Minutes later, Rebecca emerged in a stunning blue cocktail dress that accentuated her figure far beyond what her everyday snug school uniform ever did.
Her flowing black hair hung loosely, tumbling well beyond her shoulders.
"Sorry to make you wait," Rebecca said apologetically to Oliver while approaching the spot where he and Emma sat.
Oliver rose to his feet and took in Rebecca's stunning looks, scanning her from head to toe.
"Hmmm... Nice." He complimented her. "Come on, let's head to a better spot."
"Okay," she responded while he tugged her forward, exiting the apartment with Emma trailing along.
Upon leaving the building and arriving at the parking lot where Oliver had parked his vehicle, Rebecca halted abruptly, gazing in amazement at his sleek luxury sports car.
"Is this your car?" She inquired with curiosity.
"It is. Now you've landed a sugar daddy ready to give you whatever you desire... I expect you'll find a way to return the kindness." Oliver answered teasingly.
Rebecca gaped at him in shock before her cheeks flushed deeply. "W-What!? Sugar daddy!? Since when did I agree to that!?!"
"It doesn't matter. Anyway, let's head out..." Oliver kept grinning and drew Rebecca by the hand, settling her into the rear seat beside Emma before sliding into the driver's seat and speeding away.
On the drive, Rebecca found herself sneaking peeks at Oliver now and then from her position.
She felt puzzled by the current circumstances, especially since one of her teachers was accompanying them too.
Actually, the most recent memory she had of enjoying herself and being in pleasant company dated back to outings with her parents.
Yet that was nearly a year prior, back when finances allowed for family outings to mark birthdays and anniversaries.
At present, observing the vehicle and the attractive young fellow who promised to cover her dad's medical bills while whisking them off for a festive evening, she brimmed with sincere appreciation and delight for his presence in her world.
Absent Oliver's support, she likely would have quit school to work as a server merely to survive, forgoing her studies and any prospects ahead.
Over the recent months, the sole activity bringing her joy was venturing out for workouts—at least it distracted her thoughts from troubles.
Still, even that failed to soothe her worries, as her mom constantly fretted over finances.
Thus, with fortunes finally shifting for the better, she sensed tears welling up once more—this time from overwhelming happiness and thankfulness for the dashing youth.
Noticing the moisture gathering at the edges of her eyes via the rearview mirror, Oliver addressed her sternly. "Hey now, I didn't bring you out today for tears. Remember what I said earlier? This is for celebrating! You've cried plenty today already... unless I'm mistaken?"
Rebecca sniffled, then grinned, brushing away her tears. "Yes, you're right. I'm sorry, it's just that..." She hesitated, nibbling her lower lip. "Never mind. Thank you so much."
"Good, let's put all those gloomy ideas aside." Oliver agreed with a nod while they continued driving.
When they arrived at the eatery, Rebecca let out a sharp intake of breath upon beholding its opulent size.
This was undoubtedly a five-star establishment right in the city's core, adorned with exquisite ornaments throughout the structure and boasting an imposing entryway.
Plenty of patrons streamed in and out of the venue, yet not a single one appeared unkempt—everyone sported elegant attire and exuded affluence.
Emma herself was somewhat stunned by the edifice's grandeur.
Her previous dining experience had been at a simple spot aimed at average folks.
She had never visited such an imposing restaurant before.
That said, her surprise didn't overwhelm her composure.
As a seasoned lady, Emma quickly regained her poise, stepped out of the vehicle, adjusted her outfit, and positioned herself next to Oliver.
Rebecca drew in a steadying breath to steady her nerves before trailing after Oliver, as a valet whisked away his car for parking.
At the front desk, Oliver stated his name, prompting the receptionist to beam warmly.
"Ah, yes, welcome to our Grand Royal Restaurant, sir. Please follow me; your private dining room is ready." The receptionist inclined her head to Oliver before leading them to a rear elevator.
Entering the lift, the receptionist selected the eleventh-floor button, sealing the doors.
Shortly after, the elevator rose, and upon arriving at the floor, the panels parted once more, letting the trio exit.
The area lived up to its splendor, with a server coming forward to escort them to the reserved space.
Rebecca remained mesmerized by the extravagant decor—even the fixtures appeared to twinkle!
Upon arriving at the dining area, the server motioned invitingly and swung the doors wide.
The interior featured a vast chamber with expansive panes overlooking the urban panorama below.
At its heart stood a broad circular table encircled by plush seating.
Here, the illumination was softer compared to the exterior, fostering an inviting and serene vibe.
Nevertheless, the pair of alluring females in provocative attire chatting by a nearby partition captured Oliver's focus above all.
Catching his stare, they shifted their regard to him, their faces instantly lighting up like they'd spotted a coveted prize.
One donned a scarlet chiffon gown that bared her bust and barely extended past her hips. The ensemble artfully showcased her voluptuous form.
The companion opted for a form-fitting ebony dress, its deep cut exposing her spine, and a lateral split displaying her sleek, smooth thighs.
Even so, both retained an air of sophistication fitting for such a venue.
Oliver's gaze sparkled upon viewing the duo of stunners.
Yet they made no move to approach or speak. Rather, they pretended he was invisible, picking up their chat and disregarding him completely.
Oliver arched a brow, interpreting it as a dare.
Thus, he clasped Emma's hand and moved toward his acquaintances at the table, Rebecca coming after.
Brenda and Sarah beamed as Oliver led Rebecca and Emma over.
"Ah, you've arrived. Wonderful." Brenda said softly, eyeing Rebecca. "I heard about your difficulties, but I'm happy you're joining our celebration. Congrats on your graduation, Rebecca!"
Sarah chimed in, rising to welcome Rebecca. "Yes, it's wonderful having you here! You know, I can't thank you enough for the help you gave me during my tough times."
Rebecca warmed to the enthusiastic reception from her peers.
Though they hadn't been particularly tight-knit initially, Rebecca had consistently aided fellow students when sought. Hence, their cordial exchange with her eased her into greater ease than earlier.
"Thank you, Brenda and Sarah. I'm thrilled to join the celebration too." Rebecca answered smilingly. "And no need to thank me. I'm glad to assist whenever possible."
