Mo together all night left them feeling uneasy.
Since Jiaojiao had provided an alternative, they were quick to support it.
Internally, Chu Mo felt a trace of disappointment. She longed for private time with Wang Yue, but as a woman mindful of her social standing, she didn't feel she could protest. With a look of slight resignation, she said, "Since you all have decided, then so be it."
"It is settled. There is no need to search for alcohol; I have a supply of high-purity 'Fairy Drunkness' with me," Wang Yue declared. "As for the location, let us head to Mo Mo’s gym. There is plenty of room there should things get rowdy while we are intoxicated."
"Excellent! A large space sounds much more exciting. I intend to demonstrate a few 'Drunk Fist' techniques!" Su Jiaojiao cried out, clapping in delight.
"Very well, I shall notify the staff and coaches that the gym will remain closed for the first half of tomorrow. I'd rather not have witnesses to our drunken behavior," Chu Mo said, her smile returning. "But do try to be careful, Wang Yue. Please don't demolish my gym."
She immediately accessed her communication device and sent a message to her staff: "The gym will be closed tomorrow due to the owner's personal business."
Wang Yue then turned to Su Jin’er. "Sister, may I use your communicator? I need to inform my mother that I won't be back tonight."
"Is there a reason you aren't using your own?" Su Jin’er asked, unfastening the device from her wrist.
"It’s this girl's fault," Wang Yue replied, lightly patting Su Jiaojiao’s head. "She filled my device with all sorts of problematic software."
"Is the situation truly that dire?" Su Jiaojiao asked, startled. She had installed those programs on Wang Yue’s device thinking she could just remove them later, never considering the long-term risks.
"It is indeed serious," Wang Yue answered gravely. "Such programs strip away all privacy. Even after uninstallation, there is no guarantee that the creator hasn't left behind some hidden vulnerability."
"What can be done then?" The four young women began to understand the gravity of the issue. A single compromised device was replaceable, but the threat was insidious; one lapse in judgment could lead to disaster.
They even worried that manufacturers might have embedded such vulnerabilities into the devices from the start.
These communication devices had become as essential as the mobile phones of centuries past; living without them would be incredibly difficult.
"I intend to visit Aunt Yan tomorrow to see if she can offer a solution," Wang Yue noted.
The Su sisters looked relieved. "Of course, with Aunt Yan's help, we have nothing to fear."
Su Jiaojiao suggested enthusiastically, "Perhaps we could even ask Aunt Yan to create a superior software to block these types of threats?"
"We will discuss the details with Aunt Yan tomorrow," Wang Yue agreed. He took Su Jin’er’s device and stepped away. Because his bond with his mother was unconventional, he preferred to keep their conversation private.
After moving about ten meters away, Wang Yue used his Qi to manifest a soundproof barrier around himself before dialing his mother’s number.
"Jin’er? Do you need something from your aunt?" Su Mengyan’s voice answered almost instantly.
Wang Yue noticed a change in his mother’s voice.
Usually, Su Mengyan spoke with a cold, mechanical detachment, showing emotion only when she was alone with Wang Yue or Xin Er.
But now, under the impression she was speaking to Su Jin’er, her voice carried a trace of genuine warmth and familial concern. Though subtle, for Su Mengyan, it represented a significant transformation.
This development pleased Wang Yue greatly. While he enjoyed being the sole recipient of her affection, he knew it would be selfish to want her to remain emotionally stunted for others.
His devotion to his mother wasn't just about possession; he desired her happiness. He hoped that under his care, she would slowly reclaim her true personality.
"Mom, it's me," Wang Yue said.
"Yue Er? Why are you calling from your cousin's device?" Su Mengyan asked, her surprise evident.
"I am currently with my cousins," Wang Yue explained. "I'm calling to let you know that I won't be returning home tonight."
"Not coming home? Where are you going?" Su Mengyan questioned. "Will you even be able to sleep without your mother by your side?"
"Likely not, but it doesn't matter; I don't intend to sleep anyway," Wang Yue admitted. "I've formalized things with Chu Mo today, and I will be spending the night with her."
"Who is this Chu Mo?" Su Mengyan, who rarely concerned herself with worldly gossip, had no knowledge of the woman regarded as one of the "Twelve Beauties of Jinling."
Wang Yue proceeded to describe Chu Mo and their history, making sure to mention that Chen Xi approved of their union.
After a brief silence, Su Mengyan asked in a voice tinged with sorrow, "Son, have you grown to dislike me?"
"Never. Such a thing is impossible. In truth, I want to be with you forever, never leaving your side for even a second," Wang Yue reassured her quickly.
Then, feeling a bit mischievous, he added, "But I truly wish to know what it is like to be with someone else... Since you won't allow me to be with you in that way, I must seek the experience elsewhere."
"Then go! Be with your other woman and never return!" Su Mengyan snapped before abruptly ending the call.
Staring at the disconnected screen, Wang Yue found himself smiling. His mother had displayed genuine anger for the first time; it was a sign that her suppressed nature was returning, which was a positive omen.
He knew her demand for him not to return was merely a momentary outburst. Given her deep love for him, her temper would surely vanish by morning.
