The Supreme Martial King Shocking All Realms Chapter 3381 - 3376: Stupid Methods and Good Methods_1

Xingtong let out a sigh of relief, stating, "I've been waiting for you to say that. Let's move."
She had begun to view Yang Chen as her primary pillar of support; unless he voiced his intent, she lacked the courage to suggest entering herself.
With Yang Chen’s decision made, the pair lunged forward, stepping into the Cloud Bow Palace.
Although the grand entrance stood wide open, the interior remained shrouded in mystery, completely obscured from view.
Upon crossing the threshold, the surroundings underwent a jarring transformation, looking nothing like the path they had just traversed.
The palace interior proved to be a completely sealed-off realm. It was encircled by sprawling mountain ranges, with several winding paths leading outward as if they might exit to other locales. Yet, when they attempted to scan the area with their souls, the results were alarming: those paths simply looped back into more treacherous peaks.
Since the mountain chains were endless, relying on their souls to navigate a way out became an impossible endeavor.
Both Xingtong and Yang Chen stared at the sight, momentarily stunned by their discovery.
Yang Chen offered a light chuckle and inquired, "How much information do you actually possess regarding this Cloud Bow Palace?"
"I honestly don't know much either. I only stumbled upon the information by chance that this palace holds the key to helping Sky-separation Realm cultivators reach the Heavenly Fate Realm. Otherwise, I would have had no knowledge of this place at all," Xingtong replied, pouting with a hint of dissatisfaction.
Yang Chen shrugged, noting, "If that is the case, we might find ourselves in a bit of a predicament."
"Why?" Xingtong asked, her brow furrowed in confusion.
"Haven't you looked closely? There is a formation array active here!" Yang Chen remarked, his hands tucked calmly behind his back.
Xingtong retorted with disdain, "It is just a formation array. Every array has a method for being dismantled. Furthermore, do you not possess the Space-Time Law? How could a mere formation possibly be an obstacle for you?"
Yang Chen offered a wry smile. "You are correct, but you are underestimating this particular formation. If my memory serves me right, this setup is identical to one documented in ancient scrolls."
"What exactly is this formation?" Xingtong questioned.
"It is the Four-Sided Heavenly Gate Array," Yang Chen declared solemnly. "The formation possesses three distinct traits. The first is its ability to deceive. It consists of 108 minor formations, each offering four distinct exits. Any cultivator entering must identify the correct exit for every single node. A single wrong choice forces you to restart the process entirely."
Upon hearing this, Xingtong’s expression turned grave. "Are you suggesting we must successfully breach all 108 minor formations without making one mistake?"
"That is precisely the situation," Yang Chen replied slowly.
Xingtong nearly cursed aloud, "What kind of hellish formation is this? It is incredibly treacherous."
"If the opportunity to ascend to the Heavenly Fate Realm were easily attained, it certainly would have been claimed during earlier expeditions to the Forbidden Spirit Palace, and it certainly would not be our turn to reap the rewards," Yang Chen said with a faint smile.
Xingtong pressed him, "You mentioned there were two other characteristics? What would those be?"
Yang Chen answered coolly, "The remaining traits are that souls cannot penetrate the array, and my Space-Time Law is effectively suppressed here. Ordinarily, I would utilize the Space-Time Law to force an exit, but in this instance, it is of no use..."
"Your Space-Time techniques are useless as well? How shall we proceed?" Xingtong asked, her voice thick with sudden anxiety.
Yang Chen shrugged. "At this juncture, our best tactical option is for you to deploy your insects to test each exit. While the method is sound, the environment in each formation is identical. We cannot discern if the chosen path is correct or not. Despite our advantage in numbers, it will undoubtedly consume a significant amount of time."
Xingtong tapped Yang Chen on the shoulder and giggled, "Time is a luxury I can afford. Had you not brought it up, I, as the Insect Mother, would never have thought to use this strategy. I am certainly not lacking in insects at my command!"
As she finished her sentence, Xingtong prepared to unleash her swarm.
Suddenly, Yang Chen raised a hand to stop her. "Wait!"
Xingtong looked at him, confused. "What is the matter?"
Yang Chen lowered his voice, whispering, "Do not act yet. We may not need such a clumsy method after all."
Xingtong remained oblivious to the change, but her eyes soon widened as she realized the truth: a new group had entered the Cloud Bow Palace—Netherworld elites!
"Those Netherworld creatures..." Yang Chen squinted his eyes.
"It is them!" Xingtong gasped.
"You recognize them?" Yang Chen asked with intrigue.
Xingtong smirked, "Of course. You are the only one out of the loop. Every sect designates an ace team and a first-rate team; the aces exist to secure treasures for the hierarchy. These Netherworld elites are one such unit. The two Heavenly Fate Realm Ghost Kings leading them are the White Claw Ghost King and the Heavenly Bone Ghost King."
Yang Chen stroked his chin, nodding in understanding. "I see! What of that Emperor-level Netherworld King, the one in the Sky-separating Realm?"
"You have quite the keen eye to spot that Emperor-level entity so quickly," Xingtong noted.
Yang Chen gave a slight shake of his head. Xingtong had no way of knowing he had eliminated multiple Emperor-rank ghost beings already; he could distinguish their status from ordinary entities at a mere glance.
"That Sky-separating Realm Netherworld King is known as the Dominating King of Hell. It seems he, much like you, has transcended the natural limits of the Sky-separating Realm," Xingtong stated, "though I know very little of his specific combat prowess."
Yang Chen arched an eyebrow as he watched the King walking behind the other two leaders. "So that is the legendary Dominating King of Hell!"
"Wait, you know him? Oh, that is right, I recall human squads mentioning his name during our earlier encounters," Xingtong mused.
Yang Chen spoke with a relaxed demeanor, "The Dominating King of Hell is of no concern to me. Our current priority is ensuring you reach the Heavenly Fate Realm. Now, our path has manifested."
"What do you propose we do?" Xingtong asked.
"With these Netherworld beings here, your insect strategy is no longer viable. If we are caught, we have no chance of success against such a host," Yang Chen replied.
Xingtong gritted her teeth in frustration. "You are right; these people arrived at the absolute worst moment."
Yang Chen offered a reassuring smile. "Do not blame them. Even if they had stayed away, our method would have eventually drawn someone else’s attention. However, since they have arrived, we have stumbled upon an even better solution."
"What is this solution?" Xingtong asked, looking perplexed.
"We simply follow them," Yang Chen smiled. "Observe closely; they seem to be well-versed in the mechanics of this formation. They likely have a clear map of the correct path."
