The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2402 Satan

Previously on The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order...
Cain explored the evolving nature of Omens, using the Omen of the Blood Sun to refine captured Blutlinie bodies and extract their Ancestor Drops, purifying them to nurture three cocoons within his oceanic form and forge a superior Blutlinie foundation. He commanded his Blood Ocean creature to devour surrounding life forms, accelerating the cocoons' growth over three months while anticipating reinforcements from the Kalous Kingdom. A vast army of Peak Prima and Arch-Deities arrived, led by a formidable Royal Blutlinie wielding ice energy from his Ancestor Eye, who launched a devastating assault that froze and shattered portions of the Blood Ocean, inflicting severe pain on Cain.

A broad, savage grin spread across the Royal Blutlinie's face while he kept swinging his bone sword, unleashing huge waves of ice that swept over the ocean's surface and wrecked vast areas of it. Kameron was his name, belonging to the Royal Family of the Kalous Kingdom.

His position carried tremendous weight on its own. Paired with his Alpha-Omega Overgod cultivation base, Kameron enjoyed a lofty rank in the kingdom. Regrettably, over half a dozen other Royal Blutlinie outranked him in strength and authority. Without some stroke of fortune, ascending to the kingdom's summit seemed impossible for him.

This very fact had ignited his thrill upon hearing about the transformations around the Ocean of the Blood Sun.

It stood out as a special spot, infused with potent Omens at its core, and now it harbored a will ripe for capture and domination.

"Should I manage to seize this domain," Kameron mused inwardly, his pulse racing with greed, "my influence and status in the kingdom would soar dramatically. I could even claim the role of the next Crown Prince."

Excitement and craving flared in Kameron's gaze as he pressed on with his sword strikes. His aim remained straightforward: to wound the force ruling the Ocean of the Blood Sun until it yielded and served as his servant.

But right when visions of supremacy started to flourish in Kameron's thoughts, a piercing snap resounded over the expansive blood sea.

"Could that be an... egg?"

The idea barely took shape before Kameron's eyes bulged wide. A colossal beast burst forth from the Ocean of the Blood Sun akin to a fiery meteor. Within moments, it rocketed to the loftiest

heights of the heavens. Its gigantic frame eclipsed the sunlight while it stared down at the Royal Blutlinie's assembled troops with raw, unrelenting murderous aura.

The creature's form echoed a dragon's, clad in crimson scales and borne by four shadowy, bat-shaped wings. Horns jutted from where eyes should be, and a radiant star hovered over its head, shining like dawn's first light.

Even though the Blutlinie Race dominated as Paradise's mightiest and sole sentient species, perched atop the hierarchy of predators, the beings dwelling in Paradise wielded horrifying might. Certain ones could swallow Alpha-Omega Overgods in a single gulp.

This dragon undoubtedly ranked among those terrors.

A shiver ran through the Prima Deities under the beast's aura. The Arch-Deities struggled similarly, their faces ashen and strained. Kameron wore a grave look, though his gaze held no trace of dread or doubt. He trusted in his ability to face such a foe.

Or so he thought—until the following instant. The Power of Chaos and The Flow rippled over the Ocean of the Blood Sun, linking the ocean's vast energy and life force straight to the towering dragon overhead. Its shape ballooned with might, its aura pressing down harder. "Satan, kill them all!"

The command reverberated throughout the Ocean of the Blood Sun. The enormous dragon bellowed in fury and malice, parting its jaws to spew a storm of fireballs. The heavens filled entirely as the projectiles plummeted onto the Blutlinie forces.

In defiance, Kameron bellowed back, brandishing his bone sword to unleash a rush of ice power against the onslaught. He blocked plenty of the fireballs, encasing them in frost mid-flight until they crumbled. Even so, a few broke past the barrier and slammed into the ranks underneath,

smashing into countless Blutlinie and hurling their burning figures into the crimson depths.

"Damn it!"

Fury exploded from Kameron in a roar. Losing troops on this unauthorized venture was a risk he couldn't stomach, particularly with the Kalous Kingdom already locked in conflict. But he had no moment to lament the casualties.

Like a plummeting comet, Satan dove from above, hurtling directly at the Royal Blutlinie.

"Hmph!"

A scornful snarl twisted Kameron's features in anger as he surged ahead, confronting the dragon outright. Sword lifted high, he countered the incoming talon. Though humanoid in shape, a Royal Blutlinie's raw physical prowess matched Primordials'. The talon and blade met in a thunderous burst of flame and frost that engulfed the air.

The clashing forces spiraled into chaos, building to a frenzy until Satan and Kameron were hurled away in opposing paths. Still, neither yielded ground. Moments later, they charged back in, smashing together again and unleashing yet another wave of colossal

detonations.

Their clash raged with savage intensity.

However, it wasn't the sole skirmish raging on.

The remaining Blutlinie troops kept battling the blood-formed limbs and lances rising from the Ocean of the Blood Sun. Freed from Kameron's earlier containment, the blood shapes now claimed victims. Blutlinie fighters got pulled under the waves, doomed to vanish forever. Teeth gritted, Kameron watched his army get decimated. To make matters worse, he wasn't holding his own much longer.

His Ancestor Eye let him counter the ferocity of Satan's inferno. Yet the dragon's stamina and life force outstripped his. Each impact edged him further back bit

by bit.

"If this drags on, danger looms," he acknowledged.

Irritation and wrath flickered in Kameron's stare before he let out a harsh breath. Power surged from his Ancestor Eye as he slashed with the bone sword, sending a deluge of ice that briefly locked Satan in icy bonds.

"Return to the kingdom!"

The Royal Blutlinie bellowed the order while darting away from

the Ocean of the Blood Sun.

But as the shoreline approached, his eyes flew open wide. A fierce warning of peril struck him, revealing thirty-one blood arrows racing his way at astonishing velocity.

"A trap!"

Kameron grasped at once that the assault's force and pace were anything but typical. The being mastering the Ocean of the Blood Sun had lain in wait for exactly this chance.
