The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2412 Crown Prince of the Kalous Kingdom

Previously on The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order...
Mirena returned to the Ocean of the Blood Sun, empty-handed in her quest to slay Airi but bearing the rival's severed leg as proof of the chase's toll. Reflecting on the Blood King's unexpected strategic brilliance, she credited his guidance for the Aztorus Kingdom's resounding victory in the first major clash, slaughtering thousands of Prima Deities, dozens of ArchDeities, and two Royal Blutlinie while crippling a third. Feeding the limb to the ocean's blood humanoid, she probed its enhancement abilities, learning of their potent but limited duration and range, which fueled her excitement over its battlefield potential. Recognizing the Blood King's growing value, Mirena pledged her forces to aid in hunting Omen Beasts and supplying vitality-rich treasures to expand the ocean's power and tighten the siege on Kalous City.

"BOOM!"

The grand structure quivered intensely when a Royal Blutlinie featuring piercing eyes and flowing white hair pounded his fist down onto the table in front of him. Fractures raced over the tabletop while his immense aura burst forth, bearing down on all those present in the chamber.

Gargamesh was his name, serving as the Warmaster of the Kalous Kingdom.

Though not the mightiest among the Royal Blutlinie or the most gifted in cultivation, he stood recognized by all as the finest strategic genius the kingdom had ever seen. That fame by itself secured his role.

Over many years, his cunning plots and war tactics had enabled the Kalous Kingdom to endure against the vastly superior Aztorus Kingdom. Time after time, he transformed hopeless situations into grueling triumphs, safeguarding their frontiers with intellect instead of raw might.

However, at this point, all his meticulously crafted strategies were falling apart.

A holographic projection floated in the air ahead of him, depicting a vast red sea that throbbed and swelled at a terrifying pace.

The Ocean of the Blood Sun.

"Why is it expanding so rapidly?" Gargamesh snarled, his tone thick with barely contained anger. "In merely two months, it has grown by twenty-five percent. Continuing like this, it will hit our capital's outer defenses in under a year!"

A thick quiet descended upon the room.

As the harsh truth weighed on the gathered Royal Blutlinie, Gargamesh's gaze grew even icier. With measured intent, he directed his stare at a woman positioned at the chamber's distant side.

Airi.

"Had you held back for my command," he stated coldly, "had you confirmed the reports before charging ahead, we wouldn't face this mess. Now our forces can't protect the northern frontier and mount a solid strike on the Ocean of the Blood Sun."

Airi's hands balled into tight fists, fury and regret blazing inside her.

Her blunder had already exacted a steep toll. Rebuilding her severed arm and leg had drained almost all her wealth, and she remained well short of her full strength. The burden of her errors crushed her spirit.

Ultimately, she bowed her head wordlessly.

"Hmph."

Gargamesh huffed in contempt and looked elsewhere, ignoring her completely. He focused back on the suspended tactical display, his thoughts whirling frantically in search of some workable strategy.

Still, regardless of his scrutiny, no answer emerged.

Shifting troops from the northern front to assault the Ocean of the Blood Sun would invite the Aztorus Kingdom to seize the gap and assault the capital outright.

Yet permitting the blood sea to keep growing without restraint...

Would submerge the Kalous Kingdom in red waves before long.

"RUMBLE!"

Suddenly, the whole fortress jolted fiercely.

The unexpected quake surprised them all. Gargamesh's eyes sharpened as he and the rest hurried out, their faces stiffening instantly upon glancing skyward.

A gigantic dragon-like form hovered above.

This was an Omen Beast-and far from an ordinary one.

Its elongated neck twisted amid the clouds, its scales shining like they were crafted from godly alloy. Vast plasma wings unfurled at its back, glowing with a brilliance akin to a small star.

"A late Alpha-Omega Overgod Omen Beast!" Gargamesh yelled in astonishment. "How could a creature like this slip past our borders undetected?!"

His jaws ground together as he unleashed his aura, energy exploding fiercely around him. The remaining Royal Blutlinie mirrored him, bracing for combat.

For even the Royal Blutlinie-a pinnacle species-an Omen Beast approaching the top of the Alpha-Omega Overgod Rank spelled doom that could wipe out whole realms.

But right as the atmosphere grew dense with hostile energy, a lively, commanding voice rang out from the creature's summit.

"Hahaha! Everyone, ease up."

The strain halted abruptly.

Moments later, a figure advanced, positioned steadily on the Omen Beast's crown.

Tall and solidly built yet trim, with tousled hair and an aura of easy assurance, he bore elaborate tattoos across his form-much like Airi's, but superior in detail and force.

"Crown Prince!" Gargamesh cried out, surprise and elation surging in his words. "You've come back!"

"Naturally," the man answered with a smile. "With news of the kingdom's troubles reaching me, how could I remain absent? And I've brought company." While he talked, two additional Royal Blutlinie materialized next to him.

One consisted of a hulking figure whose physique appeared sculpted from layers of solid muscle. Scars riddled his bulk-yet these weren't wounds from fights, but exact, intentional cuts from medical enhancements.

The other featured a woman with icy, haughty eyes. A bony spear protruded from her tail's tip, her vibe keen and hunter-like.

Gargamesh's eyes grew wide as he felt their power. Thrill coursed through him.

"Friends from the Dark Blood Kingdom," the Crown Prince explained evenly. "They've arrived to support us through this ordeal."

Upon hearing that, a whirlwind of feelings churned in Airi.

The Dark Blood Kingdom.

The mightiest and most expansive kingdom across the domain. A force exceeding the Kalous Kingdom by over fivefold.

For any Royal Blutlinie, honing skills in the Dark Blood Kingdom represented an unattainable aspiration. Their assets brimmed with the domain's core vitality, and tales spoke of methods that could breach the limits of the Third Realm. Even Airi-who had attained the Middle Alpha-Omega Overgod Rank-lacked the aptitude to earn an

invitation.

The sole cause of the Crown Prince's admission stemmed from his

Ancestor's formidable Power.

A flicker of jealousy ignited in Airi's core-but she stamped it out right away.

Advancing, she dipped into a profound bow.

"Elder Brother," she uttered with deference. "I am thrilled by your arrival. With your assistance, I believe we can reverse our fortunes and ultimately

repel the Aztorus Kingdom."

The Crown Prince faced her, a profound contentment warming his chest as he observed her in obeisance.

"Of course," he replied steadily. "Starting now-everything will

change."
