The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System Chapter 463 - Demonic lair (01)

Previously on The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System...
Lucien arrived at the cabin battered and exhausted, only to find Qingyi being intimately tended to by Aeryn and Celestia. Despite his growing jealousy and confusion over the group's shifting dynamics, the golden-haired hero presented a map detailing the location of a necromancer’s lair. Rejecting a cautious approach, the party agreed to a direct, full-scale assault to rescue kidnapped innocents. The group descended upon the lair with overwhelming force, where Lucien initiated a violent massacre against the unsuspecting cultists at the entrance.

The nature of this lair was... peculiar.

Typically, such sanctuaries were nearly impossible to locate, consisting of incomparable networks of tunnels featuring hundreds of deceptive entrances.

The genuine entrance was ever-shifting. It might be in one location one week; the next, it would be moved dozens or hundreds of kilometers away, perpetually shielded by cloaking arrays.

This lair followed no such rules.

The surrounding woodlands had been cleared, and for dozens of kilometers, every village was engulfed in flames. Even the scars of recent skirmishes with local purge forces remained clearly visible.

It felt bizarre, as if they were fully aware of the impending arrival and trusted the church to prevent the empire from deploying any specialist powerful enough to wipe them out in a single breath.

The same suspicion crossed the minds of both Sapphire and Aeryn, yet they ultimately chose to remain silent.

Celestia paid little heed to such matters, and Qingyi barely seemed to take the situation seriously, while Lucien himself was too preoccupied with his own impulsiveness and jealousy to register his surroundings.

The two beauties could do nothing but trade wary looks, keeping themselves close to Qingyi.

The entrance to the hideout was modest: a simple hole in the earth topped by a mausoleum of greenish brick. The solitary access door was held by two sentries whose power was on par with a False Immortal realm cultivator.

They proved to be no obstacle for Lucien's strike. A crescent of light and golden mana erupted from his blade, slamming into the entrance with a violent bang.

Before the severed halves of the bodies could even hit the dirt or the mausoleum could begin its collapse, hundreds of magic arrays and Qi arrays were triggered simultaneously.

Everything from defensive arrays, erecting hundreds of barriers around them, to offensive arrays, with thousands of blades ascending toward the clouds, immediately locked onto them as targets.

"Oh... it appears we have a small group of intriguing mice here..."

A feminine and sultry voice resonated. From the direction where the thousands of blades had manifested, a woman emerged.

Much like the cultist previously slain by Qingyi, she possessed both a Dantian and a mana heart. Her curvaceous body ascended into the sky, driven by the dual energies.

Qingyi took one look at the woman's status screen before being overcome by a shudder.

That busty creature likely carried so many STDs that, in his previous life, she would have been categorized as a biological weapon.

It was doubtful that even his own body, which was exceptionally powerful and resistant to nearly every poison, could keep his dick from rotting off if he got anywhere near that woman's holes.

"Who are you, heretic? State your name!" Lucien barked, leveling his sword at the woman.

Other figures began to appear behind her. Dozens, then hundreds, and finally thousands, rapidly encircling the group.

"These are..." Aeryn’s eyes grew wide as she struggled to identify the creatures.

"Jiangshi, a species of undead employed by unorthodox cultivators in my homeland," Qingyi answered, observing the beings with curiosity.

Their skin was dark, and black blood seeped continuously from between rotten teeth, which were partially obscured by the talismans stuck to their foreheads.

Though he had heard many tales, he had never encountered one of these in the flesh before.

Judging by their attire, they were the soldiers who had been sent on various extermination missions—at least, the most capable among them.

Their crimson eyes were vacant, and their limbs twisted in a sickening manner. More figures manifested among them, similar to the woman but slightly less potent.

They were merely False Immortals with a few True Immortals, paling in comparison to her, who stood at the peak of the True Immortal realm.

"Oh..." The woman's gaze shifted, zeroing in on Qingyi.

Her form blurred into a streak, and in a heartbeat, she stood directly before Qingyi.

"We have a very interesting one here, tell me your—"

The woman was unable to finish her thought because Qingyi's fist tore through the air.

Agony flooded her jaw as burning blood erupted, and she was launched backward like a cannonball. A shockwave rippled out, kicking up clouds of dust.

She only managed to steady herself after flying nearly five hundred meters, her jaw dangling uselessly below her face, every bone pulverized to dust.

What on earth had just occurred? How could that bastard possess such overwhelming strength?

She only failed to grit her teeth because she was physically unable to do so.

Using a sound transmission to command her underlings to strike, her eyes blazed with fury as her demonic Qi and mana ignited.

In the heavens, the thousands of levitating blades shifted, pausing for a fraction of a second before exploding into motion. Ripping through the sky at supersonic speeds, they bore enough force to slay a False Immortal.

Individually, they were insignificant, but as a collective? They were lethally dangerous.

Sapphire invoked a barrier to shield both Celestia and Aeryn, though the protection proved unnecessary.

Qingyi stepped in front of them, the Heaven-Defying Thunder Sword slicing through the air to easily deflect the first blade.

The force of the impact caused his feet to dig into the earth, his back pressing against the barrier behind him.

He was unbothered, however, continuing to whip his sword around as thousands of blades converged on him.

Time seemed to decelerate as he parried every strike with ease, his draconic eyes calculating every trajectory.

Each rotation of his blade caused him to be swallowed by fierce shockwaves, and the ground beneath him was decimated further.

"Bastard!"

The cultist lunged at Qingyi, her shattered jaw snapping back into its proper place. A deep, horrific shriek burst from her split red lips, her mind consumed by nothing but absolute hatred.

Her fingernails lengthened, becoming as sharp as razors as she slashed toward Qingyi’s throat.

The handsome youth simply manifested black scales over his neck.

The collision of the woman's claws resulted in nothing but a shower of sparks and snapped nails, failing to leave even a mark on Qingyi.

He looked down at her with eyes full of scorn, noting the look of pure shock on the woman's face.

"You're quite stubborn for such a repulsive and irritating little maggot, aren't you?"

Without a moment's pause, Qingyi delivered a kick.

This time, he didn't send her tumbling away; he did the exact opposite.

His foot slammed into her face, and he drove her into the ground with his full power, instantly pulverizing everything beneath him into dust.
