The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System Chapter 462 - Prepare for death!

Sapphire is left in a state of shock after discovering that the legendary beast of darkness, Khaedryss, is subservient to Qingyi. While his new wives are introduced to the household, Qingyi retreats to a cultivation room to expend his massive accumulation of lust points. He endures an agonizing process of breaking and rebuilding his body to upgrade his spiritual roots, lineage, and constitution to the immortal and ancestral grades. This transformation significantly enhances his physical draconic features and strengthens his black dragon scales to a formidable new level of power.

"Argh... damn it!" A sharp grunt of frustration escaped as a blade sliced through the thick forest, painstakingly hacking a trail through the overgrown weeds.

The source of the voice was a young man possessing short golden hair and blue eyes. His cloak hung in tatters, and the silver armor beneath was shattered and stained with the foul, blackened blood of his enemies.

His chosen path had been a treacherous one, forcing him to confront hordes of monsters and endure endless skirmishes until he was literally wading knee-deep in gore.

Fortunately, the ordeal had reached its end.

He had finally arrived at his objective, and the prospect of a hot shower was now within reach.

On the horizon, the trail leading toward the cabin came into view; the moment his boots hit the path, he accelerated his stride.

Upon reaching the destination, he pushed the door open without a second thought.

A frown immediately creased his brow at the sight of Qingyi, particularly when he noticed who was sitting beside him, tenderly feeding him.

It was Aeryn, the elven beauty known for her icy demeanor. Her slender, graceful fingers held a translucent cup as she meticulously scooped out the contents, guiding the spoon toward Qingyi’s mouth.

The handsome youth simply accepted the offering, consuming the food with a calm expression.

Lucien fought to mask his displeasure, forcing his breathing to steady even as his body grew rigid with involuntary tension.

'Since when did those two become so intimate?' Lucien wondered, quickly averting his gaze.

He couldn't afford to obsess over such trivialities; a much larger crisis demanded his attention.

"Brother Qingyi." Lucien offered a bow. "I see you are... doing well." Suddenly, a scent wafted toward him, triggering a memory he thought was long buried.

'Is that... pudding?' Lucien’s eyes widened, shimmering with curiosity.

The aroma was unmistakable, and the texture of the substance on the spoon the high elf held to Qingyi’s lips looked identical, yet it seemed impossible.

He was certain that pudding did not exist in this world.

"You look well too," Qingyi remarked with clear irony, his gaze fixed on Lucien, who promptly headed toward one of the bathrooms.

"Yes, and I'll be even better after this shower," Lucien replied, shaking his head to dispel the pointless distractions.

"Once I’m out, we must begin our preparations to storm that wretched necromancer’s lair. Every moment we delay, more innocents are slaughtered."

Qingyi gave a simple nod and stood up, performing a light stretch.

His wives gathered around him shortly after. When Lucien finally emerged from the bathroom, feeling revitalized, he retrieved a massive map from his space ring and spread it across a wooden table.

The map was a rough sketch, detailing the surrounding terrain within a hundred-kilometer radius.

Their current location was a sprawling plain dominated by rivers and forests; to the north, the land rose into mountains, signifying the gateway to the realm of the dragon elves.

To the east lay the City of Light Breeze, a secluded but prosperous town famed for its spiritual wood trade.

The southwest was mostly a barren wasteland, save for a solitary marked point in the center.

"Our scouts report that this is the entrance to the necromancer’s den, or at least the primary location where the captives are taken after being seized.

It is undoubtedly riddled with traps, but it is nothing we cannot overcome. Our priority is ensuring Celestia remains guarded."

Lucien glanced at Qingyi before shifting his eyes toward Celestia.

The beauty was barely listening to Lucien's briefing, her attention entirely consumed by her husband, her eyes glowing with profound adoration.

The sight caused Lucien’s heart to sink further into his chest.

He was unaware of the truth, and frankly, the notion that she already viewed herself as Qingyi’s wife hadn't even entered his mind.

He knew Qingyi was sharp; surely someone that clever wouldn't dare claim the holy priestess of the Church of Auranys.

To do so would invite a death that was slow, agonizing, and wretched.

Lucien then looked toward Aeryn and Sapphire. While they paid more attention to his strategy than Celestia, their focus ultimately remained tethered to Qingyi.

How was he supposed to prevent jealousy from poisoning his heart?

He felt exhausted and defeated, unsure of the answer.

His only desire was to eradicate those demonic cultists as fast as possible and return to his life of Cultivation and prayer, awaiting the day he would fulfill his grand prophecy.

"And what is your strategy for the infiltration?" Qingyi inquired, granting Lucien the final word.

Regardless of personal feelings, Lucien was the de facto leader of this heroic party.

"We could launch small, incremental strikes to probe their defenses, allowing them to continue their torture and murder of countless innocents

before we finally make our move.

Or, we can march there this instant and stomp them out like the vermin they are," Lucien proclaimed.

"Hm... I find the second option much more appealing." Qingyi flashed a smile.

It was a reckless plan, certainly, but he didn't care.

He preferred the direct approach, much like crushing ants underfoot, and eventually,

even Aeryn—who usually avoided such blunt methods—found herself agreeing with the idea.

Ultimately, the group wanted the matter settled swiftly so they could depart from that cursed region forever. Furthermore, the women were eager to be alone with their husband, free from the constraints of their stifling doctrines.

The church would likely attempt to impose further orders once these tasks were finished, and their respective organizations would expect them to follow the rules.

Well, those organizations and the church were in for a disappointment. "Very well." Lucien rose, and the group began their final preparations. Blades were honed, staves were imbued with Qi, and spells were readied. Having some knowledge of the cave's interior from previous espionage allowed them a small measure of confidence.

The young hero led the way out, forcing all bitterness and envy from his mind. He acted as if Qingyi were invisible as the five heroes soared through the heavens.

As they reached the lair's entrance, he plummeted downward, deploying a massive space-blocking talisman while unsheathing his sword in a wide arc.

"We are here, heretics! Prepare to meet your end!"

Lucien’s strike connected with a thunderous boom, obliterating the first line of cultists

guarding the entrance.

The miserable wretches didn't even have a chance to scream.

The slaughter had begun.
