Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2025: It’s not finished yet

Previously on Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure...
The patients, afflicted by a mysterious illness, were enclosed in balls of pure water sustained by the protagonist's power, allowing healing magic and potions to finally take effect and slowly restore them. Upon regaining consciousness, they reacted with fear, suspecting the mermaids of poisoning them despite the protagonist's knowledge of the true cause tied to Aestum's warnings. Calmed by the kraken's influence, the patients and the Merman King accompanied the protagonist back to the taboo zone, where the whirlpools vanished, the water balls were released, and the group confronted Aestum's awaiting light, demanding the hidden truth.

True to my expectations, Aestum remained completely silent.

This mysterious knowledge had been hidden away by it for ages, so there was no way it would just spill the details now simply because I insisted on knowing.

The sole sign from Aestum appeared to be a faint ripple in the glowing blue orb.

I had no clue what caused that, yet it hardly felt like any sign of doubt.

Following an extended quiet moment, Aestum at last spoke, "It’s not time yet. It’s not finished yet."

"Not finished? What do you mean by this?" I demanded, my tone weighted with urgency.

But the reply that came was merely, "You have the power to turn this situation around, so you should use it to change the fate of all the ones here."

Hearing those words only deepened my bewilderment, though I never got the opportunity to press further since the azure light sphere abruptly dimmed and vanished.

My jaw slackened in shock at this display, as I could never have imagined a divine being like Aestum fleeing the scene. Still, after witnessing that abrupt exit, nothing else made sense except it dodging the confrontation.

After all, it had just vanished without allowing me another word, right when my questions were closing in.

Beyond an attempt to evade my inquiries, I couldn't interpret it any other way.

Gradually regaining my composure, I turned my gaze downward to the kraken coiled tightly around my arm.

The kraken stayed motionless, averting its eyes from me, almost as if it hoped to stay utterly unnoticed. It acted like nothing more than a lifeless decoration.

Yet, forgetting its presence wasn't something I could manage so simply.

"I don’t know anything." In the end, that's all the kraken muttered.

My eyes narrowed sharply as it uttered those words, but it truly didn't appear to be deceiving me.

Even as Aestum's envoy, it wasn't privy to every secret the god held. Especially not one tied between deities, which they wouldn't casually disclose.

At this point, my only option was to puzzle out the true intent behind Aestum's cryptic message.

It claimed I possessed the ability to alter everyone's destiny in this place...

Was that hinting at some tool or knowledge I held that could ease the allergic torments afflicting the other races dwelling here?

Recalling my previous existence, innovations had emerged to combat such allergies. Of course, I wasn't any kind of healer back then, so my grasp on those remedies was limited.

I understood their basic function at best, but the methods of their production escaped me entirely.

Nevertheless, it provided a starting point worth pursuing...

"Call for the sea witches, I’ll need their help." I uttered with a weary sigh.

The Merman King looked taken aback by my command, yet he swiftly instructed the royal guards to act.

He might not grasp the full picture, but he had overheard Aestum's words, giving him a basic sense of the stakes. Resolving this would lighten the burden of remorse weighing on the royal family.

That's why he'd lend every effort to support this endeavor.

As the royal guards hurried off, the sea witches soon made their entrance.

Actually, Zyra took the lead among them, drawn by her own curiosity about the unfolding events.

Or perhaps it stemmed from the duty she felt, having wed the previous crown prince.

With everyone assembled, I shared details of the allergy treatments from my former life.

I realized it probably sounded like nonsense to them, judging by the puzzled expressions etched on their faces.

Sure enough, Zyra piped up with, "What is this ’allergy’ that you speak of."

I'd anticipated that reaction, so I did my utmost to describe it clearly.

Though no medical expert in my prior life, my general awareness allowed me to convey the essentials effectively.

"So it’s like this...We already knew that there was something like this, but we never thought that it would be this complicated."

Not only Zyra sank into contemplation after my explanation; all the sea witches followed suit.

These were scholars at heart, so when presented with a fresh puzzle to unravel...

I held back, observing if any insights would emerge, but it appeared they drew a blank. Even with my description, cracking this wouldn't happen in an instant.

In truth, the very notion of 'allergy' remained elusive to them, a concept slipping through their fingers.

Shifting focus, I delved into the specifics of past-life remedies for allergies.

While speaking, I noted their reactions, which tugged a wry smile onto my lips.

I understood bridging concepts from my old world into this realm of sorcery was a long shot, but attempting it felt necessary.

Ultimately, they struggled to keep pace with my words.

Until the topic of allergy shots came up.

"So it’s basically using the substance to build up the body’s resistance. It’s like the tonics that we use."

That observation caught me off guard, and I promptly replied, "Tell me more."
