SSS Awakening: Rebirth of the Strongest Vampire God Chapter 675 Yay! Adventure time with hubby!

After narrowly escaping a brush with death against a B-rank powerhouse, Damon has retreated to the Crimson Mountains to regroup. Shaken by the overwhelming gap in authority between ranks, he has summoned his closest allies and family through private teleportation gates to prepare for an impending system event. While his inner circle assembles in the main territory, tensions rise as his sister-in-law Georgina voices her resentment over being uprooted. With only hours left to prepare, Damon must bridge the gap in his strength before the forces he provoked finally close in.

Standing behind her was John, her husband and Damon's brother, looking like a defeated NPC who had surrendered his will to live. He opened and closed his mouth repeatedly, eventually offering Damon a helpless glance that clearly signaled, She has been screaming since we departed.

Damon merely blinked in response. Georgina remained where she was, tapping her foot impatiently, her posture demanding an immediate explanation and a sincere apology with interest.

The surrounding crowd shifted uneasily, glancing back and forth. Everyone was well aware of Damon's reputation and found it hard to believe that anyone possessed the audacity to address him in such a tone.

Fortunately, before Damon was forced to respond personally, his mother intervened. "Georgina, be quiet and show some respect. Get back here right now." The ranting woman froze instantly, her finger still aimed at Damon and her mouth hanging open.

Marching forward, Damon's mother seized Georgina by the wrist and dragged her back. She did so with the absolute authority of a matriarch who had raised two monsters and still possessed the strength to rule her household.

"How many times must I tell you," she reprimanded, "that you shouldn't scream at others without understanding the situation?"

Georgina attempted to argue, but she suddenly stiffened, the words dying in her throat. Erin's lethal gaze was fixed upon her, sending cold shivers down her spine. Without another sound, Georgina went silent.

Once satisfied, Damon's mother released her grip.

Damon exhaled a sigh and finally spoke to the assembled group. "As my sister-in-law so eloquently tried to put it," he remarked dryly, "I want to offer my apologies to all of you. You are aware of recent events, and I believe it is vital for everyone to keep a low profile for a time, at least until the situation stabilizes."

A heavy silence fell over the listeners. Damon went on, "There is a high probability—actually, a certainty—that a B rank is hunting me. I refuse to take any risks. This is only for a few days. Once the light faction is preoccupied with the abyss again, you can likely return to the mainland. Until that happens… how do you feel about a special training ground?"

"My Lord… please forgive my intrusion…" Kaelthorn was the first to speak. "If a B rank is involved…" He trembled, unable to finish his thought. "Then even the Crimson Mountains might not offer us sanctuary."

Damon gave a nod of agreement. He was fully aware of the danger. Anyone who had spent enough time in Earth Online knew that only a tiny number of B ranks existed in this world. B rank represented the pinnacle of power, and the world's fragile peace was maintained by these titans behind the scenes.

Deep within the Crimson Mountains, a B-rank ancestor resided as well.

However, that fact changed nothing. That ancient vampire owed Damon no favors and had no duty to shield him. He might not even notice Damon's presence. Damon’s problems were his alone to solve.

"I am aware…" Damon replied with a faint smirk. "That is why I am not relying on his protection. I am not relying on anyone." He raised a hand, pointing toward the dark, shadowed horizon beyond the mountain peaks. "Actually, there is a specific reason I gathered you all here."

His eyes grew sharp. "The wilderness." Everyone turned their heads instinctively.

That vast, ancient, and untouched territory spanned endlessly across the continent of the dark faction. It was a place where forests swallowed the horizon and mountain ranges were alive with mana storms. Valleys there could consume entire legions, and even the sunlight seemed terrified to touch the ground.

If there was a single location that even B-ranks feared to tread… it was that place.

Damon allowed the silence to hang in the air before whispering, "The wilderness is the only region in this world that makes even a B-rank hesitate."

"My lord… Surely you don't intend for us to enter?" Damon kept his eyes fixed on the distant landscape. "Not the whole thing. Not the deep zones. I have no death wish." He then smirked. "Only the outskirts."

Riven stammered in shock. "T-The outskirts are crawling with C-rank beasts!"

"C-rank territories," another person whispered in fear.

"And there are anomalies…" Ellora added, her brow furrowed with worry.

"And there are opportunities," Damon countered. "Rare medicinal herbs. Ancient dungeon cracks. Natural mana pools. An abundance of evolution stones. These are things you require to grow powerful." He turned to face them fully.

"I know the game only launched a few days ago, but I sense that things are about to shift. I am referring to the hidden families. Some of you likely know more about this than I do." Damon directed his gaze specifically toward Phoenix and Blood Wraith.

"When that moment arrives… we must be ready. Furthermore, there is the system event. How many of you got an invitation?"

Only a few people looked puzzled, specifically Kate and his family. Everyone else present was exceptional in their own right, and it appeared they had all secured their own tokens for the system event.

Damon grinned. "Then why wait? Shall we begin our training?" With a shameless smile, he manifested a Blood Gate leading directly to the edge of the wilderness.

Aurora was the first to react, beaming as if she had been invited to a grand gala. "Yay! Finally, some adventure time with hubby!" she chirped. She hurried toward the portal, stopping only to blow a kiss to Damon. "I'll see you on the other side, darling."

Damon smiled back. "Stay close once we cross over. The outskirts can be handled, but that doesn't mean they are safe. Between mana storms, hibernating beast kings, and corrupted zones… we must stay together."

Damon then turned and walked through the Blood Gate. He had brought them here and clarified the stakes. He had no intention of forcing anyone to follow. They were all aware of the risks and their connection to him. As adults, they were capable of choosing their own path, so he left the choice to them.

Those who wished to follow could step through the portal. If they had other plans, he wouldn't hold it against them. This was especially true for someone like Arya, whose ties to him were minimal. He wouldn't mind if the young alchemist decided to return to the blood hall; she wasn't built for the front lines and was likely buried in her soul medicine research anyway.
