Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill Chapter 629 Mutant Flood

Vritra and his companions ambushed the vengeful mutant Ron during his battle with a zombie, weakening him with coordinated abilities before Vritra delivered the fatal blow using Blood Manipulation, earning substantial Sin Points. Delighted with his gains, Vritra spun the Sin Wheel, acquiring attribute points and supplies that bolstered their strength. After a brief respite sharing meals, they confronted and defeated a formidable spider-like darkness mutant on the upper floor, then ascended to the terrace, only to witness a massive earthquake shaking the city as something enormous stirred beneath the ground, forcing Vritra to urgently evacuate his family amid collapsing buildings.

After hurling the group to the opposite side, Vritra leaped back swiftly while the structure kept collapsing.

The team touched down securely on the thick blanket of snow, yet that very building began to tremble fiercely.

"What's happening?" Vanessa questioned, gripping the wall tightly.

"Something lurks beneath the surface. This place could give way too—we have to descend now!"

Vritra warned, scanning the area where several frozen bodies lay.

"Fiona, Yenni, warm those up." He commanded.

Without delay, the two women summoned blazing flames that rapidly thawed the snow, revealing more than ten corpses submerged in the meltwater.

Vritra advanced, swiftly gathering the sin points before activating his blood manipulation ability.

{Sin Points: 388}

In an instant, blood surged from the corpses, weaving together into a sturdy, elongated rope.

He flung it across to the others and yelled, "Grab this and leap down—the building could crumble at any second."

Shitless and Onest descended first. Vritra had even fashioned grips along the rope, making it simple for them to cling on.

Fissures spread across the building, accompanied by several cries of alarm, though no one could intervene.

Once they hit the ground, the group bolted toward the clearer expanse.

Naturally, the massive disturbance drew the notice of numerous mutants.

Emerging from beneath the snow, from shattered structures, and from far-off roads, the mutants surged forth, charging wildly.

Survivors who had escaped other buildings were soon overwhelmed and ripped apart.

"Damn it!" Vritra glanced around and spotted a ladder ascending a towering ten-story edifice.

"Head there right away." He directed, veering their path. By then, plenty of mutants had locked onto them.

However, the ladder only reached the second level.

ROAARRRR

A thunderous bellow echoed, flinging numerous mutants aside.

Next, a massive rodent appeared, its coat razor-sharp like knives, with elongated legs boosting its speed.

In no time, hordes of mutants zeroed in on them, flooding toward their position.

Vritra, Yasmine, and the rest fired off strikes while fleeing, yet the onslaught of mutants swelled relentlessly.

They were merely a hundred meters or so from the ten-story building when it abruptly swayed side to side.

GRAARRRRR

With a thunderous crash, the building was yanked from its foundation as the colossal mutant emerged.

Since structures littered its route, it simply hurled a whole one out of the way.

The entire group froze, pulses racing. The mutant horde pressed from behind, while the enormous beast loomed ahead.

'Damn it all, a six-month advantage is an insane edge. What options do I have? What can we try?' He scanned frantically in panic.

"Husband, I can open a pit in the earth." Yennefer offered. After all, she wielded earth manipulation.

"Fine, dig it—make it as deep as possible. Hold back just enough power to seal it afterward." Vritra replied, then pulled out the 100-liter petrol from his earlier prize.

Stored in metal barrels, they were lined up tightly. Vritra slashed one open with his machete, allowing the fuel to spill out unchecked.

The enormous zombie spotted the mutant swarm and then the humans. Strangely, the frenzied mutants avoided devouring each other.

With a massive stride, it lumbered their way, as the mutant tide nearly overtook them.

"Dive in!" He bellowed, and all ten plunged into the pit, which measured about four meters deep, with Yennefer still extending it.

"Fiona, ignite it! Yenni, seal the entrance!" Vritra ordered while they descended further.

Yennefer concentrated, drawing the ceiling shut. Just before it fully closed, a fiery bird soared upward, climbing high before plummeting back.

Darkness enveloped their hideout, and the thunder of countless steps echoed overhead. The zombie wave had arrived above.

Silence hung briefly, and then…

BOOOOM!!

The earth quaked violently as a massive fireball erupted. Almost every mutant up top was shredded or incinerated.

The colossal mutant lost its arm and shoulder in the blast, reeling backward in a stumble.

Within the pit, the team braced against the collapsing roof as Yennefer guided them deeper.

She then carved out a spacious chamber to the side, where they entered and eased up slightly.

The opening sealed shut immediately. Yennefer collapsed in fatigue, her lovely features slick with perspiration.

{Sin Point Gained: Killed a Mutant +59}

{Sin Point Gained: Killed a Mutant +53}

{Sin Point Gained: Killed a Mutant +74}

A stream of notifications flashed before Vritra, leaving him stunned.

The others sensed a soothing heat coursing through them too.

Their stats surged rapidly. Yennefer regained a portion of her strength.

"Yenni, you okay?" Vritra caressed her face before pulling her into an embrace, their hearts still thumping hard.

"Yes… only slightly worn out. But did that monster perish as well?" she inquired. The behemoth had been truly terrifying.

"I don't think so; this blast probably isn't sufficient to finish it off." Vritra responded, though thrilled at the haul from this dire escape.

He reviewed the alerts, confirming no kill for the giant. It endured.

{Sin Points: 16,368}

[Stats]

(Strength: 16.1)

(Agility: 17.9)

(Endurance: 16)

(Spiritual: 9.2)

{Free Attribute: 0}

Vritra experienced the comforting surge through his frame, his attributes jumping sharply.

Only the spiritual stat lagged below 10, but the real prize was the flood of sin points.

After a brief pause, he declared, "Spend all sin points on 200 point lotteries."

BOOOM

ROAARRRRRR

Abruptly, a furious howl boomed from the surface. The giant mutant pounded the earth, desperate to crush them.

"Yenni, can you keep going?" he queried. Escape was urgent.

Yennefer affirmed with a nod, inhaling deeply before resuming. Her stats neared 10, easing the effort.

As the mystical wheel spun in his vision, alerts appeared in rapid succession.

Soon, all 81 prizes materialized, boosting Vritra's stats once more.

Beyond ample provisions, he claimed extra attribute points.

'2 in Strength, 4 Agility, 3 Endurance, 4 Spiritual, plus 3 Free—that's fantastic!' He thought excitedly, as all but the free ones integrated instantly.

Agility topped 20, Strength hit 17, yet he held off assigning the free points for the moment.

A refreshing chill filled his thoughts. Spiritual now exceeded 10.

Though its purpose remained unclear to him.

"HUFF. We're a safe distance now." Yennefer barely had energy left, breathing raggedly.

Vritra steadied her, his arm wrapping her waist.

"Thanks, Yenni." He smiled, handing her a water bottle.

They needed to surface once the giant departed.

GRRRRRR

The ground trembled anew…
