Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon Chapter 1163 - 1160: His Sea of Consciousness
Previously on Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon...
Corey wasn't the initial person to entertain this wild and ridiculous idea of cutting off their bond with the Universal System.
Numerous people have entertained the notion of breaking their link to the Universal System, mostly due to being fugitives or facing oppression from the Universal System itself.
Corey would be shocked to learn that these people included not just mighty figures beyond New Earth, but also some driven natives of New Earth.
Plenty of New Earth natives have attempted to devise methods for severing their ties to the Universal System, yet every one of them met with failure.
Even entities from outside New Earth have all failed in their efforts to sever their connection to the Universal System.
And the reason boils down to the sheer idiocy of assuming one could possibly sever their bond with the Universal System.
The Universal System surpassed in power even the True Gods across the cosmos. It was an entity that made True Gods tremble at the thought of crossing it.
This system had been forged by one of the mightiest existences throughout all reality.
It was a force that compelled even those in realms superior to True Gods to approach battles against it with utmost caution.
How could mere mortals, immortals, or gods possibly sever their connection to the Universal System?
This became especially impossible as one's progress ascended, since the Universal System tightened its restraints ever more firmly around them.
For those yearning to escape the Universal System's grasp, it often hit them only upon reaching Immortal or God status that higher Tiers only deepened the challenge of slipping free from its control.
Certain ones remained oblivious to the fact that these bindings stemmed from the Universal Brand etched upon their forms, and crucially... upon their very souls.
Not just the flesh endured the branding; the soul itself bore the mark of the Universal System.
To break free from the Universal System, one had to confront and overcome this very brand.

(Inside Corey’s Sea of Consciousness)
Pamela remained utterly stunned and incredulous as she positioned herself atop Corey's Sea of Consciousness.
Her curiosity had burned intensely about the contents of Corey's Sea of Consciousness, and while she suspected it wouldn't resemble anything ordinary.
The reality far exceeded her wildest expectations.
Entering somebody else's Sea of Consciousness typically places one upon the surface of an expansive sea.
Corey's Sea of Consciousness followed this pattern too, yet it diverged sharply from the norm where others possessed merely a sea within their minds.
Corey's inner realm brimmed with extraordinary elements.
The initial sight that seized Pamela's focus was a tree surpassing the legendary world tree in scale.
It stretched endlessly toward the heavens, where myriads of radiant stars glowed in varied hues.
Its limbs entwined several of these celestial bodies, while its roots plunged profoundly into the depths below.
This tree gleamed entirely in silver, its canopy unleashing endless streaks of silver and emerald lightning.
The longer Pamela gazed upon the tree, the more convinced she grew that it represented the world tree belonging to the Silver Elves.
Only vastly grander in every way.
She turned to Corey and indicated the tree with a gesture.
"Is that the world tree of the Silver Elves?"
Corey gave a subtle nod. "Yes and no."
Pamela creased her brow. "Yes and no?"
Corey nodded again. "As you witnessed earlier, I restored the world tree to the Silver Elves. However, a fragment of its essence lingered within me, and..."
He motioned toward the silver tree.
"...I nurtured its growth, transforming it into this... A world spirit tree, perhaps."
Pamela directed her attention back to the world spirit tree, her face twisting into an odd expression.
Though a flood of thoughts swirled in Pamela's mind that she longed to voice, she chose silence.
She tilted her head skyward, the celestial marvels mirroring in her wide eyes.
The spectacle of countless stars radiating diverse lights proved breathtaking beyond measure.
Among the stars, she spotted three pristine white doors drifting lazily. Though their purpose eluded her, an intuition whispered of their profound significance, promising wonders within that would leave her speechless.
Her gaze then drifted far off to the most enormous star.
This one shone in flawless white, bound by heavy chains.
Uncertain of its nature, Pamela sensed deep down that it held tremendous value for her.
"Is that your soul?" She inquired, her stare fixed unwaveringly on the star.
Corey's words floated gently to her.
"No. My soul origin."
Pamela regarded him with intrigued eyes.
"Soul origin? What's a soul origin?"
Corey eyed his soul origin with a faint scowl, then lifted his shoulders in a shrug.
"I can't really describe it since my knowledge is limited. But I suspect it's the core essence of anyone's soul... the vital part."
Pamela knitted her eyebrows in thought, yet Corey offered no pause for her reflection.
He placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Let's head to my soul. It's not visible from this spot."
Pamela eyed him with arched brows. "Your mental space extends even further than what I can perceive?"
Corey offered a grin but stayed silent. With a mere mental command, he shifted them to his Cosmic Soul, leaving Pamela instantly stunned.
She had assumed the soul origin marked the grandest feature in his Sea of Consciousness, but the Cosmic Soul utterly overshadowed it.
It loomed at least tenfold larger than the soul origin, striking her as utterly captivating.
Pamela had encountered countless stunning sights over her lifetime, yet Corey's Cosmic Soul claimed the top spot without question.
Its beauty overwhelmed her completely, making her feel insignificant in its presence.
After a brief interval, she peered into Corey's soul, nearly reeling backward in utter astonishment and awe.
What in the world had she just witnessed?
