Urban Seduction: Housewives Club Chapter 1885 - 0214: Dealing with Problems 1

After eliminating the pirate leader Black Tiger, Wang Yue learns that the gang was operating under the orders of the powerful Zhang family to traffic abducted women. Seeking to rescue the remaining captives, Wang Yue forces the survivor Hei Sha to lead them to the pirates' hidden island base. Upon arriving, they liberate thousands of women and seize the gang’s vast hoard of gold and weapons. Before departing, Wang Yue uses Yan Fangfei’s expertise to rig the underground facility with high-yield explosives as a trap for the Zhang family. Despite his earlier promise of mercy, Wang Yue executes the remaining pirate leader and prepares to head home with a newly acquired submarine and the traumatized survivors.

Between the survivors rescued from the hidden base and those found aboard the vessel, nearly one thousand five hundred women had been liberated this time.

Approximately half of these captives had witnessed the pirates slaughter their entire families, while the remaining half had been acquired by the criminals through human traffickers.

Determining the future of these women presented a major dilemma.

While those with surviving kin could eventually seek out relatives, the situation was more complex for those purchased from traffickers, as some had likely been sold into slavery by their own flesh and blood.

Consequently, the decision to stay or depart would be left entirely to the women themselves once the complications surrounding the Zhang family were settled.

Because the pirate stronghold contained a stockpile of garments, the women from the submarine who had previously been unclothed were now properly dressed.

Currently, the entire group was assembled within the submarine’s primary cabin. As Wang Yue and Su Mengqing entered, the women dropped to their knees in a collective display of gratitude for their freedom; many were unable to hold back their sobs.

“Ladies and gentlemen, please be quiet,” Wang Yue commanded, utilizing his Qi to project his voice so that it resonated clearly, instantly bringing order to the weeping crowd.

He went on, “You are safe now, though you cannot depart from this location immediately due to certain circumstances. Rest assured, however, that you possess full freedom aboard this submarine; no one will coerce you. All necessary provisions will be supplied. You will be free to go once the current issues are resolved.”

Under normal circumstances, Su Mengqing should have been the one to deliver this speech, given that Wang Yue appeared to be little more than a child.

Yet, whenever she was in Wang Yue’s company, Su Mengqing preferred to defer to his authority. Despite being the leader of the Jinling Adventurers Association, she behaved more like a devoted and compliant wife and mother.

Having endured the cruelty of pirates, these women had already braced themselves for a grim fate.

Being rescued was an unexpected blessing, and they lacked any desire to challenge Wang Yue’s directives.

While the news of their eventual release brought joy to some, it left others in a state of deep uncertainty.

“We have no home to return to; where would we even go?” a voice whispered, triggering a fresh wave of tears among many of the survivors.

“Quiet!” Wang Yue was forced to call for silence once more before continuing, “In truth, there is no specific place you must go. I am capable of arranging employment for you so you can reintegrate into society. Furthermore, I intend to utilize this submarine to establish a dedicated force to hunt pirates. I welcome anyone who wishes to join this cause.”

“Can we truly fight against pirates?” someone inquired. As ordinary women, the idea of standing against such bloodthirsty criminals seemed impossible.

“Yes, you can. Initially, we will leverage the submarine’s stealth and weaponry to target smaller pirate factions. You won't be required to engage in hand-to-hand combat; your role will involve mastering the submarine’s weapon systems, which is a manageable task,” Wang Yue clarified.

This plan was not a fleeting thought but a calculated strategy. He found the pirates' depravity revolting, and he viewed their eradication as a service to the world.

Additionally, he required a front to draw attention away from himself. By making the Zhang family focus on this mysterious new faction, he would gain the necessary time to cultivate his own strength.

Furthermore, if any were willing to remain, he considered training them as potential partners for Dual Cultivation—an urgent necessity now that he had drawn the ire of the Tianhai Zhang family.

In the outside world, he would never risk practicing Cultivation with strangers, as their loyalty could not be verified. A single betrayal could expose his secrets to dominant powers or even provoke the sacred lands of the martial world.

The isolation of a submarine changed the dynamic entirely. Even if a woman sought to betray him after practicing Dual Cultivation, she would have no means of contacting the outside.

Naturally, this would require her full consent. Despite his need for power, he refused to use force; otherwise, he would be no better than the pirates he hunted.

The hatred these women felt for the pirates was undeniable—particularly those who had lost every family member. They desired nothing more than to see every pirate wiped from the earth.

Even so, the transition from being helpless victims to becoming warriors was a daunting prospect that many could not yet grasp.

After a tense silence, a woman finally stepped forward, declaring, “I want to join!”

She looked to be roughly thirty-five or thirty-six years old. Among the fifteen hundred women, she was one of the eldest and arguably the most striking in terms of beauty.

However, despite her refined features and elegant figure, she radiated a chilling aura of pure animosity.

“Miss, what is your name?” Wang Yue asked, studying her closely. He was struck by how the weight of hatred could transform an ordinary woman into such a formidable presence.

“My name is Zhuang Wenxian. I was once a simple housewife. We weren't rich, but we were happy. Those cursed pirates took everything!” she spat, her teeth clenched in rage.

“They robbed us of our lives and murdered my parents, my in-laws, and my husband. Only my daughter and I survived. I can only imagine what horrors they had planned next. Since you saved us and took revenge on those monsters, my life is yours. Command me as you wish; I will follow you to destroy the pirates and save others from the misery I have suffered!”

Wang Yue nodded, feeling satisfied. While most people break under such trauma, a rare few are forged into something new. Zhuang Wenxian was clearly one of those exceptional individuals—a true talent.
