Zwein discovers the truth behind his past life and his sudden death through a letter from the God of Earth, who grants him a second chance in a world based on a game. Along with this rebirth, a mysterious system interface appears, though its initial functions remain locked and empty. After learning the system is dedicated to carnal tools, Zwein receives his first reward for no longer being a virgin. He opens his inventory to find a surprising item that leaves him speechless.

My life continued in this manner for the next several days.

Since I was considered Madame Rose's personal property, I was left alone to lounge around as I pleased, with no one daring to interfere.

Naturally, my nights were far from idle.

Madame Rose... truly possessed an insatiable appetite.

Because I enjoyed such preferential treatment from her, it was inevitable that the others would feel resentful. Consequently, communicating with anyone in the manor became a challenge, as the staff went out of their way to avoid me.

Frequently, they would cast glances at me that were dripping with contempt.

While it wasn't difficult to deduce what the maids and butlers were thinking, I chose to pay them no mind.

My thoughts were occupied by far more pressing matters.

Aware that a catastrophe was looming over this place, I knew I had to devise an escape plan.

Living comfortably under Madame Rose's favor was a temporary luxury that wouldn't last forever.

To gather information, I started wandering through the manor during my downtime.

Although I didn't find much physical evidence, I managed to overhear several intriguing whispers.

"Have you heard? Monster activity has spiked recently. People are even saying a monster wave will hit the city soon."

"Is that true? Where did you get that information?"

"My husband serves in the guards. He mentioned they've been forced into extra training and are sending more frequent patrols into the forest lately."

Hearing this, I couldn't help but prick up my ears.

These two maids had completely ignored my presence when they entered the library to clean, starting their gossip right in front of me while I was reading.

I had ignored them initially, but their conversation quickly demanded my full attention.

After all, I already knew how this scenario was supposed to end.

That monster wave was destined to arrive and wipe out the entire city. With these signs appearing, I realized the clock was ticking faster than I expected.

I strained to listen more closely to their hushed voices.

"Did your husband mention if they found anything specific yet?"

The first maid shook her head, her voice dropping to a mysterious whisper. "They haven't found the monsters' den, but they've stumbled upon traces of something else entirely."

Looking confused, the second maid asked, "What do you mean?"

The first maid glanced around nervously to ensure they were alone before leaning in close. "They found signs of demons."

Demons—that was a pivotal element in the plot of this H-game.

Set in a medieval fantasy world, the game naturally featured demons alongside various other races like elves.

The demonic threat was tied to one of the primary storylines available to players.

It was a path centered on battling the demon forces attempting to subjugate the world.

Because that route was fraught with peril and often resulted in a tragic ending, most players avoided it. I only tackled it because I wanted a challenge as a completionist.

While I knew where demons usually appeared, I had no memory of them being mentioned during the tutorial scenario.

Was it possible there was content I had missed despite my thorough playthroughs?

I recalled the excitement of discovering new secrets while playing, but now that I was actually here, a sense of dread took over. If I didn't know the script perfectly, I couldn't determine the best move.

If demons were truly involved, the situation had grown far more complex.

"Demons!" the second maid blurted out.

The first maid frantically gestured for her to be quiet, scanning the room. Once she was satisfied they hadn't been caught, she added cryptically, "That's not even the half of it..."

The second maid waited in silence for her to continue.

However, the first maid suddenly cut herself off.

She turned her gaze toward me, forcing me to quickly bury my face in my book.

Fortunately, she didn't look closely enough to see that I was holding the book upside down.

Soon after, the pair finished their chores and departed.

Once they were gone, I couldn't stop wondering what she had been about to reveal.

It was clearly significant given her level of caution, yet she had held her tongue.

Distracted by the news of the demons, I lost all interest in reading. I needed to plan, and the library was too exposed.

I began making my way back to the private quarters Madame Rose had assigned to me.

Along the way, I stumbled upon another piece of the puzzle.

Two butlers were deep in conversation in the hallway.

As I approached, their words caught my interest, prompting me to duck behind a corner to eavesdrop.

"Are you telling me the Lord Baron hasn't requested aid from the capital for the coming beast waves?"

"What? The monsters are practically at our gates and the Lord Baron hasn't asked for reinforcements? Does he honestly believe we can handle that horde on our..."

Before his agitated shouting could continue, the first butler clamped a hand over his mouth, signaling for silence.

Realizing his blunder, the second butler nodded to show he had regained his composure. Once released, he asked in a strained whisper, "Does the Lord Baron intend for us all to perish?"

The first butler remained silent for a moment before shaking his head. "The Lord Baron has his reasons; he won't let us die."

"How can you be so certain?" the second butler asked, sounding unconvinced.

The first butler hesitated, then sighed. "Do you truly want to know why the Lord Baron hasn't called for help?"

The question caught the second butler off guard. After a few seconds of stunned silence, he nodded slowly.

The first butler checked their surroundings before whispering, "It involves Madame Rose."

"Madame Rose?" the second butler repeated, his expression one of pure confusion.

After another moment of hesitation, the first butler whispered, "They've discovered evidence that Madame Rose is linked to the beast wave."

The second butler nearly shouted again, but the first butler was prepared and muffled him instantly. He only let go once the other man had calmed down.

Glancing around fearfully, the second butler asked, "You're saying Madame Rose is behind the beast wave? How is that even possible?"

The first butler shook his head solemnly. "This isn't a matter for us to meddle in. It is for the Lord Baron to handle." His tone was grave.

Understanding the weight of those words, the two of them hurried away.

I remained standing there, my mind reeling from the revelation.

Madame Rose was connected to the beast wave?

This was a plot twist that had never appeared in the game.
