Wang Yue and Li Yingying shared an intimate, heated encounter on a bus ride that left the young woman overwhelmed with embarrassment. After seeing her home, Wang Yue returned to the family manor to discuss his future with Liu Xinru, expressing a desire to attend high school to further his cultivation through ordinary life experiences. While Liu Xinru agreed to support his plan, the meeting quickly turned into a carnal affair involving her and her two daughters. Upon returning to his own home later that night, Wang Yue was surprised to find the lights on, leading him to believe a certain someone had arrived early to see him.

At that moment, the dining table was indeed stacked with dishes, but it wasn't Li Menglan sitting there. Instead, two other girls occupied the seats.

One of these young women was his biological sister, and the other was also his biological sister.

Despite their shared bloodline, they weren't identical; one was his twin, while the other was his half-sister.

As Wang Yue stepped inside, the two girls reacted in completely different ways.

Wang Yaru exclaimed with delight, "Brother, you’re back!"

In contrast, Wang Xiner grumbled, "Why did you come so late? The food has already cooled down."

"Why are you both here?" Wang Yue asked, feeling bewildered. It wouldn't have been a surprise if Wang Xiner had come alone, but seeing Wang Yaru there was quite peculiar. After all, with his younger sister present, the two of them couldn't exactly be intimate, could they?

"Ever since the rules at the training ground were abolished, you’ve never come to see us. I missed you so much," Wang Yaru said.

Out of all his siblings, she was the one most prone to clinging to Wang Yue and was the most reliant on him.

Wang Xiner snapped in a rough tone, "What, you don’t welcome me?"

"Of course I welcome you," Wang Yue replied, picking up the dishes from the table. "Wait a moment; I’ll go to the kitchen to reheat it."

While he worked in the kitchen, Wang Yue could still overhear the conversation between the sisters in the other room.

Wang Yaru asked, "Sister Xiner, why are you so harsh on brother? Wasn’t it you who suggested coming to see him today?"

"How can you mix things up like that? This guy came back so late—who knows where he’ve been hanging out?" Wang Xiner muttered.

"No way. Brother isn’t that kind of person," Wang Yaru immediately defended him. After a short silence, she added softly, "We should at least ask him first, right?"

"Even if we ask, we won’t get the truth. Men are all bad people," Wang Xiner stated, sounding as if she were an expert on the subject.

Wang Yue could only shake his head and give a bitter smile. Xiner must be terrified that Xiao Ru would detect the unusual tension between them, so she was acting out on purpose. However, she was overdoing it—it would only make people more suspicious.

By the time Wang Yue emerged with the hot food, the sisters had stopped their bickering. Suddenly, Wang Xiner recalled something and said, "By the way, brother, Auntie asked me to tell you that you’ll need to go out to sea in a few days to pick up some materials. You’d better start preparing in advance."

"Uncle’s wife? Why didn’t she just notify me directly?" Wang Yue asked, puzzled.

"Well, she would have to be able to contact you in the first place," Wang Xin’er answered. "Why did you turn off your communicator?"

Wang Yue suddenly remembered that while he was at school that afternoon, he had shut it off to avoid bothering anyone. Because he rarely used the device, turning it back on after class had completely slipped his mind.

"I turned it off earlier and forgot to turn it on again," Wang Yue admitted, looking slightly sheepish.

"See? Your communicator is turned off—so you must have been hanging out somewhere outside, afraid of being disturbed," Wang Xin’er said, seizing the chance to influence Wang Yaru.

Wang Yaru looked toward Wang Yue, her expression filled with confusion.

"What are you talking about?" Wang Yue said with a wry smile. "I went to school in the afternoon because I didn’t want to disturb anyone."

"School? What were you doing there?" Wang Xin’er asked, stunned.

Wang Yaru then chimed in curiously, "Brother, is school fun?"

"Not really fun, but the atmosphere there seems to be conducive to my kind of martial artist’s enlightenment," Wang Yue answered honestly.

"School actually has such an effect?" Both sisters stared at him in pure shock. For a martial artist, enlightenment was a rare occurrence—even a month of intense Cultivation might not yield a single moment of it. If a location existed that could boost those chances, its worth would be beyond measure.

Wang Yue explained his theory to them and added, "Actually, I’m not entirely sure, so I plan to go and experience it myself in a few days. If it works, my sister-in-law and I will ask Grandma to let you all go try it out too."

"Can’t we all go together?" Wang Yaru requested. She longed to be by her brother's side constantly, and going to school together seemed like the perfect opportunity.

Wang Yue shook his head. "I’m afraid not. You know how Grandma is—if we can’t prove that it’s really feasible, she won’t allow so many people to skip their responsibilities."

"Okay then," Wang Yaru sighed, her disappointment evident.

"Xiaoru, don’t be disappointed," Wang Xin’er said, trying to soothe her.

"Even if Grandma agrees, Brother and I will be going to high school, while your age and lack of formal training mean you would probably only be able to go to junior high."

"Ugh... I don’t want to talk about it," Wang Yaru pouted, tugging at Wang Yue’s sleeve. "Brother, look at her!"

"Alright, let’s wait until Grandma agrees before discussing this further," Wang Yue said, quickly shifting the topic. "Xin’er, Uncle’s wife asked me to go out to sea—what materials do we need to collect, and on what specific day?"

"She didn’t mention the exact day; she just said to wait for her notice," Wang Xin’er replied.

"As for the materials, it seems they are related to some machine that Aunt Yan is working on."

"Did she say who would be going?" Wang Yue inquired further.

"She said it’s up to you—bring anyone you want," Wang Xin’er said.

Wang Yue realized that the arrangement made by his Uncle’s wife was likely just a pretext to give them a vacation, as there was no actual peril involved.

In reality, the phrase "going out to sea" referred to traveling to the region that was the Yangtze River centuries ago.

Because the Earth's surface had expanded hundreds of times following the resurgence of spiritual Qi, the ancient Yangtze had transformed into a vast, boundless ocean.
