Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill Chapter 549 Submissive

After smoothing over a misunderstanding and exchanging rings with Teresa, Vritra prepares to depart the Ford palace with his bride. Despite Sir Giant’s adamant protests that leaving the safety of the Ford realm is too dangerous for Teresa, Vritra remains determined to take her with him, promising absolute protection. However, the debate is violently interrupted when a masked representative of the Golden Moon organization suddenly appears. Identifying himself as Smog, the intruder demands that Teresa be handed over, bringing the group face-to-face with an immediate threat.

"Are you Teresa Ford?" Smog demanded, squinting at the woman whose entire form was obscured by her attire.

"She won't be accompanying you," Sir Giant sighed. Despite his retirement, he understood the nature of Golden Moon too well to permit his granddaughter to be taken there.

"These are the Oracle's direct commands; I lack the authority to negotiate," Smog countered. Noticing how several figures shielded the woman, he was now positive she was Teresa.

"Bring the Oracle here if you must, but my granddaughter isn't going anywhere," Sir Giant declared with unwavering resolve.

'My current strength isn't enough to best Sir Giant, especially with so many other lords present. A different approach is required.'

After a brief moment of calculation, Smog decided to pressure Teresa herself.

"Teresa Ford, come with me peacefully or your kin will suffer the consequences. Given your status and unique abilities, a normal life is unfortunately beyond your reach. For the sake of your family, come and speak with the Oracle," Smog threatened.

"Oh? Is that a threat? That Oracle brat has certainly become arrogant. Begone, and tell him I shall pay him a visit personally very soon," Sir Giant roared, his voice trembling with fury.

Everyone knew of Teresa’s gentle heart; she lived to help others and abhorred causing pain.

Sending her there would result in a fate worse than death—either eternal servitude or a slow demise as they harvested her ability to absorb misfortune.

"You're misunderstanding—" Smog tried to persist, but a voice cut him off.

"You wish to take Teresa? Fine, take her. But how do you plan on transporting her?" Vritra asked, a question that left the entire room in a state of shock.

"What are you saying?" Shen yelled, his voice echoing.

"Think about it. We can't hope to oppose the Golden Moon or the Divine Kage. If we refuse to comply, both our lineages will be annihilated," Vritra replied, his eyes shifting toward one of the seats.

"A wise decision. You must be her husband. I've heard of your strength, and it seems you possess intellect as well. As for the journey, she can simply fly alongside me," Smog said, nodding in approval.

It finally seemed like the mission would be a success.

"No, that's impossible. Tess is physically fragile; do you truly expect her to fly such a distance? Furthermore, it would be disastrous if she accidentally made contact with anyone during the trip."

Vritra shook his head, feigning deep concern for her well-being.

"Then what is your proposal?" Smog inquired. He hadn't considered the logistics of the transport, having doubted he would even get this far.

Shen, Sir Giant, and Gunter all tried to intervene, but Vritra silenced them with a sharp gesture, refusing to let them speak.

"Rest easy, I will ensure my wife is handled correctly. I've already prepared a method," Vritra stated. He appeared to manifest a long, heavy chain from the very dust, transmuted into solid metal.

To the observers, it looked as though he had simply retrieved it from his spatial inventory.

He stepped forward and fastened one end of the chain around Teresa’s ankle while she watched in confusion. He then handed the other end to Smog.

"Use this. Fly at your maximum speed. With your power pulling her, she should be able to keep up," Vritra explained as Smog gripped the metal links.

Smog felt an inkling of suspicion, but he couldn't quite identify what was bothering him.

Nearby, Vanessa and the others were struggling to suppress their laughter as they witnessed the unfolding farce.

"What is the meaning of this? You were just bragging about protecting her! Now, at the first hint of trouble, you're just going to—"

Sir Giant lunged to grab the chain, but Vritra shoved him back effortlessly.

"Old man, quit your buzzing. Your battery is nearly empty as it is. It would be a shame if you passed away the day after our wedding, wouldn't it?" Vritra remarked before turning back to Smog.

"Why are you still here? Move now before they try to interfere. Go as fast as you can and don't stop until you reach your headquarters."

Overjoyed by his sudden luck, Smog didn't hesitate. He had completed a high-stakes mission with ease.

Infiltrating the Ford realm and successfully taking their daughter was supposed to be a suicidal task, yet he had triumphed.

Smog turned and soared into the sky with all his strength. Within heartbeats, he had breached the boundary of the Ford realm.

"Aaaaaaaaah! H- Help meeeee!"

The illusion shattered. Teresa was still standing exactly where she had been.

The chain had actually been fastened to someone else—Sakshi. She was being violently dragged along, her leg nearly being wrenched from its socket as her face collided with the earth.

She tried to claw at the ground to stop her momentum, but she only succeeded in mangling her fingers; she lacked the Cultivation strength to resist Smog’s pull.

Under the stunned gazes of the crowd, Sakshi was yanked out of the Ford realm, bouncing off the terrain and crashing into obstacles as she disappeared into the distance.

"Since that's settled, we'll be taking our leave," Vritra announced, returning to his spot and taking Teresa by the hand.

She was just as bewildered as the rest. Having not been under the influence of the illusion, she had seen exactly what her husband had done.

Contrary to the others' assumptions, he had shielded her once again.

"T- That!" Shen took flight immediately, desperate to rescue the woman being dragged away.

Her distant screams continued to echo, though her voice had already grown hoarse from the trauma.

Gunter, Ava, Fiona, and Diana climbed into the transport vehicles. Vritra’s women decided to travel as a group.

Vritra and Teresa remained outside, waiting for a separate vehicle.

Recovering from his stupor, Sir Giant turned to them. "You saw what happened. Now that her identity is public, the attempts to take her will only increase. She must stay here for her safety."

"Enough. Do you view her as nothing more than a tool to be locked away and exploited? If you obstruct me one more time, I will make you regret it," Vritra said, his expression turning cold and robotic.

"Let’s just go," Tess pleaded, tugging his sleeve to prevent a violent confrontation.

Vritra gently helped Teresa into the vehicle before moving to join her.

However, Sir Giant—driven by both genuine worry and the fear of losing the Ford family’s greatest asset—refused to back down.

"Regardless of your feelings, she will not leave this realm—"

His sentence was cut short as Vritra blurred, appearing instantly in front of the elder. A casual punch was thrown toward his chest.

The strike looked deceptively slow, yet it reached its mark before Sir Giant could react.

With no time to evade, Sir Giant poured his Qi into his defense.

His skin took on a stony, greyish hue as his muscles expanded.

BOOOOOOM!!

The moment the "light" punch connected, the elder's formidable defenses shattered like glass.

A massive hole was torn through his torso. The shockwave obliterated a large section of the palace behind them and sent Sir Giant’s body hurtling dozens of kilometers away.

Vritra had barely exerted himself; the power gap between a demi-god and a lord was simply insurmountable.
