Urban Seduction: Housewives Club Chapter 1931 - 260: The Arrogant Little Cousin 1

In contrast to the expansive Wang and Su lineages, the Chen family—despite being the most influential of the three great clans—presently consists of very few members.

Beyond Ling Xueyan and her daughter, the household includes only three others: the family's pillar, Shen Siying; Wang Yuqi, who is Chen Xi’s aunt and Wang Yue’s younger maternal cousin; and Wang Yuqi’s daughter, Chen Yao.

By the time Wang Yue’s party arrived, the five women of the Chen family were already there to receive them.

Having recently listened to his aunt’s tales regarding his maternal grandmother, Wang Yue studied Shen Siying with great interest. However, regardless of how closely he scrutinized her, she appeared to be a perfectly mundane individual.

To be clear, "ordinary" did not describe her physical appearance—the women of the three major families were all exceptional beauties; in both grace and figure, Shen Siying was easily a match for Ling Xueyan.

Rather, Wang Yue was referring to Shen Siying’s aura. Her temperament seemed no different from that of his own grandmother, Liu Ruoshi, and she appeared even less stern; she simply projected the image of a warm, gentle neighborhood auntie.

Yet, who could guess that this woman, looking like a kindly neighbor, was actually the top-ranked martial powerhouse in Jinling? As a supreme expert at the seventh level of the Gui Zhen realm, her ability to restrain her presence was truly profound.

"Yue, you’ve arrived. Did you enjoy your time at sea?" Shen Siying inquired with a gentle smile.

"Greetings, Grandma Shen," Wang Yue answered with deep respect. He continued, "The ocean was wonderful, and I happened to come across some rare treasures. My grandmother insisted I bring a few over for you."

With those words, he retrieved several containers of pre-packaged fish from his space ring and presented them to her.

"Mutated Yangtze River knifefish... It has been a very long time since I last tasted this," Shen Siying remarked, her eyes shimmering with a hint of nostalgia.

She recalled a time when her parents were still living, and her uncle would secretly bring them rare delicacies, including this specific mutated Yangtze River knifefish.

"It is merely a small token of my respect," Wang Yue said, smiling. He then turned toward Wang Yuqi, who stood nearby, and addressed her, "Younger cousin."

"Hmph!" Wang Yuqi shared a striking resemblance to her sister, Chen Yao, but instead of showing any warmth to her nephew, she merely snorted and looked away.

Already used to this temperament from his younger cousin, Wang Yue asked with a helpless smile, "Younger cousin, how have I managed to upset you this time?"

"It’s because my mother is jealous," Chen Yao chimed in. "She’s upset that you possess such a superior Cultivation method but won't share it with her, even though she's your younger cousin."

Wang Yuqi immediately snapped back at her daughter, "What rubbish! I don’t care about such things at all!"

Wang Yue sighed and shook his head inwardly. His younger cousin was the youngest of her generation, and everyone had spoiled her.

Consequently, rather than becoming soft-spoken, she had developed a haughty personality similar to Chen Ping's.

Her stubbornness was legendary. For instance, when naming her daughter, she had insisted on using the exact same character found in her sister’s name, despite countless other options.

While it was obviously a sign of the deep affection she held for her sister, she stubbornly insisted she only did it to prove she could do better than her sibling.

Thinking of Chen Ping, Wang Yue shifted his gaze to the young girl standing by his side and called out, "Hey, Chen Ku."

"I’ve told you a thousand times, my name isn’t 'Chen Ku'!" Chen Ping exploded in a fit of rage. Like a small, angry wildcat, she began swinging her arms and claws in a frantic attempt to strike Wang Yue.

Chen Yao reached out and grabbed Chen Ping by the scruff of her neck, lifting her up like a misbehaving kitten while shouting, "That’s enough, quit causing a scene!"

Chen Xi then turned to Wang Yue with a frown. "Can you please stop teasing Xiao Ping like that?"

"As you wish, my dear wife," Wang Yue replied, grinning.

Chen Xi’s cheeks flushed a bright crimson as she teased him back, "What are you saying? You really are shameless."

Chen Chen let out a laugh and added, "It’s the truth, though. Why should a young couple feel embarrassed?"

"I wasn't talking about you," Chen Xi retorted, sounding annoyed.

"Well, if you don't want him, then hand him over to me. I'd be quite happy to have him," Chen Chen said with a playful smirk.

Chen Xi was stunned—since when did her sister start making such bold jokes?

Meanwhile, Wang Yue rubbed his temples in silence; his older cousin was getting bolder by the day.

He wondered if women truly lost their wits when they fell in love.

Finally, Shen Siying shook off her wandering thoughts and said, "Let’s not stand around outside; everyone, come in and sit down."

The group of eight proceeded into the main living area.

Once Wang Yue was settled, Shen Siying took the ingredients he had provided and headed to the kitchen, intending to oversee the chef in preparing the meal.

This humble behavior was quite unexpected for someone of her stature as Jinling’s strongest expert.

The other six women chatted with Wang Yue in the lounge for a while until Chen Yao suddenly stood up. "Xiao Yue, come with me for a moment; I need to speak with you."

The two exited the room and found a quiet, private spot. Once they were alone, Chen Yao spun around, grabbed Wang Yue’s collar, and barked, "You brat! If you have such a great training technique, why aren't you sharing it with us?"

"I don't have the authority to decide that; it was all settled by the family elders," Wang Yue replied with a wry smile, long accustomed to his cousin’s rough handling.

Though Chen Yao was only eighteen, her "fearsome reputation" was well-known among the three major families.

Of all their peers, she was closest to Wang Yue, but her personality was far more dominant—she was essentially a bully. Wang Yue had spent his childhood being "tormented" by her.

Before he turned twelve, he had lost count of the times she had hit him; her attitude had only begun to soften three years ago.

Of course, she only acted this way within the family. To the outside world, she was a fierce protector of her siblings and elder sisters. Anyone who dared insult them would face Chen Yao’s fists.

Her philosophy was simple: "I am the only one allowed to bully my siblings; anyone else who touches them is asking for death!"

"What elders' arrangements? How many people are even left in the three families? Why are we still clinging to those old rules..." Chen Yao pouted, clearly annoyed.

"It can't be helped; these are the unspoken laws between the different Sects and factions," Wang Yue explained.

"Until we are powerful enough to disregard them, we have to play by the rules."

"Then you better get stronger as fast as you can," Chen Yao said. "I heard you’ve already broken through to the Guizhen realm. I’m sure it won't be long before you reach the De or Chaotuo realms. At that point, who would dare tell us what to do?"

"That’s true, but aren't you worried that if I get too strong, you won't be able to bully me anymore?" Wang Yue teased.

"No matter how much your Cultivation grows, you're still my brother; if I want to hit you, I will!" Chen Yao crossed her arms defiantly. "Believe it or not, I’ll give you a beating right now!"

"Is that so? Go ahead and try; I'm not scared!" Wang Yue challenged her, jokingly beckoning her with a finger.

"You little brat, you've certainly grown bold... Let's see how you handle this!" Chen Yao yelled as she lunged forward, wrapping her arms around Wang Yue’s waist to tackle him.

Wang Yue didn't retreat; he braced himself. As Chen Yao’s initial momentum faded, he caught her, reversed the move, and pinned her to the ground, laughing with a sense of victory. "Hehe, I'm a man now; did you really think you could push me around like the old days?"

Even though she was pinned, Chen Yao wasn't about to give up.

Seizing the moment Wang Yue let his guard down, she twisted her body, threw him off, and quickly mounted him. Looking down at him, she asked, "Do you surrender?"

"Not a chance!"

Wang Yue gave a shout, rolled over again to displace Chen Yao, and pounced on her once more.

The two siblings tumbled and wrestled on the grass.

This was exactly how they used to fight—they suppressed all their martial arts, sealing away their Qi and physical enhancements to fight in the most basic, primitive way.

One was a fifteen-year-old boy, the other an eighteen-year-old girl. Wang Yue held the advantage in raw strength, but Chen Yao had far more experience in this type of brawling.

Because of this, neither could gain the upper hand; instead, they simply rolled around until their hair and clothes were covered in grass and dirt.

When Wang Yue finally managed to pin Chen Yao down again, she suddenly let out a sharp gasp and went completely still.

It turned out that in the heat of the struggle, Wang Yue had ended up straddling her, and his hands had landed directly on her chest, with one hand firmly grasping one of her breasts.

Wang Yue was just as stunned by the accidental contact as Chen Yao
