The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2320 Native from the Origin Island (II)

This location was a legitimate death trap. Even a single bite from the insects here could infect and jeopardize the life of an Alpha-Omega Overgod, yet a man sat fishing right before him. If such a sight didn't trigger an immediate alarm, then Bradly might as well end his own life.
The Neo-Angel didn't retreat, though he raised his guard. He was ignorant of the stranger's identity, but considering that only their faction and the Life Path group had accessed this realm in the last few billion years, the man's background was logically obvious.
"A native." Narrowing his eyes, Bradly stepped forward, catching a clearer glimpse of the man’s short, silver hair. Disregarding the man's looks, he intended only to interrogate him for information regarding the Eternity Gate.
However, the moment Bradly closed the distance to within a hundred meters, the figure vanished into thin air.
The Neo-Angel’s gaze sharpened at the disappearance. "Was it merely an illusion?"
That thought had barely formed when he felt a hand suddenly settle on his shoulder. In that same instant, the Neo-Angel lunged forward to create distance before spinning around. He raised his arm in a combat stance, his auras erupting violently.
Only then did he get a clear look at the man.
He was a strikingly handsome young man with pale skin, sharp, chiseled features, and messy hair. His eyes glowed with a vibrant violet hue, possessing an intense, otherworldly quality, yet they remained perfectly calm and composed.
A black cloak, fastened by a golden ornament, was draped over his white attire, creating a sharp visual contrast. The man's tranquil expression didn't waver even when faced with Bradly’s aggressive stance or his surging aura.
Unfazed by the Neo-Angel's power, he spoke with a stern, authoritative voice. "Who are you, and with whom did you arrive?"
Bradly’s eyes narrowed upon hearing the question. "It appears this individual is unaware of our arrival or that of the Life Path warriors."
The violet-eyed warrior watched Bradly for a moment before inquiring again. "Life Path—what is that? What is the size of their force?"
"What!?" Bradly's heart surged with hidden shock. "Did he just read my mind?"
He had encountered powers capable of sensing intent or emotions, like the Flow, which was startling enough. But for someone to read the mind of an Alpha-Omega Overgod without any connection and with such apparent ease should have been impossible. Yet, the man's next words confirmed that the impossible was indeed happening.
"Yes, your thoughts are audible to me. Now, provide an answer, or I shall extract it by force."
Bradly’s alarm intensified. He gritted his teeth immediately, locking his focus onto the present moment and forcing his mind to stop wandering to anything other than the opponent before him. A cold glint flashed in the violet-eyed man's eyes as his right fist clenched. "Very well—we shall do this the hard way."
The moment the words left his lips, the violet-eyed man disappeared, reappearing instantly in front of Bradly to strike. Though the punch lacked visible energy or special techniques, Bradly felt as if a celestial moon was crashing into him at light speed.
The Neo-Angel managed to raise his arm in defense just before the impact, but the force sent him flying. He smashed through several trees before finally slamming into a massive boulder.
On Origin Island, where toppling a single tree was more difficult than obliterating a small world, the violet-eyed man's strength was terrifyingly clear. Bradly coughed up a mouthful of blood as he tumbled from the rock, but he couldn't afford to dally; the man was already flashing toward him again.
Instantly, he let his aura explode, circulating it through his body to massively boost his combat prowess. In a place like Origin Island, where the density of the laws suppressed the range of spells and abilities, Bradly’s physical enhancement style was the ideal counter.
"ARGHHHHH!" With a roar, the Neo-Angel charged, attempting to tackle his opponent.
Unfortunately, by reading Bradly’s mind, the violet-eyed man shifted into a perfect position, evading the lunge and delivering a knee strike straight to Bradly’s chest, knocking the wind out of the Neo-Angel’s lungs.
Despite the pain, Bradly’s reinforced physique allowed him to tank the hit. He twisted his body mid-air, driving his elbow toward the man. Once again, however, the man dodged the strike and prepared a counter-attack.
The man’s fist blurred toward Bradly’s face. It connected—but by shifting at the final millisecond, Bradly took the blow on his forehead, absorbing the impact before swinging back. The violet-eyed man evaded the retaliation, but a hint of surprise touched his gaze. He realized Bradly hadn't moved by luck or instinct, but through calculated skill, as if he had anticipated the counter.
A sense of growing confidence brought a smile to Bradly’s face. "Training against that man's techniques is actually effective against this person as well."
"That man?" An inquisitive glint appeared in the violet-eyed man's eyes as he peered into Bradly's thoughts. "Is there someone in your world capable of using our specific abilities?"
Bradly shook his head, hardening his mental defenses to prevent further leaks. He surged forward, utilizing his specialized training against the Flow to combat the violet-eyed man's powers.
The struggle became more difficult for the violet-eyed warrior, but his gaze soon sharpened with resolve. A moment later, Bradly felt a fist sink deep into his gut. He was paralyzed with shock; the power behind that strike was so colossal that he feared it might tear right through him.
