Paragon Of Sin Chapter 1980 Chapter 1972: Outer Domination (1)

Previously on Paragon Of Sin...
Wei Wuyin analyzed a Mote of Heaven left by Wen Mingna, discovering it contained principles of the Law of Time and could reveal the Heavenly Daos' intentions for Blessed. He realized she was siphoning San Yongli's fortune. Wei Wuyin considered using the Mote to improve his Heaven's Gate or aid his Spirits of Dao, but ultimately fed it to Element, his Nascent Saber Soul, leading to an intense burst of energy. The Spirits of Dao, meanwhile, were suspiciously silent about the Mote.

As the Mote of Heaven was being processed, Element slipped into a deep state of growth-induced hibernation. Knowing this transformation would exceed four hours, Wei Wuyin chose to spend his remaining time with Tilly once more. Within their isolated spatial bubble, the air vibrated with the echoes of her blissful, melodic cries.

The Outer Stellar Battlefield of Order.

This vast territory was dotted with various residences, ranging from solitary palaces to sprawling metropolitan centers. There were even artificial mountain ranges housing caves that seemed plucked from ancient immortal legends, all adorned with breathtaking scenery that felt out of place on a savage battlefield defined by conflict and slaughter. It was a mask of manufactured beauty hiding a grim reality.

The entire region felt opulent and teeming with life. Upon his arrival, Wei Wuyin felt as though he had stepped onto a vibrant planet populated by cultivators. The only jarring differences were the lingering, indelible scent of iron-rich blood and the faint, ghostly whistling of deathly wails carried on the wind.

"Is this truly the Outer Battlefield?" Wei Wuyin asked. Beside him, Tilly was hurriedly adjusting her clothes and smoothing her messy hair, pulling it back into a tight ponytail while pressing her lips together. She shot Wei Wuyin a look filled with both suspicion and a touch of envy. Even after their intense session—which had left her in a daze of pleasure—the man appeared completely unbothered and perfectly composed, a feat made more impressive by the fact that they had shared their bed with two others not long ago.

She eventually scanned the highly developed area and nodded. "This specific access point of the Outer Battlefield is controlled by the Utmost Purity Galaxy. Because of that, the population consists mostly of Alchemists. However, their way of life is... unique. Furthermore, they are incredibly dominant."

"Dominant?" Wei Wuyin mused. He understood that while Inner Battlefields were usually restricted to stellar regions, Outer Battlefields encompassed entire galaxies. This was one of the zones belonging to the Utmost Purity Galaxy. Such arrangements were common, as Greater Galaxies often expanded by absorbing smaller galaxies in their entirety.

Galactic Clusters were originally composed of thousands of individual galaxies. However, systematic colonization by cultivators had caused these clusters to condense over time. A Mystic Overlord was more than capable of ruling a small galaxy. Given their mastery over the Ways of Mysticism, high-level cultivators of the Mystic Ascendant Realm were essentially divine beings.

The Utmost Purity Galaxy itself was a marvel—hundreds of galaxies merged into a single entity through miraculous means. This wasn't done for vanity, but as a strategic effort to raise the environmental grade and stabilize the local space, thereby increasing the galaxy's growth potential and the quality of its celestial bodies.

A standard galaxy would undoubtedly crumble under the presence of a single Dominion. Furthermore, the mere release of a Supreme Sage’s aura could destabilize an entire celestial system in an instant. Even the simple act of cultivation—refining a single speck of Resonant Qi of the Heavens—might drain the essence of an ordinary galaxy completely.

Due to these requirements, powerful cultivators focused on expanding and merging their homes through specialized celestial-formation arts. Some experts at the Resonant Soul Realm, and even Mystic Overlords, established their own Starfields, Stellar Regions, or proto-galaxies within Secret Realms or World Realms. That mysterious woman had, in a fit of rage, recently wiped one such World Realm out of existence.

Despite these advancements, the endless Dark Void remained uninhabitable. This left massive stretches of Void-Blank Space between galaxies, requiring anywhere from months to millennia to cross depending on one's cultivation level. The void was simply too vast and devoid of celestial matter.

Consequently, the 3,000 Outer Zones representing various global regions were all claimed by the thirty-three galaxies. In truth, the primary reason the galactic cluster involved all thirty-three galaxies was due to these very Battlefield access points. These 3,000 Zones covered every known galaxy in the cluster. While there were many more Outer Stellar Access Formations than zones, the number of active Zones remained fixed at 3,000.

It was an interesting dynamic...

"Hold on..." Wei Wuyin paused, looking up at the Globes of Creation. They appeared larger and more radiant than before, though there were fewer of them. He understood that the Outer Battlefields provided superior War Souls, but the risks were proportionally higher. The physical dimensions of the Battlefield remained the same.

He turned to Tilly, the Entry Moderator. "Which Galaxy do you come from?" he asked, his voice carrying a curious tone.

Tilly Winehart replied instantly, "I was born right here."

"Inside the Battlefield?" Wei Wuyin was taken aback. Seeing her casual demeanor, he realized this wasn't a guarded secret.

She nodded, finishing her hair and stretching her limbs after her "work" was done. "Every Moderator, Envoy, and Overseer is a native here. Being born here is a requirement to operate the local formations and arrays," she explained, checking the back of her hand to confirm their coordinates.

Wei Wuyin had seen her do this earlier. Curious, he extended his Spiritual Sense toward her hand. "Oh?" He detected shifting runic symbols saturated with Spiritual Divine Mist. As a cultivator who had reached the Divine State in five Spirits of Cultivations and held Kratos’s Primordial Divine Mist, he was one of the few capable of seeing such mist without needing the Celestial Eyes of Spiritual Divinity.

The runes belonged to an obscure script. However, it took only a moment for him to decode them, as his Magi Royalty Bloodline granted him an instinctive mastery over all languages. The text read:

[Location: Selene Realm, Upper Luminescence Zone]

[Entry Requests: Zero]

She looked toward the distant towers, which were bathed in a soft, silvery-blue glow. "This is the Upper Luminescent Zone, and those are the Towers of Selene. The Inner and Outer Battlefields follow similar rules, but the Chaos Descents here are much more lethal, and gathering Creation Value is significantly harder. The primary distinction is the caliber of the combatants."

Wei Wuyin let her continue her explanation. When she finished, he asked, "Why wouldn't Creationists just stay in the Lower Zones or the Inner Battlefield? It seems like a much easier way to farm War Souls." He began walking toward the Tower of Selene for this specific zone.

"Three reasons," she said, holding up three fingers as she kept pace. "First: You are only allowed to enter the Battlefield once as a Soldier and once as a Commander. Second: Once your Merit reaches a certain threshold in either role, you are given a short window to move to the Outer or Nexus Battlefield, or face Expulsion. And third: The Quality of the War Souls."

"Quality?" Wei Wuyin had gathered most of his War Souls during his previous stint in the Nexus Stellar Battlefield. He had assumed those were of the highest grade.

Tilly explained further, "War Souls come in Gaia, Selene, and Eros qualities, which significantly impacts their use in cultivation. While they are all technically stellar-grade in terms of value, the second reason is why most people end up in the Outer Battlefield. Even though Creation Value is harder to get here, every point is worth triple what you'd earn in the Inner Battlefields."

"Understood," Wei Wuyin noted, gazing at the shimmering Tower of Selene. He soon reached the familiar wall of chaos.

Tilly’s heart began to race once more. "A-again?" she stammered.

Wei Wuyin chuckled, pressing his hand against the wall with the Identity Rune held between his fingers. He looked back at Tilly, whose eyes were wide with a mix of anxiety and excitement. "Back in my home, there was a term we used as children regarding the Foundation Establishment Realm. It referred to kids who would sprint through the process at maximum speed, using shortcuts to get the same results in a fraction of the time. It was usually a luxury for the children of rich clans. In my city, I was something of a little tyrant myself."

"Really?" Tilly’s eyes sparkled with even more intensity.

"We called it 'Speedrunning'! And that is exactly what I intend to do here."

"Speedrun the Battlefield?" Her breathing grew heavy and rapid.

"Hahaha! I HEREBY DECLARE A WAR OF CREATION! AGAINST EVERY OTHER ZONE!!!"
