Paragon Of Sin Chapter 1987 Chapter 1979: Dao Force; Undefeated
Previously on Paragon Of Sin...
A massive, solitary Solar Star loomed over the Lower 44th Zone of the Inner Ascendant Battlefield of Order. Beneath its gargantuan shadow, the Creationists present were frozen in terror, their eyes pried wide by the claws of absolute despair. Their knees struck the earth as an insurmountable wall blocked the very path of their hearts and minds.
The Solar Star drenched those below in a translucent, misty glow. Within its warmth resided the faint, complex murmurs of esoteric wisdom and deep truths. Before its magnificent brilliance, ears began to bleed, tears flowed freely, and hands shook uncontrollably. The six massive Mystic Radiance Belts that coiled around the star rotated with a ferocity that echoed like thunderous explosions within the mind.
This singular Globe of Creation was built entirely upon the scholarly depth of cultivation and world-logic, pushed to the absolute peak allowed by the Ascendants Battlefield. While other Globes of Creation typically manifested between one and three Mystic Radiance Belts, this titanic entity, born of pure scholarly intellect, had produced SIX!
"..." Standing beneath his creation, Wei Wuyin stared up at its vast form. Despite its overwhelming presence, his face remained tight and grim, clouded by confusion. A sequence of events that had utterly broken the Soldiers and Commanders of this battlefield elicited only this perplexed reaction from the man who caused it!
The reason for his mood?
For the first time, Wei Wuyin had received an objective validation of his own cultivation progress and knowledge. His journey through cultivation had been nothing short of heaven-defying. He had always been obsessed with moving forward, viewing the light of those more powerful as a looming Hell while the Heavenly Daos pulled at him from all sides. Consequently, he had never paused to verify the true depth of his own understanding.
Throughout his cultivation, he had observed the River of Time, survived a lethal confrontation with the World, manipulated karmic bonds and the grand designs of the Heavenly Daos, and even seized the Samsara of Stars. He had tirelessly advanced his alchemic skill, invented new arts and spells—a craft for which he possessed a natural genius—and repeatedly forged a peerless foundation. Yet, he had never sat down to systematically categorize his own wisdom.
It was unsettling how easily he had solved the Globe of Creation’s challenges. Whether it was improving spells and arts, theorizing cultivation paths, designing complex formations and arrays, or simulating various scenarios through blank models, everything felt effortless.
IT WAS RIDICULOUSLY EASY!
Even though Magus had intended to go all out, the level of knowledge required was no more difficult than basic math to a seasoned professor. It reached a point where Magus felt it was beneath him to intervene, leaving the trials for Wei Wuyin to settle alone. This unstoppable Globe of Creation was the product of his individual effort!
His grimace stemmed from the realization of this massive disparity in knowledge. Tests that would baffle Mystic Overlords felt intuitive to him. It was as if he already possessed a complete grasp of the Mystic Ascendant Realm, rivaling or even surpassing a cultivator of the Resonant Soul Realm!
"I always thought our power came from all of you. I saw myself as just the pilot reaping the rewards of your hard work," Wei Wuyin sighed softly. "But I see now that without an intimate understanding of your foundations and your daos, I would be like a child trying to sail a ship on the high seas—completely lost. Haha!" Upon this realization, an invisible burden vanished from his Heart of Cultivation. He hadn't even known it was there, a hidden strain that had been festering like a seed of corruption. Only if he had stopped to rest might it have grown into a tree of ruin.
While the Inner Ascendant Battlefield descended into chaotic terror, Wei Wuyin decided to test a new theory. With a single thought, he silenced his five Mystic Souls. Their power, essence, mystic energy, and spiritual presence were suddenly beyond his reach. In this state, he closed his eyes to examine his own being.
Element.
Little Defiant.
Athena.
He could still hear the faint hum of their existence, watchful and ready.
Inside his body and surrounding his soul, seven Laws resonated with a celestial melody, signaling a higher authority over the worldly domains: Origin, Saber, Imperial, Annihilation, Space, Time, and War. They shifted according to his will, inseparable and profound.
As his will moved, their core traits infused his very being, merging with his flesh and blood—Intent.
Saber Intent saturated his muscles, organs, and even his breath, giving his gaze and movements a lethal sharpness. It carried the dual desire to protect and to destroy, ending all things with one strike.
Elemental Origin Intent harmonized with the world outside, shifting with his emotions. It could summon storms in his anger or nurture life in his calm. Every element of the world was gathered under a single will, manifested through infinite variations.
He felt how they moved within him, how they reached beyond his heart, and how they connected to the deepest parts of the world and the void. This miraculous sensation defined his identity as a cultivator.
Suddenly, he remembered the World. It possessed an incomprehensible will and an all-encompassing force. Was Intent merely an imitation of that entity? Were cultivators simply following its lead when they developed Intent? The thought was brief, yet it anchored itself in his soul.
This was a moment of hidden enlightenment, a flash of insight available only to those who had felt the World's indescribable pressure. Like building a ladder of knowledge in his mind, he felt a natural evolution of understanding.
The stage AFTER Void Soul Intent.
Seed Intent.
Awakened Intent.
Heart of the World, World of the Intent.
Soul of the Void, Void of the Soul Intent.
Force of the Dao, Dao of the Force Intent!
DAO FORCE INTENT!
Wei Wuyin’s mind was flooded with a grand insight that transcended his current realm, yet aligned perfectly with his history. To use one's will to draw power from the various daos—the concept was divine!
As his discovery concluded, the final remnants of resistance vanished. The opposition sought to negotiate, broadcasting their formal surrender across the three thousand zones, desperate to ensure he saw the message.
His link with his Mystic Souls returned. They had gone quiet on purpose, sensing that Wei Wuyin needed to grasp a profound truth that had previously escaped him. With a clear vision of the path ahead, his cultivation road was now brightly lit. He only had to keep walking.
Watching another display of peerless talent, Tilly was stunned. This was especially true now that Wei Wuyin had shifted his victory method from Alchemy to Scholarly Knowledge across multiple Ways of Creation. It revealed a new facet of the man to her.
Wei Wuyin spent time harvesting every benefit from the defeated factions, mimicking his aggressive collection of data from the Inner and Outer Stellar Battlefields. No one refused him, particularly after he distributed oath-dissolving potions to clear any prior restrictions. Faced with certain death or the loss of their heritage and secrets, they chose to submit, even if they might have resisted back in their home worlds.
A massive amount of knowledge was gathered, and Wei Wuyin tasked Magus with organizing it before sending it to Xue Yifei for the empire's elites. Hundreds of thousands of years of technological progress—Skyships, Void Vessels, Blessed Grounds, and new materials—were seized in an instant, skyrocketing the Neo-Dawn Empire's societal level.
Digesting it all would take time, but with Neo-Dawn Vortex-Zone Pellets, the empire could develop talent and study this knowledge without draining their core resources. This would undoubtedly trigger an explosion of growth.
He trusted Xue Yifei to maintain a stable foundation, ensuring that power and technology remained balanced and that rewards were only given for merit. He had no interest in raising "greenhouse flowers" within his empire.
"You intend to enter the Ascendant Battlefield of War next?" Tilly asked, her eyes blinking in surprise. Wei Wuyin had already conquered the Battlefields of Order with alchemy and intellect. This would be their first foray into the Battlefield of War, where the most powerful Mystic Ascendants of the galactic cluster gathered.
Wei Wuyin smiled and nodded. "Let's go."
Tilly quickly activated the spatial array. In moments, they departed the Inner Ascendant Battlefield of Order, leaving behind an undefeated legacy.
Outer Ascendant Battlefield of War.
The pair arrived in a zone designated as a headquarters for the war effort. While no place here was truly "safe" from sieges or assaults, this landing point was where the largest concentration of soldiers and commanders could be found.
As they landed under Wei Wuyin's speed, the pungent scent of blood and death filled the air, stinging their senses.
"HUA!" Tilly gasped, her voice full of horror.
Stretching out before them was a literal field of corpses.
Bodies covered the ground as far as the eye could see.
