Reborn as an Extra Chapter 621: The Airhead Twins, Lyria And Miria. Part-1.

As soon as Kai activated his 'World Authority' to mimic a partial ruling on the demon, the 'Law' of 'Judgement' swiftly declared the demon as guilty.
This wasn't due to any particular offense or wrongdoing; the 'law' of the 'world' didn't even glance at the strands of fate to determine the demon's culpability.
It unleashed a tremendous bolt of divine retribution upon the demon solely because he was identified as a 'demon.'
Within the 'laws' of this 'world,' demons are viewed as a 'cancer,' and anything linked to miasma or the 'law' of 'miasma and corruption' is utterly intolerable!
Their mere presence is despised, and regardless of a demon's personal virtues, the 'laws' of the 'world' will inevitably condemn them simply for being there.
Kai had been aware of this fact for some time, and as his summoner, Lia had long understood it too.
However, she hadn't been able to leverage this ability until this very moment.
It was only after the events at the Ascension Spire that Lia advanced to a half-step into rank S, gaining the strength to bear such a weight.
Invoking the power of a 'law' from the 'world' is no trivial feat; if it were the Lia of several months prior, merely enduring this load would have torn her apart from within.
Yet, through her battles in the ascension spire alongside Alverto, Lia acquired profound insights and achieved remarkable control over her abilities, much like the rest of the group.
The convergence of these elements enabled her to accomplish what she did on this day.
Eliminating the demon served not only as a display of might and dominance; it also allowed Lia to forge a stronger bond with her abilities and deepen her comprehension of her own 'Path.'
The intense heavenly judgement ripped through the fabric of space-time and almost threw the entire S-rank dungeon into chaos, but fortunately, it vanished instantly without causing the dungeon's collapse.
Had that occurred, Lia would have been forcibly expelled from the dungeon, cutting her training mission short.
The rifts in space completely obliterated the demon from being, and as they began to seal themselves gradually, Lia abruptly exclaimed,
'Oh wait! I was supposed to question that demon for details!'
It was at that point that Lia recalled her battle wasn't aimed at victory alone but at prying information from the demon!
[Don't worry about that demon; we possess a far superior method to obtain intel. Check over your shoulder...]
[The individuals you rescued are present...]
Upon hearing Kai's advice, Lia felt puzzled; her spiritual sense detected no signs of life behind her, yet she trusted him and pivoted around.
Much to her astonishment, two tiny airborne beings, each about the size of an adult's palm, were approaching her.
Shaped like diminutive elves, they appeared adorable and enchanting, with a pair of wings on each of their backs!
Spotting them, Lia quickly pieced it together and voiced her shock.
'Elemental Fairies!?'
These mythical beings, the fairies who vanished from the outer world after relentless pursuit by demons and other aggressive races and monsters, now hovered before Lia.
From her academy studies, Lia knew that in the modern era, fairies resided in a distinct realm known as the 'Fairyland,' safeguarded by the dragon valley.
The sole path to accessing the 'Fairyland' and encountering fairies today involves traveling to the Dragon Valley first, then securing approval from the Dragon King.
Afterward, one must pass through carefully monitored gateways hidden within the Dragon Valley.
Folklore also suggests that certain avaricious humans in bygone eras played a role in driving the fairy race to extinction beyond their sanctuary.
This tragedy unfolded post the thousand-year war, long after King Allen and Astra had departed, leaving no mighty figures to halt the slaughter.
Fairies weren't aligned with the world alliance, and the planet was still reeling from a thousand years of conflict; scarcity of resources fueled much discord.
No faction wished to divide their assets with outsiders; within the world alliance, every group vied for supplies, and including another race would offer no advantages.
Demons exploited the fragmented and frail world alliance following King Allen's exit, inflicting heavy losses and utterly ravaging the fairies' natural habitats.
Ultimately, the dragons stepped in, offering the fairy race refuge within their domains.
From that point onward, whether humans, elves, or any other species, contact with the fairy race was forbidden, and gaining the dragon king's permission to approach 'Fairyland' entrances became exceedingly rare.
Consequently, the world has had no interactions with fairies for hundreds of years, and Lia had only encountered them through texts and illustrations.
This marked the very first occasion in Lia's life where she laid eyes on actual fairies!
As Lia stood there in a stupor, the two endearing sprites darted closer and gazed at her with their large, glistening eyes, chirping joyfully.
'Thank you for rescuing us! Thank you for freeing Miria and Lyria from that demon!'
Before Lia could respond, the pair dipped into respectful bows and continued.
'Lyria and Miria extend our greetings, Ms. Royal Fairy. We are delighted that a mighty noble like yourself has personally come to our aid!'
The words from Lyria and Miria left Lia bewildered; she couldn't fathom why they were confusing her with one of their kind.
[Little one... you've got wings just like theirs sprouting from your back... if you shrank down... folks would take you for an armored fairy!]
It took Kai's reminder for Lia to recall that she too possessed wings resembling those of a fairy!
She hadn't intentionally crafted them that way; it was simply that these luminous wings excelled at boosting her velocity and agility, so she left their natural form unchanged.
Never in her wildest imaginings had she anticipated crossing paths with genuine fairies, who would then recognize her wings and assume she belonged to their race!
'I never thought I'd end up as a fairy one day... I'm so much larger than them... how could they commit such a blatant error...'
'Could it be that the history books were spot on about fairies... are they truly such 'Airheads'?... That seems unlikely?'
