The Ford realm buzzed with extravagant preparations for a grand wedding, drawing thousands of guests from major organizations, including the Golden Moon with its enigmatic leader Oracle, all shielded from the harsh snowfall by invisible barriers. Sir Giant hoped to reconcile with Teresa during the event, while Vritra, dressed sharply, bid farewell to the evolving Maeve and gathered his wives—Fiona, Diana, Vanessa, Teresa, and Yasmine—for the journey, their mood tense with plans for vengeance against old foes. As their vehicles approached the illuminated venue, an unseen wave swept across the planet, triggering rapid mutations in spores and parasites: a dying dragonfly fused into a swarm that merged and fled, while a parasitic plant surged with life, unleashing screeches that heralded a profound transformation affecting all creatures.

When the vehicles came to a halt right outside the Fords' entrance, a bunch of servants rushed forward to greet the arrivals.

Spotting that it was Vritra along with a few companions, they promptly notified the family members inside.

It wasn't long before Shen and Sir Giant showed up at the doorway.

"Art, welcome." He greeted with a grin, clearly in high spirits.

Once everyone had stepped out of the cars, he scanned the group and inquired: "Didn't your parents join you, or any other folks from the Yate realm?"

"No, they were busy with other matters." Vritra answered flatly while signaling the servants to carry the presents indoors.

Standing next to him were Fiona, Diana, Vanessa, Teresa, and Yasmine, their presence drawing immediate stares from plenty of onlookers.

"Oh, that's fine, please step inside." Shen replied, still cautious around Vritra and keeping a safe gap.

As the group entered the venue, Vritra and his companions spotted numerous prominent individuals. Naturally, it was Fiona and Diana who highlighted them.

While escorting them in, Sir Giant had to break off to handle some guests.

"Here, we've set aside seats for you all. If anything's needed, just call for it." Shen said in a rush.

Vritra gave a nod and took a seat with his wives. Shitless and Onest were nearby too, positioned not far from him.

The pair appeared to be arguing over some issue.

Vritra ignored their squabble and fixed his eyes on a group of men farther off.

As anticipated, Oracle was present, accompanied by various other Golden Moon affiliates.

Big Guy was in attendance as well, having just scraped by in that previous conflict.

A handful of demons were detectable too. Naturally, at an occasion this grand, they'd make an appearance.

Whether driven by secret agendas or simply chasing chances.

Vritra kept surveying the area, and shortly after, he felt a twinge of surprise upon spotting an unexpected face.

It turned out to be Kryn, the head of Grieves, who'd somehow endured the war.

Aside from Sloth the demon, nearly all the key players from that event were assembled here.

Twilight members were on site too, though Vritra felt let down by Red's absence from the ceremony.

The former chief of the Bone Blood Cult, now disbanded and absorbed into Twilight.

'Han isn't around either; he vanished following that battle.' Vritra mused. Han served as the human emperor's guardian and harbored hidden feelings for Yennefer.

He resolved to handle them one by one. For the moment, his focus would stay on the Golden Moon and Kryn.

Various servers delivered an array of foods and beverages to the tables.

"Honey, when do we begin?" Yasmine questioned, a spark of murderous intent in her gaze. She was struggling to restrain herself from lashing out at Oracle.

"Not yet; allow the wedding to unfold." Vritra instructed, his eyes shifting to Oracle, who was chatting with Sir Giant.

After a brief pause, he chose to approach and converse.

"Stay put here, and if anyone attempts something foolish, feel free to eliminate them. It won't disrupt my strategy." Vritra declared as he rose and motioned to Shitless and Onest.

The trio moved toward a cluster that included several additional Golden Moon figures.

"Hello, you must be Oracle, the head of Golden Moon? I've heard plenty about you." Vritra cut into their discussion abruptly, drawing all gazes his way.

"Hmm, and who might you be?" Oracle eyed Vritra and quickly identified him as Teresa's spouse, though he feigned ignorance.

He was mildly taken aback by Vritra's bold demeanor and lack of fear in his presence.

'Haa, the Yate family is feeble. Is he relying so heavily on the Fords and Teresa?' Oracle pondered. He was aware of Vritra's capabilities but dismissed them as insignificant.

"This is Art Yate, my grandson-in-law." Sir Giant introduced swiftly. With his physique now taken by Vritra, his power had dropped sharply.

He also dreaded the possibility of Vritra clashing with the Golden Moon.

"W- Why don't you talk with…" Sir Giant started, but got cut off.

"I wouldn't have thought you'd show up at such a modest gathering amid the planet's dire straits, Golden Moon, heh." Vritra laughed lightly, and Shitless joined in.

"They're lounging here for fun while folks pray the Golden Moon will rescue them. I figured they were superior, but they're merely trash, worthless scum, dung-munchers—"

The monk kept ranting with more barbs, halting only when Sir Giant interjected.

"What are you on about, haha, he loves to jest like that." Then, in a hushed tone, he demanded: "Who exactly are you? How'd you sneak in?"

Yet Oracle stayed composed. He regarded Vritra and stated: "Regarding the crisis, we'll require Teresa's assistance to resolve it. I trust that's not an issue for you—though it hardly matters."

Before Vritra could respond, Shitless burst into laughter and jabbed a finger at Oracle.

"Forgot your diaper today? You're leaking all over! Hahaha."

Every gaze snapped to Oracle, and they were stunned to notice the damp trail, followed by a pungent odor.

"!!!" Oracle was utterly floored. Oddly, his lower region had been off since dawn.

But at this point, even he couldn't keep his cool. He shot a fierce look at Shitless and spun around, hurrying off.

"Eww, what's that nasty stench—don't say you crapped yourself too. The Golden Moon leader pissed himself, everyone, he pissed!!" Shitless yelled, jabbing in his direction.

Oracle truly wanted to crush that bald fool's skull, but he fled in haste, vanishing from view.

Had he no ulterior plans, he'd have abandoned the event after that embarrassment.

"Stop!" A Golden Moon Seat bellowed, looking ready to strike.

"Oh, and what then? Wet your trousers too?" Shitless cackled. With Vritra nearby, he feared nothing.

"You—" Right as a brawl seemed imminent, Sir Giant stepped in to halt it.

Though Vritra's focus shifted elsewhere.

Off in the distance, he observed guards encircling a young fellow.

A person Vritra knew right away.

'Jack!!' he thought in shock, discovering this individual in the most unlikely spot.

Rich was there as well, face twisted in fury. He appeared to be grilling Jack.

Vritra promptly strode over to the gathering and questioned: "What's going on, Rich?"

"Oh, Art… um, uncle, uh… we caught this intruder in our storage. He was pilfering items, and when pressed, he claimed he'd accessed a secret inheritance."

"Oh, are you Jack?" Vritra's mouth curved into a grin. Could things get any more perfect?

"You know me?" Jack blinked in surprise, then realized it made sense.

Given his rapid rise and heroic reputation, recognition was inevitable.

"Yes, of course—I know you quite well." Vritra affirmed, then turned to Rich and added: "He's harmless; just confiscate all his loot and let him go."

"… Alright." Rich agreed and directed the guards to frisk Jack.

Naturally, the aspiring hero resisted, his face burning with rage.

"Don't you dare lay a hand on me, or the whole Ford family will vanish!!" he warned fiercely.
