Vritra's group approached the heavily defended Glasses base at a college, where Ming, a reluctant member, vouched for them. Guards confronted them aggressively upon learning of Vritra's request to borrow the organization's precious attribute mine, leading to a swift non-lethal takedown by Shitless, Onest, Teresa, Yasmine, and Vanessa as the group pressed inside. Subduing waves of residents and the vice leader, they reached Glass, the plain but capable leader, who was baffled and refused the demand, only for Vritra to seal his mouth with an ability and extract information about the mine through Vanessa.

After conquering Glass, Vanessa activated her power to dominate their chief and pinpoint the Attribute Mine's whereabouts.

"Honey, I found it." Moments later, she responded, then continued: "It's the mine for Flame Stones."

"Oh, so besides attribute stones, other types exist as well."

It was unfortunate, yet these stones held lesser worth compared to the Attribute Stones.

Not every member of his group could utilize them, though Fiona, Yasmine, Yennefer, and Vritra himself were capable.

"I suppose that's acceptable, let's head over and seize the mine for only one day." Vritra declared, eyeing Glass's leader who remained visibly distressed.

'Sigh, at least they're not slaughtering us, and it's merely borrowing for a single day. My power falls short, so I'll swallow the loss this round.' Glass pondered.

He ceased his resistance.

Being just one day, he felt somewhat unconcerned.

"Let's move." Vanessa announced, guiding the team onward.

Shitless and Onest lingered behind for surveillance, since the mine provided them no value anyhow.

In reality, the mine lay close to the college's heart, tucked within the central structure.

As they entered the primary edifice, Vritra detected numerous figures concealed in the surrounding chambers.

"So this is the mine." Pausing at a radiant opening in the floor, Vritra leaped right in.

Several laborers still toiled within and got shocked as the group suddenly materialized.

"W-Who are you?!!" they shouted, directing their digging tools toward the invaders.

"We've bargained with your captain, so we'll command this mine for one day." Vritra stated, swiftly herding all the workers out without delay.

Afterward, he examined the luminous crimson stones fixed into the walls.

Extracting these gems posed some challenge, given the walls' solid rock composition, unlike the powdery surfaces from before.

'If only I possessed my dust ability…' Vritra lamented, then glanced backward.

"Shall we start working then?"

"Yes!" the women shouted, and they all began laboring.

Vritra, Yasmine, Yennefer, and Fiona outright consumed the stones, while the others simply gathered them for the group.

Outsiders witnessing this would surely stand dumbfounded.

Ordinarily, swallowing a full stone would inflict severe damage.

People typically siphoned the energy gradually, but Vritra and his allies engulfed it entirely.

This came as no shock, since they were demigods, even with their powers and skills sealed.

The players reaped the same perk.

Rapidly, they shattered the walls using brute force and yanked out the stones.

The mine resounded with their lively talk and the cracking of rocks.

Shitless and Onest soon arrived to lend a hand, then withdrew to guard the exterior.

Relentlessly, the team toiled through the full day without pause.

They also claimed the already mined and stored stones.

Glass lingered outside with a heavy sigh; almost a day had elapsed, yet no sign of them emerged.

'I wonder if he'll remain inside beyond a day—what can I possibly do?' Glass sighed.

He shot a venomous glare at Ming, who had unleashed this nightmare upon them.

How could this man wield such immense power?

Glass had battled various rival factions; he was a kind-hearted sort who diligently upheld his outpost.

Yet most groups operated far differently, constantly raiding his base for supplies.

And to capture the women.

'Sigh, I hope no raid strikes now—we're in no shape to battle.' Glass reflected, convinced Vritra wouldn't intervene.

Just minutes shy of the agreed day's conclusion, Vritra and his companions strolled out of the central building, conversing casually.

'T-They actually… emerged!!' Glass inwardly cried, breathing a deep sigh of relief.

Those stones proved vital for clashing with enemy groups.

"Thanks for your kindness; as vowed, I've exited within the day." Vritra grinned, slapping Glass's shoulder.

"You're leaving right away, correct?" the beleaguered leader pleaded.

"Yes, naturally—like I said, we're honorable types. We won't attack without cause." Vritra soothed, then inquired:

"By the way, how many despicable human groups operate nearby?"

He sought more shards to elevate his attributes; slaying humans and mutants accelerated that process.

"Plenty exist—why? Planning to assault them?" Glass queried, gradually rising, still ensnared by the blood rope.

"Exactly, could you brief your subordinate Ming on them all?" Vritra requested, aiming to swiftly dismantle some minor and moderate factions.

Before tackling the formidable ones.

"…Alright." Glass nodded, scanning the area and spotting Ming beside Ergen and a woman.

Vritra took note as well; the woman sported highly seductive and scant attire, making her survival method obvious.

"Is she Ming's spouse?" he wondered aloud.

"Yes, she pleases many troops in exchange for sustenance and supplies—I've heard she's had numerous flings since wedlock, so it's typical for her." Glass remarked.

Remaining unmarried beat having a partner like that.

"Heh, such a matched duo—you're perfect together." Ergen snickered, relieved his rescue came promptly.

"…" Ming's cheeks burned crimson with humiliation and rage.

"What? How dare you? What alternatives did I have? I desire extravagance, and amid the apocalypse, only trading myself achieves that." The woman proclaimed defiantly.

"Be silent—we're done. Stay back." Ming ordered, distancing himself from her.

"Heh, what's this, my dear? Regardless, I'll remain your wife, loving just you, no matter how many take me.

It's nothing but empty, loveless encounters—in truth, I'm solely yours." She insisted, reaching to embrace Ming.

She truly viewed her choices as the proper model for women—autonomous and tough.

"Enough with the spectacle? Ming, discuss with Glass." Vritra interjected.

"Oh!!" The woman's eyes expanded at the sight of the most striking man imaginable, her frame sparking with instant eagerness.

She perceived his strength and assumed vast stockpiles; claiming him would secure her forever.

"Hey, gorgeous, care for an extended, cozy chat—" she approached teasingly, arching toward him.

"Scram!" Vritra commanded with clear disdain.

Women of her ilk were far too tainted, and even a regular female's proximity would repulse him.

She longed to press on, but the fierce stares from seven women nearby intimidated her, compelling a swift withdrawal.

With Ming fully informed, they vacated the Glass outpost, advancing to their following mark: the Blood Fang.

"Sigh, at long last, they're away…" Glass exhaled gratefully, opting to inspect the extent of their single-day haul.

They bore no loads, delighting him; how much could one absorb in a mere day?

Still, the immediate days ahead would strain his composure sorely.
