Thwwooosshh~
A massive pillar sized purple beam blasted forth from the glowing weapon. At this same moment, a large mettalic arm phased out of Toxer's back.
The arm drove a fist forward with incredible force, clashing with the beam.
Boom!
Upon contact, Toxer's mettalic fist completely repelled the massive beam, sending it flying back in the direction of Dildier and his men.
"Oh shit!"
Booom!
A loud explosion rang out up ahead as Dildier's men got blasted sky high, across the vicinity.
A large hole was instantly formed in the sandy terrain up ahead due to the destructive force of the blast.
This attack was all it took to lay waste to almost every single one of them. The mettalic fist protruding out of Toxer's was steaming red at this point but there didn't seem to be any issues as he stepped forward till he arrived before Dildier.
"Mix...ed blood..." Dildier coughed out blood as he stated with a weak tone.
Toxer grabbed his head with the steaming mettalic hand causing a part of Dildier's face to burn as he got lifted up.
"Ahhhhh!" Dildier cried out.
"You're their boss right? Once you die, I'll kill every single one of the people you fought to protect," Toxer stated with a bloodthirsty tone.
"You... I'll kill..." Dildier struggled to talk as he kept coughing out blood.
"Shut up and die," Toxer spat before throwing Dildier up.
Dildier's body ascended across the air and began to drop after reaching a particular height.
At this point Toxer's mettalic arm was arched to the back while his hand tightened into a fist. He swung the large mettalic fist forward, in the direction of Dildier's descending body.
He had properly calculated the timing so that his fist would smash into Dildier's face and crush his skull instantly upon impact.
Fwwwhiiii~
Toxer's forehead creased in suspicion as his metallic fist only passed through thin air without colliding with human flesh as expected.
The skull cracking sound he had been expecting wasn't delivered.
Dildier had suddenly vanished causing him to miss.
"What just happened?" Toxer questioned in confoundment as he looked around.
Everyone else was just as confused, including the natives and the rest of Dildier's gang who were conscious.
They suddenly noticed that Dildier had reappeared about fifty feet eastwards.
"How? Is this riffraff also a mixedblood?" Toxer wondered out loud but then he realised he didn't sense any bloodline energy from him.
This made the situation even more confusing.
He turned to start walking in the direction of Dildier who was standing in place and checking himself out in shock.
"I don't know how you evaded that strike earlier but I won't miss again," Toxer eyes squinted with maliciousness.
"That is enough," A strong elderly masculine tone rang out from behind him.
Toxer eyes widened in both fear and shock as he felt a hand on his left shoulder.
-"Who the hell is that old man?"
-"Did he just appear out of nowhere?"
-"I didn't see him before,"
-"Did he sneak up on the boss?"
The voices of the men in black jackets could be heard all around as they only noticed this middle aged man presence when he spoke.
'Where did this person come from? I didn't sense him until he touched me,' Toxer's mind raced as the hair on his skin rose.
Fwwhiii~
It was only after a some moments that his body instinctively reacted, causing him to leap forward.
Bam!
Toxer landed a couple feet ahead and swiftly turned around.
"Who the hell are you?" He yelled.
"I'm the man you're looking for," The newcomer responded.
"You... You're the man who witnessed the star crash?"
While Toxer was questioning him, the natives and bike group around stared at the scene with expressions of awe.
-"It's Old Man Shin,"
-"Old man Shin is here,"
-"Where was he this whole time,"
-"...At least those men have stopped attacking,"
"Old Man Shin?" Dildier muttered as he watched the middle aged looking man exchange dialogue with Toxer.
'Did he save me? That would be ridiculous. He is just an old man how could he have saved me from an attack that I am unable to save myself from,' Dildier shook his head as conflicting thoughts incessantly ran through his mind.
He couldn't understand how he was over there a second ago and now he was here. There was no explanation for that except for Old Man Shin's sudden appearance but at the same time he didn't believe It could be Old Man Shin's doing. That made even lesser sense...
but then he recalled how mysterious Old Man Shin had always been...
"I shouldn't be thinking about this right now... I must not let any harm befall the geezer..." He snapped out of his reverie and began stepping forward.
Old Man Shin up ahead stretched his hand in Dildier's direction and shook his head. He was practically trying to tell him to stay away.
"I'll take care of it everyone..." Old Man Shin's loud voice travelled across the place. Everyone still had looks of confusion but they hoped that with this announcement things will be fine.
Old Man Shin walked side by side with Toxer towards one of the hover cars and got in.
~ Few Minutes Ago ~
"Are you good now? We should head straight to the first settlement. I told your mum I'd be bringing you back before midnight and now ths day is about to break," Old Man Shin said to Bruce who was happily jogging beside him.
"I can't go back looking like this, I don't want to worry her or let her know something happened," Bruce answered while galloping ahead. He wanted to get back to the settlement and grab a change of clothes first.
"I feel so energetic like a mixedbreed stallion," He added with a joyful look.
"Remember, we've been through this already. You are not to let anyone ever know that you have another bloodline inside of you," Old Man Shin warned.
"Yes yes yes I heard you the first time Old Man Shin hehe," Bruce chuckled excitedly before leaping three meters across the air.
Old Man Shin grabbed him in mid air and pulled him back down to the ground.
"This isn't a joke," He said with a serious expression.
This was the first time Bruce had ever seen Old Man Shin look this serious so he wiped the cheeky smile off his face.
"People would want to do all sort of things to you if they ever discovered you possess a second bloodline. For the sake of your mother and yourself, don't ever reveal it until you're powerful enough to take on every single person on this planet," Old Man Shin stated.
"Yes... but Old Man Shin... how did you do it?" Bruce asked.
"Do what?" Old Man Shin questioned.
"How did you bring me back to life by giving me a new bloodline? I knew I was dead... so how...? Are you..."
"Don't ask. I only brought you back to life because of your mother. Now make sure you think twice about consequences before taking any action in the future," Old Man Shin said while letting go of Bruce's shoulder.
"Can I beat my bullies though?"
"If you're gonna do that, make sure you don't reveal your..."
"Second bloodline... Sure Sure, I get it grandpa," Bruce said while turning around and walking forward.
"Kids... this is why I might never have one," Old Man Shin shook his head.
"Is that supposed to be a bonfire or something?" Bruce's voice rang out from up ahead.
Old Man Shin stared forward and noticed Bruce pointing in a particular direction. His sight followed the direction and he noticed smoke in the distance.
"That's..." Old Man Shin swiftly sped forward and they arrived on a large sand dune.
From this height they were able to spot the settlement which had been set ablaze.
Bruce's entire mouth was agape as he stared at the burning structures.
"Stay here... I'll be back,"
The moment Bruce heard these words and turned around Old Man Shin was already gone.
"Old Man Shin?"
At this same moment, a loud explosion rang out up ahead.
~ Present Time ~
"Are you saying you'll only go back with us if we promise to leave these people alone and reimburse them for the damages?" A domineering male voice resounded within a luxurious looking hover car.
"Yes. I am the only one that possess knowledge of what you seek. If you truly wish to know what I found on that day, you will heed my demands," Old Man Shin responded to the man with long blue hair on the other end of the seat who happened to have a black cloth wrapped around his eyes.
"How dare you speak to Lord Falkorn tha..." A chubby male figure by the side was about yelling when Falkorn raised his hand.
He stopped instantly.
"What makes you think I cannot order my underlings to take you by force," Falkorn voiced with a tone of intimidation.
