SSS Awakening: Rebirth of the Strongest Vampire God Chapter 657: Hubby is so cool, I’m going to die!!

Damon gathered three hundred thousand players, declaring them candidates for his Blood Domain and challenging them to survive the coming chaos to prove themselves worthy. As the siege arrays of Nine Rivers City activated and opposing guilds prepared for battle, Damon unleashed his Blood Domain. He then charged headlong into the enemy defenses, launching a catastrophic attack that shattered the city's protective barrier, leaving all observers stunned by his immense power.

A collective sigh of relief swept through the crowd as the barrier reformed and strengthened a moment later. After all, a player was merely a player; surely he lacked the capacity to dismantle such defenses single-handedly.

Shaking off their lingering dread, the city’s defenders stood tall once more. Guild leaders began shouting new commands while NPC mages funneled fresh mana into the defensive array.

"Hold steady!"

"It was a fluke!"

"He can’t do that twice! No player can!"

Confidence started to return to the ranks. However, that momentary peace didn't last a single heartbeat. Before their thoughts could even settle, a wild, maniacal grin stretched across Damon’s face. He was far from finished.

Floating in the sky like a blood-red star, Damon expanded his chest and took a deep, massive breath. The very air warped as mana surged toward him; torrents of power were ripped from the surroundings, spiraling into his body as if he were a living singularity.

"Huuuu...." He inhaled deeply, drawing in vast amounts of mana that restored his reserves at an incredible speed. "I used almost half my mana reserves for the last attack, and now I am already all topped up. This perfect body is freaking amazing!" He laughed, flexing his hands as raw power thrummed through his veins.

Howling like a lunatic, Damon charged the defensive barrier once again. Lightning crackled across his wings while Hellfire licked at his arms. A toxic mist seeped from his skin, and shadows swirled behind him like obedient serpents.

"AGAIN!!!"

He threw himself at the barrier like a falling meteor—faster, stronger, and more saturated with mana than before. A new crimson lance, even more destructive than the last, manifested in his grip. He slammed into the golden shield without offering it a moment's respite.

The golden barrier pulsed desperately in response, its runes glowing fiercely as arcs of defensive lightning snapped like panicked nerves.

"No! No! No! No!" a mage from Arcane Dawn screamed, watching Damon’s acceleration.

"He’s doing it again?!" a Titanfall berserker roared in disbelief.

"That attack should’ve put him on cooldown!"

"That attack should’ve killed him!!"

"Why is he smiling like that?!"

Even the NPC archmages began to shake as Damon’s aura sliced through the heavens like a blade aimed directly at the city's heart.

Damon’s blood aura flared outward, leaving a trail of crimson in his wake. He didn't pause, he didn't falter, and he certainly didn't slow down. A cyclone formed behind him, shredding incoming spells and tossing siege arrows aside like mere dust. Every attempt to lock onto him and take him down failed; he was simply moving too fast.

BOOM!

One incredible strike landed, followed immediately by another, and then another. To the horror and dismay of everyone watching, Damon continued to batter the golden wall with unrelenting fury, power, and madness.

It defied logic. It was impossible. No player should be able to produce that much destructive force repeatedly, without a break, without a cooldown, and without the system intervening.

Yet Damon did it anyway. Again. And again. And again.

Under the weight of the endless assault, the golden barrier began to wobble. Its glowing surface rippled like water struck by heavy stones. Each collision sent shockwaves outward, destabilizing the arrays and causing entire clusters of runes to flicker out.

Suddenly, the man hovering before them looked like a God, while they felt like nothing more than ants facing an unstoppable force.

BOOOOM!!

The barrier buckled like a living creature screaming in pain.

Players stationed on the walls struggled to keep their balance. NPC soldiers tripped over themselves, covering their eyes as the explosions shook the very foundations of the city.

Down below, the members of the Blood Domain watched the scene in total shock.

One player whispered, "Bro... he’s just... he’s just speed-running war."

Another added quietly, "My guild leader used to tell us to conserve mana... and this dude is out here roleplaying a portable nuclear reactor."

Aurora squeezed her cheeks, squealing like a fan at a concert. "Hubby is so cool, I’m going to die!!"

Kate’s eye twitched in annoyance. "Aurora, calm down."

"No!! I refuse!! Husband is glorious!!"

Meanwhile, Damon’s assault remained relentless. A final thunderous boom echoed through the sky as Damon drove his shoulder into the barrier like a falling deity. And then...

CRAAAAAAAACK!

A narrow fracture raced across the golden surface, glowing with white-hot intensity. Everyone watched the spreading web of cracks with pure terror. But it wasn't over.

Damon lunged forward for one final strike, the last nail in the coffin for the defense. The entire structure splintered and shattered before their eyes. The crowd stood frozen, nobody even blinking. They couldn't even process what had occurred.

All they had seen was a blur of red repeatedly hitting the wall with apocalyptic strength, and now the entire barrier was gone, completely annihilated.

The eastern defense of Nine Rivers City—backed by three guilds, hundreds of NPCs, and every available array—dissolved into a shower of golden shards.

Damon hovered in the void, his chest heaving, his smile curved like a bloody moon. He had expected to feel more drained after consuming and venting so much mana in such rapid succession.

However, his upgraded body and bolstered mental fortitude allowed him to handle the strain perfectly.

Damon rolled his shoulders casually. "Warm up’s done." His eyes then locked onto the ranks of players and NPCs stationed on the walls, those meant to be the first line of defense.

Every mage, commander, ballista operator, and shield-bearer froze under his stare. they looked at him like prey realizing the forest no longer belonged to them.

Damon raised his hand, causing the defenders to flinch. Some ducked, others raised their shields, and some nearly tumbled backward off the ramparts. "You should’ve run when you had the chance." His fist clenched, and mana erupted.

The sky bled crimson. A deluge of toxic blood poured from the clouds. Thousands of heavy scarlet drops plummeted, each glowing with a poisonous, rhythmic light. In an instant, venom was everywhere.
