Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon Chapter 1134 - 1131: Primus’ Grade
Previously on Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon...
The Curse of Hunger afflicting Primus weighed heavily on Corey's mind. Despite his best efforts and those of Primus itself, the curse remained unshakable.
It possessed a terrifying potency; Corey sensed that even True Gods would find it a monumental challenge to cleanse such a blight.
This was the intuition Corey felt radiating from the curse. After cycling through a billion potential scenarios and performing a trillion mental calculations, he finally exhaled a weary sigh and regained his composure.
As he had always done, he would discover a solution to this obstacle.
"You certainly are a handful, Primus."
Corey stroked Primus with affection, prompting the weapon to emit a gentle, vibrating thrum.
With a smile, Corey lifted Primus to eye level, inspecting him with a curious expression.
"Tell me, Primus, what rank have you attained? As a mortal, my current senses and knowledge aren't refined enough to gauge your level. However, you're clearly a divine weapon now, aren't you?"
Primus pulsed, releasing a distinct chime. Corey’s brow furrowed momentarily before his eyes widened in genuine shock.
"Are you for real?"
"Damn... A peak grade Origin weapon? You've already reached the Origin Grade... I truly didn't see that coming," Corey whispered, stunned by the revelation.
The Classification of Armaments
Before absorbing the vast archives of the Silver Elves, Corey’s understanding of weapon tiers was quite limited.
The majority of the cosmos utilized the ROYGBIV grading scale.
Most beings spent their entire lives assuming that Violet Grade artifacts represented the pinnacle of power, unaware that such weapons were merely the starting point of true greatness.
The ROYGBIV system was designed specifically for Mortals, Astral Beings, and Mystic Beings.
Red Grade gear was intended for Mortals.
Orange, Yellow, and Green Grades were crafted for Astral Beings (ranging from Tier 1 to Tier 3).
Blue, Indigo, and Violet Grades served Mystic Beings (spanning Tier 4 to Tier 6).
However, the hierarchy for Immortal armaments functioned on an entirely different level than those of Mortals or Mystic Beings.
The Immortal Weapon Grading System consisted of: Transcendent Grade, Empyrean Grade, and Zenith Grade.
Transcendent Grade weapons were forged for Tier 7 experts.
Empyrean Grade weapons were for those at Tier 8.
Zenith Grade weapons were reserved for Tier 9 elites or Demi-Gods.
Above these lay the God-level or Divine armaments: Dominion Grade, Sovereign Grade, and finally, Origin Grade.
Dominion Grade weapons were the tools of Tier 10s or Lesser Gods.
Sovereign Grade weapons belonged to Tier 11s or Greater Gods.
Origin Grade weapons were the exclusive domain of Tier 12s or True Gods.
Unlike the simpler ROYGBIV scale, every Immortal and Divine grade was divided into four distinct sub-ranks:
Low grade.
Mid grade.
High grade.
And Peak grade.
The gap between sub-ranks was massive, while the chasm between major grades was simply beyond comprehension.
That Primus was now a peak Origin Weapon left Corey utterly floored.
He had estimated that, at most, Primus might reach the low Dominion grade.
Despite his immense talent, he wasn't so conceited as to think a mortal could easily forge a Divine Weapon.
His skepticism was rooted in several factors, one of which was paramount.
He lacked the ability to command Divine Energy.
To forge a Divine Weapon of any rank, the creator must be capable of channeling or manipulating Divine Energy—an ability Corey did not yet possess.
In truth, Corey felt that if his finished product had emerged as a Divine Weapon, it would have been a sign of failure.
While an ordinary mortal might be bursting with pride at such an achievement, Corey was different.
Producing a Divine Weapon without the use of Divine Energy would imply that the ores and components used were of such staggering quality that the weapon should have been even stronger.
It would be like a Blacksmith using materials saturated with mystic energy only to produce a Green Grade sword—a weapon for a Tier 3 at the peak of the Astral Realm.
Any master Blacksmith would mourn such a waste of rare materials, and peers would likely heap scorn upon the maker for their incompetence.
Corey held himself to that same standard.
If Primus had been born a Divine Grade weapon immediately after forging, it would mean he had squandered the precious ingredients.
It would suggest the materials were so legendary that even a flawed process resulted in a Divine tool.
Fortunately, Primus was not a Divine Weapon when the forging process concluded.
Initially, Primus was a peak Zenith Weapon upon completion, which aligned perfectly with Corey's expectations.
However, once Corey performed the naming ceremony, the weapon evolved into a peak Dominion Grade.
Then, after consuming the Tribulation, it ascended further to the peak Origin Grade.
By devouring the soul, spirit, and Will of the God of Blacksmiths, Primus’ foundation was reinforced to an incredible degree.
Because its first two "meals" after birth were a Heavenly Tribulation and a literal God, Primus possessed a foundation that was exceptionally robust, even compared to other Origin Grade armaments.
Gazing at Primus in its base form, Corey felt a deep sense of satisfaction.
A peak Origin Weapon... it was no wonder the gods would covet such a prize.
The most impressive part?
Corey was capable of tapping into a massive portion of Primus’ latent power.
Even as a mortal who should be limited, he could draw out roughly 60% of the weapon's potential.
This was only possible because he had infused his own soul, spirit, and Will into Primus' very creation.
A smile played on Corey's lips as he considered the future. With a flick of his wrist, a new object appeared.
The crystal orb containing the six weapon spirits from his previous arms manifested before him.
