Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2056: Elementals

Previously on Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure...
Shota seized a peculiar rock from the tree, sensing its hidden arms and legs while his companions dismissed it as ordinary. Detecting faint tremors, he challenged the unseen watchers surrounding them, squeezing the rock to provoke a response that shook the ground and summoned encircling stones. As tension mounted, transferring the rock activated the Mark of God, halting the advance and drawing a voice from the stone creature in his grasp, which mistook it for a fairy but revealed its true form upon his claim of being sent to aid them. The surrounding stones then unveiled themselves as identical beings, prompting Shota to question their nature and tenure in the area.

The tiny stone being clutched in my palm ultimately remained silent on that matter.

It simply gazed upward at me, almost like it expected me to resolve the query it had posed earlier.

Thus, with a heavy sigh escaping my lips, I declared, "I’m the envoy from the gods, dispatched to aid you." In a hushed tone afterward, I added, "Though truthfully, I’m not entirely sure about the ways I’m meant to provide that aid."

"Envoy of the gods?" That familiar voice echoed once again.

Clearly, their focus stayed locked on whatever piqued their interest, showing zero concern for responding to my inquiries.

Yet honestly, there wasn’t any compelling reason for them to address what I’d asked.

Following a brief pause, the small stone entity in my grasp began wriggling anew, appearing eager to take some action.

Though clueless about its intentions, I chose not to intervene this round.

Having caught the inflection in its voice as it echoed my words, I felt assured it wouldn’t attempt anything bizarre. Curiosity burned within me regarding the little stone being’s next move.

Without straying far, the diminutive stone figure scaled my palm and positioned itself there. Its stare fixed on my hand suggested it sought a particular detail hidden within.

Evidently aiming for the rear of my hand bearing the Mark of God, I gradually rotated my palm to grant it access.

As my hand shifted, it traversed the surface until arriving at the spot with the Mark of God.

The small stone entity lingered in place, scrutinizing the Mark of God intently for several moments before abruptly extending its tiny stone limb toward it.

Upon touching the Mark of God, a peculiar bond instantly surged through me.

Just as anticipated, an odd divine power emanated from this little stone being.

A portion of me had foreseen this outcome, given that the gods had transported me to this hidden realm. They’d concealed it with that massive array to shield it from outsiders.

Hence, anything dwelling here must link back to the divine in some fashion.

Regarding the precise nature of that link...

At minimum, these diminutive stone beings could converse with us, which opened the door to dialogue and potential insights from them.

Provided, of course, that they chose to share anything with us.

Once it appeared content with its discovery, the little stone entity lost all fascination with the Mark of God on my hand’s back, leaping away abruptly.

Seeing this descent, the remaining small stone beings rushed over to encircle it, murmuring among themselves in what looked like a heated debate over its observations.

Eventually, their conference concluded, and they pivoted as though preparing to depart.

For our bewildered party, uncertainty gripped us, leaving no clear path forward in this odd predicament.

Yet they quickly wheeled around to face us, declaring, "Come with us. We’ll show you to our village."

Klein and the royal guards instinctively turned to me, their eyes seeking guidance on how to proceed.

Initially, I shared their confusion, as this scenario lay far beyond my prior experiences. While aware that my trial demanded aiding something in this place, I couldn’t confirm if these stone beings were the key.

Ultimately, trailing them to uncover the truth struck me as wiser than idling here without a single hint.

Should things turn dire, escaping through combat remained an option.

After all, even with their numbers, I sensed these little stone beings lacked true power.

Therefore, I guided our group ahead, shadowing the stone creatures closely.

While advancing, I couldn’t resist inquiring again, "What are you?"

On this occasion, they finally seemed open to responding.

"We’re rock elementals."

"Elementals?" I echoed, my tone laced with bewilderment, yet that appeared to exhaust their willingness to elaborate.

Still, I noticed the peculiar glances they shot my way as I repeated the term.

It felt like they were baffled by my own bafflement.

For them, elementals clearly ranked as ordinary existences.

Whereas for humanity, such beings like these were utter strangers.

Even I, familiar with this realm from its game days, had encountered no tales of elementals in use.

Unlike other titles boasting elemental summons, this one featured solely a spirit invocation mechanic, relying on ethereal beings forged from spiritual essence.

Entities akin to the Spirit Kings I’d bound were the extent of it.

Thus, drawing such a line between elementals and spirits felt utterly alien.

Undeniably, though, they diverged from spirits, lacking those intangible forms.

Rather than ghostly wisps, their solid stone compositions screamed earthly origins. Composed of raw elements, equating them to spirits proved impossible.
