The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2306 Soul aura decoded

Previously on The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order...
The manifestations of the World Matrix have left Neo-Angel Crowley agitated and his prophet’s divinations failing, while Cain has successfully integrated the cosmic rules into his own flesh. Following this breakthrough, the warriors of the Life Path launched a massive incursion into the Faraku Continent to confront the Freedom Path. Though the ensuing battle ended in a hard-won victory for the Life Path, Cain used the chaos of the front lines as a distraction for a more subtle mission. By monitoring the battlefield, he has successfully identified the hidden soul signatures of the enemy’s prophet and the Three Moons, marking them as his next targets for advancement.

Following the triumph, Cain returned to the Heart of Sin, utilizing the fortress to channel restorative energies into his damaged frame. Nearby, various other powerhouses occupied private chambers and cultivation platforms, each focused on their own recovery process.

The ArchDeities bore deep scars from the savage struggle against the Freedom Path warriors, who were empowered by the Eternal Kingdom. Cain, however, mended at a pace that far outstripped his peers. His unique recovery rate was a result of the Scarlet Throne’s boundless vitality combined with the rhythmic pulse of his Depravity Aura.

Healing, however, was not Cain’s primary concern. His mind was occupied by a much more intricate matter. Utilizing the Supercomputer Assistant, he began a meticulous analysis of the lingering soul radiation left behind by the Freedom Path’s prophet.

During the earlier conflict, the prophet had cast divination-force across the battlefield to monitor the fight from afar. Cain had commanded his Innate Ability to seize every

shred of spiritual interference, and he was now combing through the data to identify specific signatures.

His objective was straightforward. By deciphering the structural essence of the prophet’s power, he could develop a countermeasure to shield himself from future divination. With luck, he might even trace the energy back to its origin. Success would reveal the prophet’s exact coordinates, and once found, Cain could launch a lethal strike.

He would have only one shot at this. If he managed to bypass the veil and reach the prophet but failed to secure the kill, his strategy would fall apart. Once alerted, the prophet would surely retreat to a hidden sanctuary beyond his reach, leaving Cain without a second chance.

What drove him to commit his limited time in the Fourth Realm to such a task? The reason was clear to him. By neutralizing the

prophet, he would unlock a wealth of prey. Without that watchful eye monitoring his every move, Cain would be free to roam the Fourth Realm, slaughtering enemies and harvesting their power to bolster his own body and soul.

There was, however, a more vital motivation. Capturing the prophet and confining them within the Scarlet Throne would provide him with enemy intelligence—secrets he could eventually use against the Three Moons. While Cain had pledged not to challenge the Three Moons directly until the war’s end, he intended to keep that word only for the time being. Promises were fleeting, and a future clash was inevitable. Cain refused to let any being, regardless of their ancient status, dictate his destiny. He would not be used as a pawn or forced down a "best path" designed by others.

Thus, the initial phase was total concealment—severing their ability to watch him. The subsequent phase involved mastering their own techniques so that Cain could effortlessly suppress them when the final confrontation arrived. Whether they lived or died afterward was a secondary concern.

The Three Moons had not yet committed an unforgivable sin, but they were testing his patience. If they persisted in their interference, Cain would not hesitate to banish them to a scarlet prison of eternity, a place where even death was an impossible escape.

Days were spent in grueling analytical work, yet the information remained insufficient. Cain let out a soft sigh, his face briefly flickering with a rare sign of annoyance.

"The data I have is too sparse."

He closed his eyes for a moment. His intuition suggested that subsequent battles would provide the missing pieces. Only through more conflict could he refine the data, isolate the prophet’s soul signature, and erase his own visibility.

"Focusing on what I currently lack is a waste of effort. I must dedicate my time to self-improvement."

With a decisive thought, Cain activated the Wings of Chaos and reached deep into the World Matrix.

As golden threads coiled around him, Cain resumed his regimen, hardening his muscles with the fundamental laws of the cosmos. He accelerated his cultivation, understanding that true momentum is forged under intense pressure.

It wasn't long before the drums of war sounded again as the Skull Lord mobilized the forces. The True Depravita intended to squeeze every bit of utility out of Cain’s presence in the Fourth Realm, aiming to conquer as much territory as possible before his eventual

departure.

Cain embraced the renewed violence. Every battle served to advance his investigation, and every duel with a powerhouse sharpened his instincts, martial skills, and willpower.

While the brutality of combat strained both soul and body, such pressure was the catalyst for his growth.

As expected, the Prototype remained Cain’s main adversary. With

each encounter, the machine-like entity showed impressive tactical precision and adaptability. However, Cain began to notice signs of wear: the Prototype’s life force was waning, and its soul energy showed tremors of instability.

The construct was burdened by a limited operational lifespan. It was perfected for ambushes,

assassinations, and quick strikes, but it lacked the durability for a war of attrition. Since Crowley lacked any other champion capable of halting the Scarlet King, the Prototype was forced into a cycle of combat it was never meant to survive.

This pattern continued for two and a half months—a constant cycle of advances and skirmishes. Many battles ended in stalemates, with neither side gaining the upper hand, while other clashes resulted in clear wins for the Life Path.

Throughout these engagements, the Freedom Path failed to secure a

decisive victory, though they managed to avoid total ruin. Despite the intensity of the fighting, fewer than four ArchDeities were lost. This caution reflected Crowley’s tactical genius: avoiding essential losses while slowly draining the enemy’s resolve through time.

Cain felt a slight sense of frustration. Despite their many duels, he had not yet managed to destroy the Prototype. The fact that the entity’s life was fading was a minor comfort; at this rate, it wouldn't last a year. To any other cultivator, slaying an Alpha-Omega Overgod within a year would be a legendary feat, but Cain didn't have a year. He would be leaving the Fourth Realm in mere months, and he loathed leaving his prey alive. However, his persistence finally bore fruit. After endless scanning and decoding during the heat of battle, the Supercomputer Assistant finally produced the breakthrough.

A predatory, cold grin spread across Cain’s lips.

"The next time they attempt to spy on the front lines through divination, I will trace the signal back to their lair. It is unlikely they are hiding within the Freedom Path’s main base, as those defenses would disrupt their own divining. They are likely stationed somewhere out on the landmass itself."

Cain inhaled deeply, steadying his spirit. The hunt would begin soon, and he would have only one window of opportunity. When the prophet next cast their gaze upon the battlefield—when the waves of divination returned—Cain would ensure that gaze was extinguished forever.
