Urban Seduction: Housewives Club Chapter 1793 - 0122: The "Revenge" of My Aunt 2

Previously on Urban Seduction: Housewives Club...
Wang Yue lures Li Chonghe into a deadly trap, launching a masked ambush to eliminate him. Despite the vast difference in their cultivation levels, Wang Yue successfully disables Li Chonghe’s left arm with a devastating surprise strike. To prevent the seasoned expert from fleeing, Wang Yue feigns weakness and engages in a prolonged physical struggle using the Break Jade Palm technique. The ruse works, leading Li Chonghe to lower his guard before Wang Yue unleashes his true strength in a punishing blow that sends the master flying.

Having seized the advantage, Wang Yue showed no intent to be merciful. He swiftly unsheathed his long sword from his back and began a relentless pursuit of Li Chonghe.

Even though both of his strikes utilized the eighth-level ultimate technique, "Great Wild Wind," the palm strike Wang Yue delivered was slightly less potent than his preceding sword attack due to the lack of a weapon's augmentation. Regardless, the blow was powerful enough to strip Li Chonghe of his ability to continue the fight.

Upon hitting the ground, Li Chonghe tumbled across the dirt before scrambling to his feet, attempting to escape toward Jinling City.

He hadn't even managed a single step, however, before a blade descending like a bolt of lightning flashed toward his skull.

"You bastard, if you won't give me a path to live, then we'll go to hell together!" Realizing the strike was unavoidable, Li Chonghe gnashed his teeth and roared, erupting with every ounce of his true energy. It felt as though a massive bomb had detonated within him, sending violent waves of true energy surging from his frame.

Boom!!!

A thunderous explosion rang out as Li Chonghe was cleaved in two from head to toe by Wang Yue’s blade, meeting the same fate as his son.

The true energy released in his final moments of self-destruction slammed into Wang Yue simultaneously.

Damn it!

Cursing under his breath, Wang Yue frantically circulated his true energy to manifest an invisible defensive barrier while retreating at top speed.

Yet, the shockwave from the suicidal blast was too rapid for Wang Yue to fully evade. He had barely moved back a single step when the colossal force crashed into him.

Having executed the eighth-level ultimate technique, "Great Wild Wind," three times in quick succession, Wang Yue had been drained of more than half his true energy; he had poured all that remained into the barrier to withstand Li Chonghe’s final gambit.

The brutal shockwave shattered his defense and struck his body with savage intensity.

Luckily, the energy from Li Chonghe’s self-destruction was chaotic and unfocused, radiating in every direction rather than being concentrated on a single point. Had it been focused, Wang Yue would likely have been killed or, at the very least, crippled.

Even so, the momentum was more than he could handle. He was sent flying dozens of meters through the air before slamming violently onto the earth.

At that moment, Wang Yue was a world of pain. He didn't even dare to take a deep breath, terrified that the sheer agony would cause him to black out.

Losing consciousness here would be fatal; even if a passerby didn't finish him off, his involvement in Li Chonghe’s death would certainly come to light.

Fighting through the vertigo brought on by the excruciating pain, Wang Yue struggled for several moments. Finally, he managed to move his left hand to his chest to dial his aunt’s number.

"You little brat, why are you calling me so late? Don't tell me you've run out of places to stay tonight and finally thought of your aunt?" Su Mengqing’s voice carried a hint of sarcasm. It had been nearly a week since they last met, and the boy hadn't bothered to visit. Did he really expect her to always be the one to reach out?

"Auntie... I’m thirty miles south of the city. Please... come save me," Wang Yue wheezed, fighting to keep his words intelligible.

"What?" Su Mengqing gasped, her playful tone vanishing. She didn't waste time with questions, simply replying, "I’m coming right now," before cutting the call.

A mere ten minutes later, the elegant and tall figure of Su Mengqing appeared on the path bordering the thick woods.

With her current intermediate cultivation in the Tianyuan realm, her true energy was nearly twenty times denser than that of a standard warrior. While her running speed couldn't quite match a hovercar, she had already far exceeded the limits of any conventional land vehicle. Furthermore, driving out of the city at such an hour would have drawn unwanted eyes, and retrieving a car from the garage would have cost precious time.

Driven by extreme anxiety, Su Mengqing had chosen to sprint the entire distance.

Wang Yue didn't need to guide her; Su Mengqing spotted him instantly. It wasn't due to some supernatural bond, but rather the glaring sight of a massive section of forest that had been completely flattened by the combat.

This destruction was precisely why Wang Yue had lured Li Chonghe thirty miles out. Had they fought any closer, the commotion would have undoubtedly alerted the powerful warriors within Jinling City.

"Yue’er, are you alright?" Su Mengqing knelt beside him, cradling his upper body against her chest and asking with deep worry.

Having rested for ten minutes, Wang Yue felt slightly more stable. Though he lacked the strength to move much, speaking had become less of a chore.

Leaning into his aunt’s embrace and resting his head against her soft bosom, he felt a wave of relief. He managed a weak smile. "Don’t worry... I’m not dead yet."

"What happened here exactly?" Su Mengqing demanded.

"It was Li Chonghe. He was looking for trouble... I didn't think he was up to any good..." Wang Yue recounted the events to her, making no secret of his intent to eliminate the man.

Upon hearing the story, Su Mengqing felt a mix of being touched and exasperated. She scolded him irritably, "Do you take me for a fool? Do you think I’d just let a man like that get away with it? I am the president of the Jinling Adventurers Association, after all. Without hard evidence, he wouldn't have dared to touch me. You were incredibly reckless doing this for my sake."

"For you, I’d be reckless any day," Wang Yue replied with a somewhat cheesy confession of affection.

Su Mengqing was clearly affected by his words, and her demeanor softened immediately. "Just don't be so impulsive from now on, alright? You should have consulted me first. Do you have any idea how dangerous this was? Even if you were certain you could kill him, you needed a better plan. There is a power at the Degenerate Realm backing him."

Wang Yue’s heart skipped a beat. To hell with it—he had just finished off someone at the Return to Reality Realm, and now a Degenerate Realm expert was in the picture?

He grew tense, asking, "Did I just start a major problem?"

"Oh, so now you're worried?" Su Mengqing teased. "At least you were clever enough to use an untraceable device to contact him and pick a secluded location. Since he came to Jinling alone without backup, there shouldn't be any immediate issues. This man was at the Return to Reality Realm, after all. Even if people suspected one of our three major families, nobody would believe we had the strength to take him down."

"That’s a relief," Wang Yue sighed. He then asked out of curiosity, "Who is actually backing Li Chonghe?"

"It’s his father-in-law, the former president of the Tianhai Adventurers Association. He’s currently living in retirement," Su Mengqing explained.

"So the guy was just a social climber," Wang Yue remarked with disdain, though he had to silently admit some respect for the man's audacity—to be a parasite yet still be so brazenly lecherous was almost impressive.

"Stay here for a moment while I tidy up the area," Su Mengqing said, gently reclining Wang Yue back onto the ground. She paused, asking, "By the way, did you hit him with the Broken Jade Palm or any other signature techniques of the Wang family?"

"No. He only blocked three of my moves, and all of them were the eighth-level ultimate technique, 'Great Wild Wind.' None of my other strikes landed."

"That is good news." Su Mengqing walked over to Li Chonghe’s remains, retrieved an item, and then went to recover Wang Yue’s discarded sword before returning quickly.

Since no Wang family secret techniques were used on the body, there was no need to hide the corpse. In fact, leaving it for others to find would actually divert suspicion away from the prominent families of Jinling.
