SSS Awakening: Rebirth of the Strongest Vampire God Chapter 681 Don't corrupt my innocent son

"Dad… are you seriously jealous?" Damon looked at his father, his eyes wide with disbelief. Out of all the possible things to worry about, this was his concern? His father, however, was entirely earnest. He narrowed his eyes at his wife, regarding her like a rival contestant in a high-stakes PVP arena.
"Jealous?!" His father gave a loud scoff, though he instantly dropped his volume when Damon's mother glanced in their direction. "No. I am worried. Your mother is becoming… powerful. Far too powerful."
Damon sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "If it helps… I can assist you in taming some beasts later. They might be strange, but they will be strong." He had barely finished speaking when Erin, Ellora, Mallana, and Sylvara all rushed toward his father.
"My Lord's father, please wait!" Erin offered a deep bow. "If you desire to tame a beast, I shall be your companion."
Ellora moved forward without hesitation. "No. I will be the one to accompany the Lord's father. My specific skill set is better suited for his protection."
Mallana, the merwoman, had also hurried over, but she seemed to lose her confidence once she arrived, struggling to speak. "I can… also… assist," she finally managed to squeak out.
Even the Ice Queen, Sylvara, appeared uncharacteristically hesitant to speak. "I am Damon’s friend… Sylvara. I can also help you, Father."
Damon's father stood frozen, resembling a deer caught in headlights. The four women surrounded him, their eyes shimmering with absolute sincerity. "Please, allow us to assist you."
"Yes, Lord Father."
"We shall ensure you obtain only a beast of the highest quality."
"You will not suffer even a single scratch."
"I… aha ha… perhaps later…" Damon's father gave an awkward grin as he tried to excuse himself from the circle of women.
Walking over to him, Damon raised an eyebrow. "What’s wrong, Dad? I thought you wanted attention like Mom? Look, my friends are eager to help you. You can increase your levels rapidly if that’s your goal."
To his surprise, his father turned and glared at him with pure intensity. There was no gratitude or relief—only twitching, raw jealousy.
"Attention?!" he hissed, gesturing with a thumb toward the four breathtakingly beautiful women nearby. "Son, explain this to me. How did you manage it? How do you get them all to coexist? Son, how did you convince these incredible women to accept one another? Why are they allowing you to maintain a relationship like this? Be honest with me. Are every one of these women your wives, or girlfriends, or what?"
His father leaned closer, his voice nearly breaking under the pressure of curiosity, envy, and sheer emotional damage.
"Because I need to know, son! Tell me the truth. Are all of them…" He gestured dramatically toward Aurora, Kate, Lirae, Sylvara, Erin, Ellora, Mallana, and even poor Arya, who was simply minding her own business. "Are they your wives? Lovers? Devotees? Members of a Cult? What are they? How did you manage to pull this off?"
Every woman within earshot suddenly went still.
Damon choked on his own saliva. "Dad—"
"Son," his father went on with a grave expression, "I have barely survived a marriage to just one powerful woman. Only one. And half of my hair has gone white prematurely." He pointed a finger toward Damon's mother. "Your mother once pursued me with a broom for four city blocks because I forgot her birthday."
"Dad, please—"
"But you," his father continued, his voice shaking with emotion, "you have performed a miracle. Every one of these women looks at you as if you are their God!" He grabbed Damon’s arm. "Tell me how. Was it bribery? Did you shower them with gifts? Did you use drugs? Did you find some special pill or potion within the game? I’m not saying it's wrong. If you did, just share the details—"
"WHAT?! No!!" Damon sputtered.
"Then how?" his father pressed. "Look at them! They are slaughtering monsters and praising your mother in perfect harmony! They are actually complimenting each other's skill with a blade! Do you realize how rare that is? Your mother and your aunt once refused to speak for three months over who cooked a better roast!"
Damon buried his face in his hands. "Dad, please, stop talking."
His father leaned in even further, his voice a whisper heavy with envy. "Son… tell me the truth… do you have some special technique in the bedroom—"
Damon’s expression went flat. "Alright. That is enough. I’m going to act like I never heard that."
"I’m not asking for myself, son. I’m asking for your brother. That poor man is wandering around like the walking dead. Can’t you help him out? Find him a girlfriend or two?"
"Look at him over there! He’s fishing peacefully, yet there isn't a single smile on his face. How can a man look that stressed while fishing?!"
Damon covered his ears again. "Dad, I can't… I really can't…"
Fortunately, before his father could cross any more boundaries, his mother approached with a suspicious glint in her eye. "What are you pestering my son about, you old man?"
Damon's father jumped as if a bolt of lightning had struck his spine. His bravado vanished instantly. "N-Nothing! Absolutely nothing!" he stammered, straightening his posture like a soldier caught in a crime. "Just… some father-son bonding! Totally normal! Nothing inappropriate at all!"
"Please stop talking," Damon whispered through gritted teeth.
His mother crossed her arms. "Old man, if I find out you are corrupting my innocent son with nonsense, I’ll beat you with a ladle."
His father gave a bitter smile. "Who is corrupting whom? Woman, are you blind? Can’t you see what your son is doing?"
However, Damon’s mother simply scoffed and ignored him. She turned toward Damon with a gentle smile. "Oh, Damon dear, lunch is almost ready. The girls are learning quite well. All three are adorable and very, very sweet. They are such diligent workers. Polite and talented, too! Honestly, Damon, I am impressed. You brought home three perfect daughters. I am so proud of you." She patted his cheek with affection and walked away.
What on earth? She was fine with it? Just like that? Damon's father looked as though he might burst into tears from the sheer emotional damage.
Damon could only offer a smile in response. Even he hadn't expected this outcome. Apparently, it didn't take much to satisfy his mother. Perhaps just power-leveling her cooking skills? Or whatever those three had done!
Soon, the meal was prepared, and the group gathered to eat together. A vast array of dishes was laid out, their scent absolutely tantalizing. "Everyone, please eat before the food gets cold," Damon's mother said warmly.
No one needed to be told twice; everyone dug in immediately. The food was spectacular, and the platters were emptied at a rapid pace. Naturally, Aurora, Kate, and Lirae all sat around Damon, feeding him one dish after another. Damon never even got the chance to use his own hands to eat.
Damon's mother watched the scene with a heartwarming smile, letting out a happy sigh. "They are taking such good care of my son. My heart is full." Upon hearing this, Damon's dad shot him a look of pure resentment.
Third’s face looked equally pained. Kaelthorn ate a small amount with total indifference. Riven was far too exhausted to care, lying collapsed beneath a tree. Only Blood Wraith gazed at Damon with sparkling eyes, as if he were watching his hero in action.
Meanwhile, the other girls ate in silence, occasionally stealing awkward glances at the rampant public display of affection.
On the other side, Damon's brother remained in his own world. Lola napped beside him, as did Nox, whose stomach was visibly bulging after consuming so many fish. Georgina sat in a different corner, refusing to join in, a heavy scowl on her face as she appeared to be messaging someone on the system interface.
Overall, it was a pleasant evening, and Damon welcomed the change of pace. After the series of intense situations he had faced, he needed this.
Once the meal concluded, Blood Wraith approached Damon with a wide grin. "Bro! I found a great spot nearby! It’s a waterfall with a hidden grotto tucked behind the falling water!" Blood Wraith's eyes practically turned into stars. "The mana density there is through the roof, and the water is incredible. Bro, what do you say we head out there with the guys for some classic bro-time? Just us men, some cold drinks, and a soak in the mana pools to wash away all the stress?"
