The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2415 Looming disaster
Previously on The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order...
"BOOOOOOOOOOOM!"
An enormous blast ripped through the Ocean of the Blood Sun, flinging massive quantities of blood high into the air like a raging red tempest. The resulting shockwave spread out, distorting the very fabric of space. And all that came from just one assault.
The previously churning waters had transformed into a vast arena of conflict, its fierce glow extending over the whole region. The booming blasts reverberated so widely that the far-off City of Kalous even sensed the quakes under its base.
"Damn it!"
In raging anger, Kriz bellowed while glaring at the enormous demonic dragon-like creature towering in front of him.
Golden radiance enveloped his whole form, with multiple layers of godly energy boosting his protections immensely. It went further than that, since his Ancestor Power made each hit he delivered burst with destructive force, cracking space and unleashing ripples across the blood sea.
Beyond that, the life force and power absorbed from the Ocean of the Blood Sun amplified his abilities even more, pushing the Royal Blutlinie's might past his usual boundaries.
Nevertheless-
It remained insufficient.
Sky Terror proved far too formidable.
"If I could just reach the Crown Prince," Kriz snarled between gritted teeth, "this would all be over."
His piercing gaze fixed on the silhouette positioned along Sky Terror's extended neck. The Crown Prince of the Kalous Kingdom remained composed, his aura steadying the gigantic Omen Beast.
Kriz required merely one precise blow.
Should the Crown Prince perish, the soul bond would break apart. Sky Terror would forfeit its direction, its movements thrown into disarray. Though the creature might persist in battle driven by raw instinct, Kriz was confident he could handle it after that dread boost waned.
However, contemplation was a privilege he lacked.
Sky Terror parted its enormous maw.
A barrage of shadowy plasma orbs burst out, cascading onto the Royal Blutlinie like an impending doom from above.
Not distant from those fierce blasts, Mirena battled using all her strength.
Intense determination gleamed in her eyes, firm and grave. Bolstered by the Ocean of the Blood Sun, her cultivation had briefly hit the peak of the Middle Alpha-Omega Overgod Rank-still, her foe hounded her without mercy.
Orfin, the Crown Prince's female ally and a Royal Blutlinie of the Dark Blood Kingdom, opposed Mirena. A lengthy tail tipped with a sharp bone spike whipped behind her, exuding deadly menace.
Orfin's fighting prowess dominated completely.
Her strikes blended savage force and accuracy that could erode even the toughest rivals. Yet that wasn't the scariest part of her abilities.
Her Ancestor Power.
Channeling a rush of power, Orfin summoned two exact duplicates of herself, each holding about twenty-five percent of her bodily might. Effectively, Mirena contended against three adversaries simultaneously.
While the duplicates held no fatal strike potential alone, telling them apart from the true Orfin was impossible. They synchronized flawlessly, interweaving and swapping spots without effort, overwhelming Mirena with bewilderment.
Mirena's eyes flicked around wildly as the trio encircled her.
All at once, one materialized overhead.
A swift downward strike aimed at her skull with incredible velocity.
Instantly, Mirena lifted her left arm to defend as she readied a retaliation with her right. The collision hit-but her eyes bulged in surprise.
The force felt feeble.
Far too feeble.
"This isn't the real one-"
Before the idea could fully take shape, a savage strike hammered her
back.
"-ARGH!"
A cry of pain escaped Mirena as she hurtled through the sky, crimson spilling from her lips. Her frame spun wildly, joints groaning from
the impact.
Orfin lunged ahead right away to capitalize-
Yet a multitude of blood energy rays burst up between them, compelling
Orfin to stop and dodge. The strikes offered her minimal danger, yet they granted Mirena a brief moment.
A moment to steady herself.
"If not for the reinforcement from the Ocean of the Blood Sun,"
Mirena reflected darkly, clearing blood from her mouth, "that kick would've
shattered my spine."
Her hands balled into fists, and she dove back into combat.
In another spot, Satan and Hades struggled just as poorly.
Gilgark, the Crown Prince's male partner-a hulking mass of piled muscles-confronted them. His frame displayed numerous marks, not from fights, but seeming like intentional
operative alterations.
Each punch he threw launched Satan and Hades tumbling like discarded puppets.
Gilgark employed no tricks or subtlety. His fighting method relied on sheer, crushing power.
After absorbing a crushing hit to his torso, Satan just managed to steady himself. Blazing flames surged around him as he directed a furious blaze at Gilgark.
However, Gilgark barreled directly into the flames.
Turning his form into a living siege weapon, he rammed Satan during the assault, flinging the Royal Guard aside amid snapping bones.
Before Gilgark could pursue-
Hades materialized at his rear.
His talons raked down, wielding power sufficient to rend Early Alpha-Omega Overgod tissue effortlessly.
But as the talons connected, Hades stiffened.
It was like slicing into layers upon layers of tightly woven
tendons, merged into an abnormally tough substance. The Royal Guard's talons managed only a superficial cut.
Shock filled Hades' eyes, followed by a spark of realization.
"His Ancestor Power?"
Nothing else could account for it.
The odd operative marks across Gilgark's frame now clicked into place-but before Hades could ponder more, Gilgark spun with alarming quickness and slammed a devastating punch into him.
Straight into the Ocean of the Blood Sun Hades plummeted.
On the field of battle, the sole zone where the Aztorus Kingdom avoided total domination by the Kalous Kingdom's troops
lay in the confrontation between Prima Deity and ArchDeity Blutlinie. Yet even that contest held no true weight in the bigger picture.
The war's result would hinge on other fronts.
Cain understood this, but he concentrated there regardless.
Far under the waves, the Scarlet King released floods of
blood energy. Enormous red claws rose from the sea, seizing, pulverizing, and pulling Blutlinie down into the abyss.
One after another, they fell prey.
Devoured.
Every essence, every bit of life force-Cain required them all.
He'd demand it to prevent this fight from concluding in catastrophe.
