My attributes are increasing infinitely Chapter 418: Training Ryan

From his VIP room, Ethan gazed down upon the assembled throng, sensing the intensity of their stares filled with unspoken queries.
The reason for their lingering was crystal clear to him; they craved a connection with him, eager to understand the figure capable of bestowing divinity through a mere vial.
Thus, he granted their desire.
In a burst of shadowy radiance, Ethan materialized upon the platform. As his words rang out, the atmosphere hummed with energy.
"Thank you for participating in the auction today," he declared, his tone velvety yet authoritative. "To keep things fair, we will host one auction every month. Every six months, we will hold a grand auction like the one you just saw today. I hope you will visit us again."
A wave of thrilled whispers rippled through the audience. Now they possessed a timetable.
"The tower itself will open in five days," Ethan went on. "There are many mysteries waiting for you inside. We will also launch a membership card system. These cards will give you discounts and special access. There are Iron, Bronze, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond levels."
He halted, allowing the quiet to intensify.
"And finally, the Supremacy Card. This is only for special people. I will only ever launch seven Supreme cards. I have already given one to Lady Zara. The remaining six will be given out as I see fit. The prices for the other cards will be published in three days. Have a nice day."
Ethan disappeared before shouts of inquiries could erupt or admirers could rush forward to grovel at his feet.
Their sycophancy held no interest for him. More pressing matters awaited, such as ensuring Rose's well-being.
Beyond the grand hall, the gathering dispersed gradually, their voices buzzing with chatter about the "Supreme Cards" and the rising force dominating the city.
Within a hushed hallway, Lady Melida intercepted Rose and her companions.
The gentle mentor's visage had vanished; in its place lingered a visage etched with icy avarice.
"Rose, go and talk to Mr. Hunt right now," Melida commanded in a venomous murmur. "I will leave with the others. You know what you have to do. Don’t come back empty-handed."
Previously, when Trian desired Rose, Melida had merely hinted at possibilities.
Yet now, confronted by Ethan's vast riches and influence, she issued outright ultimatums.
Tears gathered in Rose’s eyes, stirring a profound turmoil within her spirit.
Ethan did not repulse her, yet as a woman of pride, she refused to serve as a mere instrument for alluring a male.
Her spirit weighed down heavily, though her glance shifted to Zara. Failure would mean Melida shattering Zara’s prospects.
Ensnared by her own vulnerabilities, Rose felt utterly cornered.
Melida's attention then shifted to Ryan, positioned close by.
"You," Melida barked. "You have the Titan bloodline now. You are valuable. You will become a high-level guard for my family. Follow us."
Ryan remained rooted in place.
He spared her not even a glance. Instead, his gaze locked onto the dim areas trailing her.
Observing Ryan's defiance, fury contorted Melida's features.
Her arm lifted to strike him, yet it froze suspended in the air.
Ethan had suddenly materialized directly before the group.
"Hello Lady Rose, hello Lady Zara," he addressed them with a genial grin, utterly disregarding Melida’s poised strike.
Melida hastily dropped her arm and plastered on an insincere, obsequious grin.
"Mr. Hunt! It is such an honor to meet you again!"
A brief, frosty inclination of his head was Ethan's sole response to her, before his focus returned to Rose.
Next, his stare reverted to Melida, chilling to the core.
"I will give you an Eternal-grade Omni-Law weapon," Ethan announced abruptly. "In exchange, you will make Lady Rose the Head Saintess of the Ice Dragon race. You have the authority to do that, don’t you?"
Melida's pulse raced wildly, as if her heart might burst free.
An Eternal-grade artifact? Merely for elevating her disciple?
"Yes! Yes, I have that authority. May I ask... what kind of weapon do you have for me?" Droplets of eagerness nearly trickled from her lips.
"What weapon do you use?" Ethan inquired.
"I... I use a whip," Melida faltered.
Visions of her reigning as the supreme force in the Ice Dragon realm already danced in her mind.
In that instant, she resolved to seek out additional stunning protégées, should it yield further treasures of this caliber.
"Alright. Go and make her the Head Saint today. I will have your weapon ready. Here is the contract."
A luminous scroll forged from Law essence was passed to her by Ethan.
Without scanning the details, Melida affixed her signature without delay.
Ethan faced Rose, his demeanor easing into gentleness.
"Lady Rose, would you like a tour of my company?"
No response came from Rose.
Her gaze stayed lowered, a single tear splashing to the ground.
Shame consumed her, convinced that Ethan was purchasing her freedom from Melida.
"Lady Rose, look at me," Ethan urged softly.
Her head rose, revealing reddened eyes.
"You don’t owe me anything. I am doing this because I want to. I don’t need anything from you in return. That is my promise. Just try to smile more. It suits you better."
Opportunity for rebuttal was denied to her.
His attention pivoted to Ryan.
"As for you, Ryan... I believe we had a deal? You said you would massage my back? It’s time to fulfill your part of the bargain."
Confusion flickered in Ryan's eyes as he blinked.
What could prompt a man surrounded by endless allure to seek a rubdown from a towering twelve-foot Titan?
"Uh... okay, sir," Ryan agreed with a nod.
One final glance was cast by Ethan toward Melida.
"Lady Melida, if you treat them with the best care possible, you might just earn the next Supreme Card."
Deep bows nearly formed from Melida's posture.
Rose, Zara, Riya, and the rest were swiftly ushered away by her.
With Ethan, Ryan lingered.
Prior to departing, Rose cast a backward look at Ethan.
"Thank you," she silently formed with her lips.
A radiant, sincere beam was Ethan's reply.
"I heard Lady Zara has a Saint Trial coming up?" Ethan hailed the girl. "I have something that might help you with that. Why don’t you come back tomorrow? For now, go and rest."
Joy nearly sparked a playful skip from Zara.
A peculiar tranquility enveloped her in Ethan's presence.
Devoid of the predatory stares from fellow aristocrats, Ethan's regard resembled that of a safeguarding elder sibling.
"I’ll be there!" she exclaimed brightly.
Questions about his generosity bubbled in Rose, but Ethan clasped Ryan's shoulder and dissolved into the tower's depths.
En route to the Ice Dragon conveyances, Melida's manner transformed utterly.
Around Rose's shoulders draped her arm, accompanied by a feigned maternal grin that churned Rose's stomach.
"Rose, my dear, from today on, you are the Lead Saintess. You will live in the main castle starting tonight. Your family members can live there too. We must make sure you are comfortable!"
Disdain filled Rose's view of her "Master".
The royal treatment stemmed solely from the tower's enigmatic figure, she realized.
Deep within the tower, Ethan guided Ryan into a secluded chamber.
"Sir," Ryan queried, "Why did you really ask for a massage? I know you don’t actually need one."
Laughter escaped Ethan.
"I needed an excuse to get you away from that old woman. And besides, we have a lot to talk about regarding your new bloodline. Your training starts now."
