Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill Chapter 534 The Stealer of Fate

Teresa stepped onto the metallic platform, her fingers interlaced tightly.
Because she was entirely concealed, discerning any details about her was impossible. Every gaze in the massive hall remained locked onto her figure.
A wave of disappointment washed over the crowd. Many attempted to probe her with their senses, yet no one was able to break through.
Eventually, Vritra found his own curiosity impossible to suppress. Eager to see just how hideous his bride truly was, he tried to peer through her veil.
However…
'What? Even I am unable to see through this? What kind of treasure possesses the power to block a demi god? Or perhaps this is the work of someone else…' he pondered. It was highly unlikely that the Ford family owned such a potent artifact.
It was doubtful the gods were shielding her, leaving only one possible entity responsible.
'Divine? Why go through all this trouble? Why is he so insistent on forcing me into this union?' Vritra mused while the priest began the instructions.
A tray glided through the air toward Teresa, carrying a glass of wine identical to the first.
No one dared to approach her. Even the priest maintained a distance of more than two hands' width.
Her drop of blood had already been mixed into the beverage. The priest then proceeded with the subsequent rituals.
"First, both of you shall bow to one another, promising to respect and cherish each other through both prosperity and hardship," the priest declared. As he spoke, he sprinkled a liquid in a circle around the pair, symbolically severing them from the rest of the world.
Vritra remained lost in his thoughts, offering only a slight tilt of his body before standing straight, whereas Teresa performed a deep bow of nearly forty degrees.
"Haa, look at that miserable boy. It's as if his soul has left his body. If that woman wasn't truly hideous, why would her own family keep her shrouded and stay so far away?"
"Indeed, she must be truly plagued or cursed."
Tiny and her mother were absent from the ceremony, as they were occupied with other urgent matters.
After all, the marriage trials for Tiny were set to commence shortly.
The priest paid no mind to Vritra’s half-hearted gesture and carried on.
As the ceremony unfolded, a sudden realization struck Vritra.
'Divine is exploiting Yenni as my weakness, but don't I have a move of my own…' His eyes fixed on his bride, and a smirk played on his lips.
"Heh haha." A light chuckle escaped him, leaving the audience to wonder if he had finally lost his mind.
'Divine, she is within my reach. You are using Yenni to manipulate me, and I refuse to be a mere puppet in your games. What if I simply snapped her neck? Would you remain silent then?'
Lifting his left arm, Vritra slowly reached out toward Teresa.
Sir Giant, Shen, Rich, and the others were shocked to see his hand moving toward her.
While they expected Vritra to be dissatisfied with the wedding, they never imagined he would actually try to harm her.
Everyone present knew that even a single touch could result in death or an even more gruesome fate.
They tensed immediately, and the hall was suddenly flooded with killing intent.
Shen was the nearest, having stood close by to safeguard his sister in case of a crisis.
In a flash, he appeared behind Vritra, launching a strike powerful enough to shatter an arm.
Vritra’s hand was halfway there, but someone else was more anxious than the Fords.
"Fine, stop, stop!" Divine’s frantic voice echoed.
Vritra wore a faint smile as his hand suddenly accelerated toward Teresa. Instead of attacking her, however, he snatched a knife just inches from her body.
The blade had been hurled by a member of the Ford family itself. Naturally, this had all been orchestrated by Vritra.
Psyche vanished silently from the shadow of the man, who now looked more terrified than anyone else in the room.
Bewildered by why his body had moved on its own, the man had indeed arrived with an agenda, though it wasn't to kill the bride.
He was a member of the Bone Blood Cult, and Vritra recognized him as just another clone of that bandaged man.
Vritra was not the type to be deceived by the same trick twice, regardless of how flawlessly it was executed.
A collective gasp filled the room as the knife was revealed. Shen panicked, forcing his own strike to a halt just before it made contact with Vritra’s arm.
For a brief moment, time seemed to stand still.
"Alright, speak. Is she also a piece of your grand design?" Vritra demanded, having frozen the flow of time.
"Haa, no, she isn't. For Yennefer’s sake, can't you just play along?" Divine asked, sounding defeated.
"Hah, no. You will explain everything to me clearly, and only then will I decide my next move," Vritra replied, spinning the knife playfully.
He was certain that if this woman mattered to Divine, there was no way he would allow her to be killed. He couldn't even catch a glimpse of her face. It was undeniably Divine’s doing.
"Fine. She is my… sister," Divine confessed. He required Vritra’s cooperation for the future, so maintaining a hostile relationship was unwise.
Furthermore, he had already sunk too much effort into him. He had no other choice.
"Your sister?" Vritra was genuinely taken aback. He then commanded, "Go on."
Suddenly, Vritra’s surroundings shifted, and he was once again witnessing the visions from when his new body was being forged.
It was the moment Divine had been summoned to this world.
Previously, Vritra couldn't see clearly, but now he saw that the young Divine was accompanied by two women.
He had two sisters.
While Divine was powerful, the talents his sisters held were far more formidable.
They had successfully navigated the trials even after the hero of that era had perished.
One of his sisters possessed the unique power to steal, modify, or entirely rewrite the threads of fate.
After finishing the trial, they were plunged into lethal games. Yet, as a trio, they continued to grow in strength.
Divine even shared a bond of friendship with the first mythic halo, the Halo of Creation. Though they weren't officially bonded, he was permitted to use its power.
Then, Vritra witnessed the moment Divine was struck down by that very mythic halo.
However, his sisters gave their lives to shield him.
One sister seized his fate and rewrote it before she passed away.
The second sister held two distinct abilities. One was a soul-type power that could turn any deceased soul into her loyal servant.
Her second ability was so catastrophic that, despite not being a god, she nearly brought one to its knees.
But that act of destruction cost the second sister her life as well.
'So, the first sister is Teresa?' Everything was finally clicking into place.
She was the Stealer of Fate, the witch.
'I feel like I've encountered that title before…' Vritra pondered.
As Divine had mentioned, he needed to seize the hero's fate from Jack, meaning her assistance would be vital.
'Oh, I remember now. I once acquired a crown that boosted my luck during those games.'
That specific treasure had enabled him to secure numerous rare skills and items.
Powers like Lost, Titan Fall, and others.
That crown had been crafted by the Witch, the Stealer of Fate.
