The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2281 Empyrean Trade District

Cain, despite his own injuries, undertook the arduous process of Tribulation Enhancement to restore his allies, including Anark and other ArchDeities and Prima Deities who fought in the Heart of the Root invasion. After a period of recuperation, he entered the Golden Hall, where he encountered representatives from two Empyrean Worlds that had abstained from the recent battle. Their attempts to assert themselves were met with Cain's overwhelming power and chilling dismissal.

Cain initiated the process with the five supreme powerhouses standing before him. A 41-Revolution Refinement surged through their physical forms and consciousness, weaving world energy into both their life force and souls.

As the final circuit of energy dissipated, Cipher, Zephirax, Arkam, Amara, and Uriel opened their eyes, wearing expressions of calm relief. Every injury sustained in their clash against the High Lords of the Root—whether it was fractured willpower, burned essence, or a mangled soul—had been fully mended. Their power returned to its zenith, feeling stable and firm for the first time in many months.

However, Cain’s work was far from over.

A period of grueling labor followed. With careful precision, he expanded the refinement process to include the ArchDeities and Prima Deities throughout the alliance.

Because he had previously bestowed a 40-Revolution Refinement upon these combatants before the Heart of the Root invasion, Cain was now required to utilize 41-colored flames for each of them. Considering their current cultivation base and status, this process would do more than just stabilize their foundations; it would significantly enhance their innate talent and potential. Consequently, every warrior was eager to undergo the procedure.

The Scarlet King did not attempt to heal the warriors of all five Empyrean Worlds at once. Instead, he proceeded with a systematic approach. After finishing a group from each world, he took three days of rest to soothe the burning exhaustion within his fractured soul before continuing.

Six weeks passed by the time the last of the divine injuries were healed.

Every Third Realm Master who participated in the Heart of the Root invasion was now fully recovered, possessing heightened talent and blazing potential. Regarding the Divine Transcendent Masters who maintained the Runic War Avatars, Cain commanded the numerous Tribulation Masters of the Everstrife Empyrean World to enter the Grand Hall and oversee their rehabilitation.

The sheer volume of people was too great for Cain to manage alone—and it wasn't necessary. The Scarlet Kingdom possessed hundreds of Prima Deity-tier experts who were fully prepared for such a task.

The upcoming conflict promised to be a long one. They could not risk losing so many gifted cultivators or allowing their cultivation progress to stall. Even if a mere fraction—perhaps one in a thousand—managed to ascend to the Prima Deity rank within the next ten years, that would result in thousands of fresh Third Realm Masters. From those ranks, hundreds of ArchDeity-level Runic War Avatars would emerge, creating a force capable of influencing even Alpha-Omega Overgod battlefields.

Such figures might determine the ultimate outcome of the war. After all, if the powerhouses hadn't managed to stall the Champions and High Lords of the Root, Cain would have failed to destroy the severed head in time. Total annihilation would have been certain.

Furthermore, this endeavor served to benefit the cultivators of Everstrife. Refinement is a craft, and mastery of a craft comes through practice. By performing this extensive work, their proficiency in Tribulation Enhancement would naturally reach new heights.

Every action Cain took was calculated for the future—bolstering the coalition, maintaining spirits, and readying the alliance for the day the barrier of rot and flame finally collapsed.

Once the last patient stood up fully restored, Cain and the supreme powerhouses of the Six Sacred Races convened once more in the massive hall. The envoys from the two Empyrean Worlds that had avoided the invasion had already retreated to their own domains following Cain’s previous ultimatum, and no others had arrived since.

“It appears they still choose to remain hidden,” Cain remarked quietly, his gaze sharpening.

The situation was frustrating. He had hoped their superiors would show themselves in person. This was particularly true for the Alpha Omega Overgod of the Godslayer Humankind—a wildcard whose true motives remained a mystery.

If they were simply cowards afraid of confronting the Root, that would be a manageable reality. However, after discovering that the ruler of the Abyssalcrown Empyrean World was merely a puppet for the Tenth Empyrean World, Cain no longer took anything at face value.

Even deceitful words would have been helpful. Utilizing the Flow and his Power of Chaos, he could have discerned the truth hidden behind their masks. Unfortunately, that chance had not been provided.

“We will take this one step at a time,” he whispered, forcing his annoyance to transition into cold focus. He turned his attention back to the five supreme powerhouses in front of him.

“Our current circumstances,” he stated, “are difficult—but they are not yet hopeless.”

A heavy silence filled the room.

“The Heart of the Root has consumed an entire Empyrean World, transforming it into the World of the Root. Due to the wall of fire, it will be years before we can stage an entry. However, that barrier is not permanent. It will eventually vanish, and the Root will have grown significantly more powerful by then.” A grim tension settled over the gathered leaders. No one disputed his claim. Half of the Champions and two-thirds of the High Lords had been forced into combat before their development was complete, which had severely hampered their strength. They would not have that advantage in the next encounter. Now, fueled by the life force of a complete Empyrean World, the forces of the Root could finish their evolution undisturbed. When the wall finally came down, the alliance would be facing foes at their full Alpha Omega Overgod capacity.

Rather than breaking their spirits, this realization only served to harden their resolve.

Cain gave a satisfied nod. Pressure was like a forge; when applied correctly, it tempered the will.

“Since the barrier prevents immediate combat, our focus must shift to self-improvement,” he went on. “Cultivation. Consolidation. Evolution. The most effective way to quicken that process is through cooperation.”

He gestured toward the massive golden structure surrounding them.

“I suggest we turn the Golden Hall into a centralized trade hub. A venue where the cultivators from all six Empyrean Worlds within the Alliance can exchange cultivation techniques, treasures, soul scriptures, and combat insights—anything that can bolster our collective strength.”

The eyes of the great powerhouses glimmered with interest. The proposal was daring, functional, and necessary. However, a primary concern was immediately raised by Amara.

“Who is going to manage this trade district?”

Despite having fought as allies, their respective worlds were far from being in total accord. Rivalry over resources and natural jealousy still existed. Without proper oversight, the exchange hub could easily descend into turmoil. An administrator was needed to keep the peace, and that role would grant significant influence over the other five Empyrean Worlds.
