The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2371 The Scarlet King's new race (II)

Previously on The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order...
Anark's power surged with the Emptiness Lord's Essence, amplifying his Primordial Force of the Void to overwhelm Radagon in fierce combat, evading sealed space-time with violet portals and striking at the King's soul. Radagon, enraged and expanding his form with Root energies, launched devastating counterattacks, but Anark's relentless assaults shattered the battlefield's surface. Meanwhile, Cain dispersed the Gate of Babylon against Robuke, the Scarlet King, before ordering the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance to retreat as the Wall of Fire and Flesh began to heal, leaving the Root's warriors seething with hatred. The alliance withdrew to the void, awed by Cain's unyielding might, as he pondered ways to bolster his allies' strength.

From the instant he ascended to ArchDeity status, the Scarlet King had harbored this ambition, which surged even stronger amid the fierce conflict pitting the Imperium of Time against the Scarlet Kingdom.

Yet, in time, he set aside this dream upon grasping the sheer complexity involved in birthing an entirely new race—particularly one destined to rival the might of the Supreme Races.

Back then, such a feat had proven utterly unattainable.

But the landscape had shifted dramatically in the past hundred years.

Cain's command over cosmic laws and his prowess had soared to new heights, paralleled by his deeper insights into Genetic Coding. Above all, his Neo-Demon Body had evolved dramatically, merging into a unique fusion of Neo-Demon and Neo-Angel traits.

Each phase of that transformation, along with its underlying principles, was etched firmly in his consciousness, readily retrievable via the Absolute Life Form System.

This provided him with a solid foundation to accelerate the endeavor.

Drawing in a steady breath, Cain shut his eyes and let his mind splinter into numerous directions, ceaselessly exploring potential scenarios.

Given his present capabilities, forging a fresh race was no longer out of reach. The real challenge rested in another area. This race had to empower his fighters—boasting aptitudes and prospects that could lift ArchDeities and potentially even Alpha-Omega Overgods to greater peaks.

And achieving that proved far from straightforward.

Time after time, his concepts hit impasses. They might bolster the lesser tiers, but nothing could genuinely elevate the elite stratum of the

Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance. Regardless of his adjustments, the upper limit stayed fixed.

Following days of unyielding contemplation, Cain let out a sigh and lifted his gaze.

"Apex," he inquired steadily, "got any suggestions?"

"Hmph. Brat, you only talk to me when you need something."

The System Spirit's voice resounded in his thoughts, laced with irritation. Cain just offered a faint smile.

In reality, the bond between Cain and Apex was... intricate. Cain had suspected for ages that the Absolute Life Form System linked to the force which seized his form amid the clash with Dark Sky and the initial foray into the Heart of the Root. Since Apex knew of this, friction between them was unavoidable.

Moreover, Cain hadn't genuinely anticipated aid. Apex seldom offered straightforward guidance, opting to push Cain toward his own discoveries

instead.

But to his surprise, Apex pressed on.

"Brat, crafting a new race that boosts those in the Third Realm is no trivial feat. You obviously lack the might to outright challenge reality's laws and spawn innate Supreme Races akin to the Primordials or Depravitas. What you require is an intermediary—a catalyst for advancement that twists universal principles. Think along the lines of a Neo-Demon Core or Neo-Angel Core."

As soon as those words hit Cain's ears, his gaze ignited with fervor.

He swiftly discarded notions of innate progression.

Apex hit the mark. Cain didn't wield the sheer dominance to impose such a shift head-on. Yet, he held an instrument that could warp reality—a proven and reliable one. The Scarlet Throne.

Its might had expanded beyond measure, fueled not just by the myriad souls tethered to it, but also by the vast arrays of Scarlet Stars now saturating the domain—each pulsing with the essence of a Third Realm event.

"These Scarlet Stars link straight to my warriors," Cain

whispered, his mind whirling. "They deliver enormous boosts in psychic and spiritual forces, plus entry to the Conquest Path."

His breath grew rapid as insight dawned.

"What I must accomplish now... is to elevate it all to a higher plane."

Excitement blazed in the Scarlet King's eyes as the elusive solution at last unveiled itself after years of pursuit.

"I must integrate the Scarlet Throne's power straight into the souls and bodies of my warriors," he murmured gently. "Eliminate the intermediary completely—and unite them as one."

That held the key.

Naturally, bridging to that stage posed a whole other trial. Even so, Cain couldn't quell the rush surging within. He stood nearer to his vision than ever before.

With his aim now sharpened, the Scarlet King directed his attention to merging the Scarlet Throne's boundless spiritual energies

with the physical forms and essences of his fighters.

He sealed his eyes and plunged into profound meditation, invoking the [A.I. Chip Module] to scrutinize viability, steadiness, and enduring effects through myriad virtual trials.

Moments slipped by unnoticed.

At last, after a full week, Cain unveiled his eyes.

They shone with the radiance of revelation and triumph, bathing the throne chamber in their glow.

He lingered for a beat, then quietly conveyed the approach to Apex.

"Mmm," the System Spirit grumbled shortly after. "I guess it

might succeed. Labeling it a new race stretches things a bit, but it will surely amplify the strength of ArchDeities—and maybe even

Alpha-Omega Overgods."

"However," Apex went on, "there's a huge downside."

Cain's elation faded entirely. He recognized the issue Apex meant and

conceded its validity.

Still, they couldn't afford to chase a risk-free route, not with The Root casting its shadow.

This represented the optimal route he could forge—one poised to propel them ahead and at last breach the barriers of the World of the Root. No matter the price, retreat was off the table

now.

Wearing a solemn look, Cain directed his sight to a nearby chamber in the Scarlet Crown, positioned right beside his own.

"Come."

Within mere seconds of the order rippling across the realm, a silhouette materialized in the throne room.

He stood as a colossal figure exuding overwhelming might. A savage energy cloaked him, fiercer than a blazing star. His strength matched Cipher and the rest of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance's top titans. He could unleash Resurrección and commanded dual Alpha-Omega Overgod artifacts.

After Cain and Anark, he ranked as the mightiest champion in the Scarlet

Kingdom.

Without question, he was Leonidas.
