The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2407 We cannot truly trust anyone

Mirena at last gave a nod. Following a short calculation, she stated a figure.
"Four thousand Prima Deities and forty-nine Arch Deities are what we can offer you."
Cain's incarnation stayed utterly impassive, showing no hint on the outside. But inside his core, a fierce blaze of longing and thrill raged. This huge batch of offerings promised a vast supply of Ancestor Drops—sufficient to propel him hugely ahead in forging his fresh form.
Yet Mirena had more to say.
Her tone turned icy, laced with a frosty command that made the atmosphere feel like it was turning solid.
"Listen carefully," she declared. "These offerings bring duties. Should you fail to display sufficient might in the upcoming fights, we'll require compensation."
Cain gazed at the lady briefly before offering a grave bow. Paradise demanded utmost caution from him. Indeed, she had just provided him with tributes matching almost a fourth of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance's fighters, treating them like mere refuse.
"In the coming conflicts, I'll unleash my complete strength," Cain answered steadily. "Countless fighters from the Kalous Kingdom will fall to me. No need for concern on that front."
Mirena inclined her head, appearing content. With a flick of her wrist, she launched a medallion toward the blood figure.
"This medallion enables our communication," she explained. "Free from any eavesdroppers."
Her voice then shifted to a graver pitch.
"Our reports indicate the Kalous Kingdom will strike at you in two months. The methods will reach you next week. The prisoners and our troops will come within a month."
Finishing up, Mirena pressed her palms together and nodded again. "Farewell for now, Blood King."
Cain mirrored the gesture.
"Farewell for now."
With a fierce thrust into the void, Mirena tore open space. Her form sped away into the horizon at astonishing velocity, trailing only waves of distortion. As soon as she departed, the blood figure dissolved, merging once more into the Ocean of the Blood Sun.
"Creator, that woman radiates peril," Satan warned.
"I feel it too," Hades chimed in. "My gut says partnering with them spells trouble for us."
The pair of Royal Guards linked minds with Cain telepathically. In reply, Cain's chuckle resounded in their thoughts.
"Hahaha... Naturally, it won't go smoothly for us," Cain stated evenly. "The Kalous Kingdom. The Aztorus Kingdom. True trust eludes us all. We're on our own."
His statement rang cold, delivered like an irrefutable fact.
"The Aztorus Kingdom plans to wield us against the Kalous Kingdom, ignoring our well-being," Cain went on. "And when our value fades, they'll likely attempt to slay or bind me."
The Royal Guards' gazes hardened.
"Why form this pact then?" Satan inquired.
"We require it," Cain shot back promptly. "And if I maneuver wisely, we'll claim a grand victory."
A chilling excitement coursed through Cain's essence as a scheme swiftly formed in his thoughts. Power formed the cornerstone of that scheme. Without delay, Cain dispatched Satan and Hades to pursue prey while he devoted himself wholly to advancing his emerging body.
True to Mirena's words, a colossal Blutlinie materialized over the Ocean of the Blood Sun after seven days. Jagged protrusions covered his frame, exuding savage might. Towering in size, his aura marked him as an Arch Deity, serving as a herald.
"Korin is my name," the Blutlinie proclaimed. "Lady Mirena sends me. These are the agreed-upon techniques."
He produced a dark container. At once, an unseen pull yanked it into the crimson sea.
"Convey my gratitude to your lady," Cain's voice boomed icily. "Depart now!"
The Arch Deity bowed swiftly and blinked away in a burst of radiance. The Ocean of the Blood Sun's notoriety from myriad fatalities made Korin eager to flee without lingering.
The envoy meant nothing to Cain. His focus plunged into the container.
Inside waited a full archive.
Cain's inner thrill intensified by the second. The Aztorus Kingdom's soul lore proved immense, delving into Third Realm summits far beyond his anticipations.
Turning to the velocity-focused body enhancement arts, his astonishment swelled further. Certain methods, mastered to perfection, promised velocities so horrifying that even peak Third Realm experts could scarcely track the motions visually.
"They surely conceal superior arts in their private vaults," Cain murmured. "Maybe even ones to shatter Third Realm boundaries."
A wave of avarice and yearning washed over him, but Cain kept his mind clear of their sway. Soon, his thoughts sharpened, honing in on his strategy.
"Pairing this soul wisdom with my abilities, success seems within reach," Cain pondered. "But I'll need their faith in me."
Earning Royal Blutlinie confidence proved arduous. They distrusted even kin. Yet a way existed always.
After brief reflection, Cain called forth the medallion and projected his awareness within.
"Yes?" Mirena's voice rang out at once. "Do the techniques meet your needs?"
"They're flawless," Cain responded politely. "I reach out about something else. I've devised a plan for our initial encounter with the Kalous Kingdom's troops."
A subtle hint of curiosity laced his words.
"I think you'll deem it quite compelling."
A hush descended.
Then Mirena spoke again.
"Speak."
If Cain possessed features, they'd now twist into a fiend's grin, ensnaring prey in his web.
