My Beast Is the 12-Winged Angel Chapter 473 - 474: Siblings Reunited!

Upon hearing Feng Ni’s declaration, Gu Xing offered her another deep bow.
Regardless of the circumstances, the fact that Feng Ni was willing to assist represented the most significant support the Human Race could receive. Consequently, he treated her with the highest level of reverence.
However, Feng Ni wasn't finished speaking. "Since we have committed to moving against the Demon God, we ought to improve our odds of success," she remarked.
Her eyes drifted toward the Guardian Beasts standing behind Gu Xing.
“Among those following you...” she began, “That Angel and the member of the Ghost Race have already claimed a Divine Position, haven't they?”
Even though Gu Xing had instructed his two Guardian Beasts to fully suppress their auras as world rulers, it was impossible to deceive Feng Ni. She had lived for tens of thousands of years and possessed keen insight. Of course, Gu Xing had no intention of keeping it a secret.
“That is correct,” he admitted.
Feng Ni nodded slowly at his confirmation. “There are only two paths to securing a Divine Position: one must either seize control of an entire world or receive it as an inheritance from a supreme being. It appears your Guardian Beasts followed the first path.”
As she spoke, a hint of emotion colored her voice. Back when she was merely a Spiritual Beast, she had scoured the lands for any trace of a Divine Position. She had even made an attempt to dominate the entire Alternate Space. Ultimately, however, she had failed completely.
Later, her breakthrough to the Pseudo-God level was tainted by Demonic Qi, which permanently disqualified her from ever holding a Divine Position. Now, as she looked at these two positions—no, three!
She fixed her gaze on Gu Xing. This human had been the very first to claim a Divine Position. Seeing him in possession of three such honors, even she felt a flicker of jealousy. She was once hailed as a Spiritual Beast blessed by heaven and earth, yet compared to this human, she felt insignificant.
Gu Xing felt a sense of confusion as Feng Ni continued to dwell on the topic of Divine Positions. Then, she asked, “Have you considered allowing your Elf to obtain a Divine Position as well?”
Following her gaze, Gu Xing looked at Vera. Naturally, he desired for Vera to ascend to such a rank. The problem was that there were no worlds left to conquer. He had initially hoped the Elf Clan’s Secret Realm might suffice, but Vera had clarified that it wasn't a complete world. Furthermore, unlike the Angel Race or the Ghost Race, the Elves did not possess another realm to rule. Even if Gu Xing wanted it for her, there seemed to be no path forward.
He explained these obstacles to Feng Ni, but she simply shook her head.
“You’ve misunderstood my meaning,” Feng Ni countered. “I’m not suggesting you find a new world to conquer. Rather, your Guardian Beast reminds me of a certain deity. A true god!”
Gu Xing was stunned. A god? He had been under the impression that no gods existed within the Alternate Spaces. Based on what the Dragon Emperor had told him, the realms were populated only by Pseudo-God level experts.
Noticing his bewilderment, Feng Ni added, “Though he is a god, he is one whose life is nearing its end. Perhaps you should take your little elf and test your luck. You might just secure his Divine Position through inheritance.”
Gu Xing’s eyes widened. While he hadn't dared to dream that all his Guardian Beasts could reach such heights, he wouldn't pass up an opportunity. If Vera could obtain a Divine Position, their chances of success in the coming battle would increase exponentially.
“Senior Feng Ni, please guide me!” he requested.
“The World Tree!” she answered.
The name immediately brought to mind that titanic entity that seemed to hold up the heavens. Was the World Tree truly at the Divine Level? On second thought, it made perfect sense. How could a being capable of supporting an entire world be anything less?
“You should try,” Feng Ni urged. “He doesn't have much time left. If he agrees to pass his Divine Position to this girl, it would be the ideal conclusion.”
Gu Xing nodded. With one day remaining before their operation began, he immediately led his Guardian Beasts toward the entrance of what was once the Ascension Realm.
Since Gu Xing had cleared the Ascension Realm, it had become a training ground where the Human Race could easily boost their Attributes. Many of the younger generation were gathered there now. The person currently overseeing the site was none other than Gu Qianqian.
During the invasion of Blue Star, her Guardian Beast had been slain by the Demon Race, causing her Level to plummet. She had only recently managed to claw her way back to the Commander Level. Due to her relationship with Gu Xing and special considerations from Long Zhenguo, she had been assigned to manage the order within the Ascension Realm.
At that moment, Tang Xinrou nudged a distracted Gu Qianqian with her elbow. “Qianqian, what’s wrong? Thinking about my husband again? Honestly, he’s lived up to his reputation; he hasn't come back to see you once since he left Blue Star! He deserves a thrashing. If you ask me, the next time you see him, you should give him a good beating to remind him you’re the elder sister!”
Tang Xinrou continued her relentless critique of Gu Xing. Gu Qianqian’s mouth twitched. Tang Xinrou insisted on calling Gu Xing her husband despite being told countless times to stop. Eventually, Gu Qianqian had simply given up on correcting her.
Just as Gu Qianqian prepared to offer a defense for her brother, Tang Xinrou suddenly gasped. “Whoa! My husband!”
Gu Qianqian was about to snap at her for being so fickle, but when she turned her head, she froze. Standing there was a figure she knew all too well. Gu Xing stood before them, a sheepish grin on his face.
“Sis! It’s been a while!” he said, feeling a bit guilty. He had been incredibly busy, but he knew he should have made time to visit her.
Behind him, Liu Li, Qing Shuang, Vera, and the others stood respectfully. They recognized that this woman was Gu Xing’s true family.
Tears blurred Gu Qianqian’s vision the moment she saw him. She bit her lip, noticing his translucent appearance. “Xiaoxing... what happened to you?” she asked, her voice trembling.
It took Gu Xing a moment to realize she was worried about his Soul Body. He quickly explained the situation, and once she understood he was maintaining this form by choice, she finally relaxed. Then, her expression turned stern.
“Tell me, are you here on official business?” she demanded.
Gu Xing scratched his head awkwardly. “There is something important I need to do, but I didn't realize you’d be here, Sis. My business can wait a moment for you.”
Gu Qianqian gave him a skeptical look. “Stop playing around. Do you actually have time to spare?”
“Two hours should be plenty,” he replied.
“In that case, come with me!”
