Paragon Of Sin Chapter 1984 Chapter 1976: Maximum Extraction; Finding Leads
Previously on Paragon Of Sin...
The result was already decided. Facing nearly three thousand zones, the Globe of Creation stood unyielding, clashing arrogantly and fearlessly against the various Ways of Creation belonging to those within the Battlefield without retreating a single inch.
Through relentless exertion and layers of bolstered effort, an undeniable truth settled into the souls of countless Creationists. These were the elite of their craft, geniuses who had bared their fangs against rivals and honed their skills within the suppressive environment of the Battlefield while risking their lives. They were certainly no small fry.
"After nine days..." A middle-aged Forger, a genius whose skills rivaled a Senior Earthly Saint Alchemist, collapsed to his knees. His cultivation base was entirely drained, his hands were worn down nearly to the bone, and his eyes bled profusely from the strain of executing high-level ocular spiritual spells. These past few days had been the pinnacle of his life; he had collaborated with a group of top-tier talents to craft a Mystic-World grade Armament. Even though its rank was considered low, the fact they had completed it was a magnificent testament to their skill. However, none of that mattered now, as the Creation Value of Wei Wuyin's Globe of Creation utterly demolished all hope.
Was death their only destiny?!
Meanwhile, the Moderators stayed silent and vague, refusing to provide any details about this new threat that challenged the entire Outer Stellar Battlefield of Order and drove everyone toward the abyss of despair! It was unreasonable! It was infuriating! IT WAS OUTRAGEOUS!!
Hot tears streamed from the eyes of the young, the middle-aged, and the elderly alike. Knees struck the ground. Apologies were whispered to comrades, friends, and family. They were forced to bask in the unrivaled radiance of the Globe of Creation. Their Towers of Selene were severely affected, showing faint cracks and trembling non-stop.
Eventually, a single word took root in their hearts like a seed of hope: "Surrender." The third phase would unleash catastrophic Chaos Descents upon them, and their lives would be forfeit due to the staggering Creation Value. Meetings were convened by the leaders of various zones, regions, and factions, all focused on a solitary topic: Survival.
Wei Wuyin stood at the entrance of his residence, watching the massive Globe of Creation hanging in the sky, suppressing every other light of creation that dared to oppose it. A smile played on his lips as he toyed with his Identity Rune between his fingers.
Vuuff!
In contrast to the Inner Stellar Battlefield of Order, the Outer Stellar Battlefield had resisted stubbornly for the full nine days. Only when they reached the edge of total impossibility did they finally send out messages of surrender.
"Extracting true secrets from these people will be difficult; they are surely restricted by Spirit Oaths," Wei Wuyin remarked with a cheeky laugh. He checked a portion of his Primordial Expanse, which was loaded with oath-seed-dissolving potions. He had prepared extensively to harvest this knowledge. If he could manage it, he intended to force these Blessed to hand over their arts, spells, and cultivation methods of fortune, along with their insights on how to cultivate them.
The seven-colored crystals he used before were his own invention, allowing them to infuse their memories, direct insights, and even experiences into the stones. The process was much faster and easier if they cooperated voluntarily. Since these cultivators did not practice the Neo-Dawn Visualization Method, he had to rely on this method to simplify things.
Recently, after Magus established a connection with Kratos, he had been deciphering the truth behind Kratos' habit of speaking incomprehensible nonsense masked by draconic roars and boasts. The fifth Spirit of Cultivation and former Second Mind was now deep in research.
The Enlightened Everlasting Mystic Power it controlled was incredibly profound, truly linked to the Mind Dao while also possessing qualities of the everlasting—a lesser form of eternity. The Library of Eden served as a direct manifestation of its immortal quest for knowledge, forming its Mystic Form. Lately, it had been a hive of activity, overflowing with Enlightened Scholarly Mist.
Once the conclusion was reached, it ceased its obsessive calculations and prepared to absorb the knowledge of these elites. However, it still refused to utter a single word.
Events proceeded as they had before. The lower-staged Ascended and high-tier Mortals of the galactic cluster gathered for a meeting. When Wei Wuyin arrived, he revealed his identity without any deception. Answers were provided instantly as looks of realization filled the room.
A Heavenly Saint Alchemist!
What was a Heavenly Saint Alchemist doing here?!
However, some from the Utmost Purity Galaxy region were able to resolve many doubts. It was rumored that the Neo-Dawn Alchemic Saint was a Heavenly Saint Alchemist possessing the body of a lower-stage Mystic Ascendant Realm. Some suspected he had possessed a body. A few believed in his unrivaled talent. Most, however, thought of legends regarding reincarnation and rebuilding one's cultivation base with renewed vitality.
Unlike the path of Su Yi, if Wei Wuyin was the reincarnation of an Exalted Worldly Saint Alchemist on the cusp of becoming a Heavenly Saint Alchemist with millions of years of experience, then his victory was inevitable. Somehow, this thought comforted their troubled hearts and stabilized their Hearts of Cultivation.
Still, his demands were extreme. He was met with immediate pushback as people cited loyalty and oaths. Some even had the audacity to question Wei Wuyin's bold actions, suggesting that other galaxies would not appreciate their lineages being spread so freely. Ultimately, these voices were suppressed and disregarded.
The insights of these elite Creationists, forged through hardship and strict limitations, were the purest kind. They were free of external influences and were the results of genuine talent, constant testing, and sincere study. He was determined not to miss out on this. Consequently, he spent the following hours quickly cementing his authority, offering War Souls as compensation to those who shared special arts or insights.
They quickly gave in to temptation after Wei Wuyin provided oath-seed-dissolving potions, plenty of War Souls, and the promise of accepting their surrender without further consequences, allowing them to avoid the disaster of a Chaos Descent. The negotiation phase preceding the Siege Phase was handled with practiced skill.
It only took Wei Wuyin three days to extract the maximum benefits from everyone in the Outer Stellar Battlefield of Order. Magus happily received the data, organizing it all meticulously.
Just as Wei Wuyin was about to claim his merit, he received a pulsing mental message that conveyed meaning rather than words, causing his expression to shift dramatically. "Is that so?" As he explored the sensation, he shared the message with the Bai Xius.
The two young women were lazily drinking Utmost Purity Liquid, relaxing in total bliss. This was the life! Especially because Wei Wuyin kept providing more for them to consume without them even asking. Since they were divided into seven forms, consuming the Utmost Purity Mist or Liquid not only kept them alive but allowed them both to gain Independent Spirit of Dao forms.
"Bai Xiu, tell me what you think." Wei Wuyin relayed Magus' message, and the lounging Bai Xiu immediately bolted upright. "That's... that is another version of me!"
She instantly recognized the unique insights of her specific Alchemic Dao, including specialized spells that only she and her sisters practiced.
"Where did this come from?" Bai Xiu asked with urgency. Having found comfort with her sister, she wanted nothing more than to locate the others. It wasn't just for the Immortal-Rank Alchemical Product their combined forms would likely create, but because they were out there, probably struggling to survive while she lived in luxury.
It was no different than being a billionaire and knowing your family was scavenging for food. How could she not want to find them?!
Before Wei Wuyin could respond, Magus sent another mental pulse. Again, it was a feeling rather than words. It described the same situation: evidence of yet another Bai Xiu. It was faint, but the spell used was a nearly direct derivative of one of Bai Xiu's unique techniques.
Two of them...
Given that the Outer Battlefield spanned the entire galactic cluster, finding traces of two others through the insights of disciples who learned from masters, organizations, or ancient legacies wasn't that far-fetched.
"The Severing Core Pavilion of the Prosperous Ruin Galaxy and the Sword Pill Sect of the Buried Sword Galaxy," Wei Wuyin's eyes narrowed as he added, "It appears the Cauldron for the Severing Core Pavilion is likely in the Ascendant Battlefield of Order. Excellent. This makes things easier."
Bai Xiu was almost jumping with excitement, while her more reserved sister stuffed her mouth with a fresh cloud of Utmost Purity Mist, her eyes sparkling with joy.
Wei Wuyin ended the war with a ceasefire. Afterward, he took Tilly and Mu Yura to the stage for claiming merits. He encouraged Mu Yura to properly process her gains back in the empire and to seek out Xue Yifei upon her return. After bravely choosing to follow him in his challenge against the entire Outer Stellar Battlefield of Order, she had earned a massive amount of War Souls. He had no intention of taking what she earned and told her that Xue Yifei would offer fair trades and help her rise within the Hepta-Dawn Alchemic Corps.
It was her decision whether to keep the War Souls, trade them before departing, or give them to the empire.
Mu Yura felt a bit intimidated at the thought of Xue Yifei, but she agreed to consider the option.
Wei Wuyin could only chuckle at her nervousness.
"Can you enter the Ascendant Battlefield?" he asked Tilly. She was an Entry Moderator, but her cultivation level was quite low. She clearly wanted to see how far Wei Wuyin would go and proudly announced she would serve as his Entry Moderator until he left.
"Excellent. We haven't experimented with every position yet," he teased as they disappeared from the battlefield. They left behind a growing legend of the Neo-Dawn Alchemic Saint conquering one battlefield after another. As for the Nexus Battlefield, that was avoided entirely.
Once the Nexus Battlefield was finished, one was forced to leave. If he entered it now, he would only gain the right to return after becoming an Earthly Saint. Since he wanted to maximize his rewards as a lower-stage cultivator through the merit system, he couldn't let that happen.
After all, his ultimate destination was the Galactic Battlefield!
