Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill Chapter 639 Again?!

Vritra sipped his coffee as he stood on the balcony, staring at the chaotic mess below.
A number of mutants prowled through the streets, plain to see.
"The sea appears way more perilous than the land. I ought to avoid it until my power grows sufficient," Vritra mused, scheming to eliminate a handful of mighty mutants.
Yasmine approached him from behind and wrapped her arms around him; she'd come perilously close to dying just yesterday.
"Wifey, folks on this world can be every bit as wicked as those vile groups back on Zoratia. They've totally abandoned their humanity," Vritra muttered.
He let out a sigh. That butcher had slaughtered a woman merely to get to them.
"Yeah, hubby, it's in chaotic eras like these that their real cravings emerge, revealing their authentic selves.
Still, they make excellent targets for your sin points, so we can take them down without a second thought," Yasmine replied.
Such atrocities had become all too familiar to them, yet this world mirrored Earth so closely. Vritra never anticipated humans turning into outright fiends.
"Oh yeah, I wonder if any army or defense forces are still operational to safeguard folks. Maybe we should try a radio or similar?" she suggested.
"Nah, their existence or absence won't impact our objectives. Let's clear this structure first, then head ou—" Vritra halted mid-sentence when a glaring flash forced his eyes shut.
He lifted his hand and peered toward the edifice across the street.
On the seventh level, a figure held a tiny mirror, directing the light to catch his notice.
The gap between the structures spanned roughly a hundred meters.
Two youngsters lingered on that balcony. The female wielded the mirror as the male frantically gestured with his arms.
They took care to avoid making noise.
"Hmm, seems like they're in need of aid," Vritra remarked. Their forms stood out sharply to him.
Across in that structure, the girl appeared frail and anxious, persistently signaling with the reflection.
"Gary, do you think they've spotted us?" the girl, who seemed about seventeen or eighteen, inquired.
"I believe so—they're watching right now," Gary, her elder brother, responded while waving his arms with haste.
"B-But will they actually assist us, or even be able to?" Mira, the fragile girl, questioned.
"…" Gary fell silent at her words, doubt clouding his gaze.
"Idiot, keep going," she urged in a hushed, urgent whisper.
Excitement bubbled up as they spotted humans in the neighboring building, once overrun by mutants.
Perhaps those people had simply stayed concealed earlier.
"N-No, they've gone away…" Mira's eyes welled with tears as she dropped the mirror. Hunger gnawed at her fiercely.
"S-Should we attempt slipping out? That mutant might have vanished," Gary suggested, his voice laced with fear as he eyed his sister.
He was merely nineteen.
"What about the wolves? They could still be prowling, hunting for us…" Tears flowed freely down her face as she slumped weakly to the ground.
His power to render things invisible had let them escape the Wolves' lair.
They'd even scavenged food from nearby structures, but one mutant had detected them, trapping them inside.
…
Vritra and Yasmine returned to the apartment interior. They relayed the discovery to the rest.
"Do we rescue them?" Yasmine glanced at Vritra. The group would abide by his choice.
While they'd prefer to aid the youths if feasible, endangering the team was out of the question.
"Absolutely, we intended to purge a few buildings regardless. We might uncover useful intel too," Vritra declared. His heightened awareness would reveal any potent mutant's presence.
"Prepare yourselves—we're moving out," he instructed shortly after.
"Sure thing, honey; aiding others is ideal when we can, but always with safeguards," Vanessa replied, grinning.
Everyone had recovered well, so they swiftly donned heavier attire. Shitless and Onest prepared as well.
"Shitless, how much longer will you resemble a mutant?" Vritra queried, eyeing the monk's vivid crimson skin and protruding eyes. He cut a comical figure.
"Beats me; I've been stuck like this since that massive octopus ejected me via its waste," Shitless replied with a shrug.
Mutants no longer targeted him at all.
"Fine, that suits our needs. You'll serve as our forward scout from here on," Vritra decided.
"Got it—you can count on me. I'm everything except courageous—wait, that came out backward. Actually, I'm, uh…" Shitless trailed off, perplexed.
Brushing aside his typical absent-mindedness, they descended the stairs, dispatching several mutants en route.
Snow had piled up substantially, nearly burying the ground level.
As they neared the target building, Vritra surveyed the area and detected numerous mutants nearby.
"Shitless, head up and scout," Vritra directed with a nod.
The monk Shitless dashed upward without delay. Mutants steered clear of him like he bore a deadly contagion.
The spectacle drew laughter from the team. He truly embodied a mobile sideshow.
If Bully were present, transportation would prove effortless.
Minutes later, Shitless came back and reported, "The bulk of mutants are feeble, though a formidable one lurks. It wields telekinesis, situated on the seventh floor."
"Onward," Vritra affirmed with a nod. They ascended without pause.
They dispatched mutants during the climb, reaching the seventh floor swiftly.
A skeletal, emaciated figure resembling an elderly man sat cross-legged before a doorway.
Bits of rubble and pebbles hovered around it ceaselessly.
Its elevated spiritual prowess had enabled it to detect the siblings.
Grrrrrr…
The mutant snarled upon their approach, hurling various items at them like projectiles.
Vritra summoned a barrier of blood, then formed crimson spears to slay the creature with ease.
KNOCK KNOCK
He rapped on the door prior to announcing.
"Hey, it's me—the guy from across the way."
Gary hesitated before peering through the peephole, his face lighting up with relief at the sight.
Yet doubt crept in once more. What if these were Wolves members?
'No way—with all those women alongside him, he can't be affiliated with the Wolves,' Gary reasoned, unlocking the door. He kept Mira out of sight.
"H-Hi, I'm Gary. Thanks for the rescue…" His eyes bulged in astonishment at the women's stunning allure.
He recoiled sharply upon spotting the scarlet mutant.
"W-Watch out—mutant's here!!" he yelled, vanishing instantly.
"Sigh, relax. He's human and part of our crew. Now, describe your circumstances," Vritra instructed. He sensed the girl but refrained from mentioning her.
"O-Oh, I got captured by a faction known as the Wolves…" He swiftly recounted his tale.
The Wolves employed radios to entice victims, ensnaring many.
The siblings had fortuitously fled, yet pursuit lingered.
Vritra recalled the wolves controlled by that butcher, prompting his query,
"A burly fellow resembling a butcher—is he the Wolves' chief?"
"Ah, him? He's called Butcher, but no, he's not with the Wolves. A pal, the Wolves' leader, supplied those wolves.
Butcher heads a outfit named Big Bang Colony."
Vritra scowled inwardly, 'What the hell? BBC once more?'
"Understood. Where are these outposts located?" Vritra pressed.
"Uhm, c-can we join your journey?" Gary ventured timidly.
"No dice; I can spare some rations at best. But I won't shoulder your safety or your sister's—I'm confident you can manage solo," Vritra stated resolutely.
"J-Just escort us a short distance; there's an army outpost nearby. We aimed for it originally but got stuck. Please, it's close and aligns with your path," Gary begged, dropping to his knees.
"Start by detailing all three locations," Vritra demanded, unmoved by sympathy.
This alien world demanded a tough resolve, lest a harsh lesson claim a life.
"O-Okay…" Gary agreed, sharing all he knew of the Wolves and Big Bang Colony.
His knowledge of the army site remained scant.
Butcher and the Wolves' head were close allies, both utter villains who tormented countless souls.
"If so, why hasn't anyone from that army outpost struck at them?" Fiona probed.
"Attempts were made, but they failed utterly," Gary answered.
"What powers do you possess?" Maeve inquired, hoping they weren't burdens.
"I-I… can render objects invisible, and my sister induces sleep in others," Gary disclosed.
"Take this—eat up," Vritra offered a food item, opting to deliberate before deciding.
He resolved to assault Big Bang Colony regardless.
Gary dashed back inside, dividing the food with his sister as they wolfed it down ravenously.
"Your thoughts?" Vritra asked the group.
"If the army site's nearby, bringing them along works. Their skills hold some value," Yasmine opined.
"He spoke truthfully, correct?" the goddess verified; caution reigned supreme in doomsday.
"Indeed, no deception—his pulse and responses confirmed it, all genuine or as he perceives," Vritra assured.
"Might he suffer mental manipulation?" Teresa speculated.
"Could be; wifey, probe him with a mild spiritual strike soon. It'll shatter any enchantment," he suggested.
Yasmine assented; errors could ill afford to cost them a comrade.
