In the Gold King's secluded arena, Xu Jianming challenged Qingyi to a fierce fistfight to test his worthiness for Meilin, only to be stunned by the young man's overwhelming physical prowess that sent him crashing into a pillar and forced him back further in their clash. Jianming, exhilarated by Qingyi's draconic strength bridging the gap between their realms, pressed on with unyielding resolve. Meanwhile, in a luxurious clinic, the injured Third Young Master lay unconscious in diapers, his groin irreparably damaged by Meilin's strike, as the Gold King rushed to observe the duel upon learning of it. His wife soon arrived, her rage igniting upon discovering Meilin's role in her son's plight.

"Hm... why not gold? It's your father's symbol, right?" Feiyan inquired, stepping up to Meilin from the rear and holding a lengthy, refined golden gown up to her figure.

Upon the lovely woman's bed, Khaedryss reclined, paying no mind to Meilin's picks for outfits, drifting into a tranquil sleep.

Regrettably for her, that tranquility endured just until Meilin shed the attire, flinging it toward the heap of garments encircling the slumbering dragon.

The cloth smacked against Khaedryss's face, drawing a furious snort from the gorgeous one. She rose upright, yanking the scraps away from her form.

Her mouth opened to protest, yet it sealed shut once more, her gaze staring into emptiness.

Even with its advanced urban development, the imperial capital wasn't solely composed of structures and pavement. Far from it.

Outside the densely built zones, numerous gardens and forests existed, preserved lands upheld by the imperial household.

That estate formed one of Meilin's several residences in the capital, situated squarely amid one such forest, roughly ten kilometers distant from the nearest developed region.

Typically serene and home only to minor creatures, the woods now teemed with motion at this instant.

Over three hundred dark silhouettes moved through the trees, encircling the estate.

"Split into three teams. We'll advance first, while the remaining two slip in from the rear," a commanding, resolute voice rang out.

He stood as the mightiest warrior in that group of men, merely a single stride from ascending to Ancestral Emperor.

"The lady rages, so any mistake means execution. Avoid errors."

His words resounded once more before quieting, his pace hastening onward.

He reached the grand twin doors opening to the estate's yard. As he drew near, a silhouette materialized, hovering several dozen meters over the grounds.

She was a lady of otherworldly allure, her striking blue eyes brimming with intense wrath, as her crimson lips spread apart.

"You dared to harm my child..." She snarled, stretching out her right arm. The Qi within her surged explosively, rushing like a flood into her clenched hand.

"I'll force you to rue your very existence!" The lady pulled back her limb, yet scarcely had she launched the strike.

The estate vanished from her sight in an instant, her vision overwhelmed by infinite lines of razor-sharp fangs.

The expert guiding the troops beneath could hardly grasp the events, his outstretched palm over the entrance halting midway. "Die, scum..."

A voice resounded, gentle and calm, akin to a chilly dawn wind.

Moments later, scores of fine slashes emerged across the expert's frame. He spun around right as the identical fate befell his followers, their forms diced into tiny crimson blocks.

In their midst stood solely a silver-tressed beauty, already sliding her paired blades back into their scabbards.

"Ah!"

A groan slipped from the commander's lips before his body too crumbled into neat chunks of gore-soaked meat, his soul unable to flee. Toward the estate's rear, the other two hundred warriors met a similar grim end. They had hardly advanced a pace when they stiffened,

countless minuscule darts piercing the breeze and piercing their flesh.

They lacked even the chance to withdraw as the venom from the darts activated, their gazes inverting and their bodies melting into foul ooze.

"Hm... I think I overdosed..."

A venomous stunner emerged atop the barrier, her lovely emerald eyes reflecting revulsion at the debris below.

"Damn it, you didn't even leave anything for me!" Yet another stunner materialized, bellowing in fury.

Her fiery scarlet locks framed her, and she stood poised to snap limbs and shatter dentition, her blazing Qi emanating from her curvaceous build.

She observed Qingxue and Biyue heading back to the estate yard, appearing utterly unimpressed.

"You didn't miss much, Sister Rongyan, they were quite the weaklings," Qingxue remarked, sweeping a lock of silver hair from her sharp

blue eyes.

"Ugh... you just killed them too quickly! You need to break some bones and make them scream first!" Rongyan folded her arms, remaining

irritated.

In short order, all of Qingyi's remaining spouses emerged from the estate, bewildered and intrigued.

"What happened?" Meilin showed the greatest confusion of them, her gaze lifting to Khaedryss now positioned in the yard.

"Ugh... this thing here is rotten!" Khaedryss snarled in frustration.

She ejected the woman from her jaws onto the earth, then shifted to her mortal shape, a flowing, sophisticated gown swiftly cloaking her bare skin.

At her soles, a saliva-drenched form tumbled. Her cosmetics smeared across her face, and her lengthy auburn tresses charred, rendering her nearly hairless.

"Rotten..." The lady echoed, lifting her venomous stare to Khaedryss. "Do you know who I am? Filthy beast! I am—"

Ere the lady could complete her statement, Khaedryss's lovely, slender foot pressed against her lips, muting her and grinding

several molars in her mandible.

"Rotten and noisy." Khaedryss hoisted her fist, set to end her.

"Wait! That's the third young master's mother..." Meilin murmured next to Khaedryss.

"Hm..." Khaedryss pondered briefly. "Should I kill her more

slowly, then?"

"No, you... uh..." Meilin's eyes dropped to the ground. Ultimately, she simply

nodded.

"Just be quick, we have to clean up this mess before husband returns,"

Ruxue instructed, passing the Heaven-Defying Thunder Sword to

Khaedryss.

The dragon-like beauty eyed the weapon in her grasp with oddity before huffing.

"Humans and their useless tools."

Lacking even the effort to unsheathe it, Khaedryss swung the blade.

"W-wait, n-no!"

The third young master's mother's plea cut off amid a thud

and a piercing wail.

"Wait, Khaedryss, let me have some fun too!" Rongyan cried out as Khaedryss pummeled the woman to her demise, wielding the fabled sword like a bludgeon and disregarding Ruxue's alarm.

"Hey, take the sword out of its sheath! You'll stain it!"

"Can I get rid of the body? Nyan? Linyue is very good at hiding

things!"

"I think it's better for Khaedryss to devour her," Qianyao suggested, curbing Linyue's eagerness and shutting her golden eyes. Though she was a dragon herself, she favored avoiding the savagery her kind frequently showed.

"Me? I'm not putting that disgusting thing in my mouth again!"
