Living In Another World With A Farm Chapter 8341: Set a plan (1)

Previously on Living In Another World With A Farm...
Faced with a joint invitation from five major sects and a potential invasion by the Thirteen Family Alliance, the Blood Slaughter Sect’s high leadership finds itself in a precarious position. Elder Ha Jing suggests summoning Zhao Hai, whose strategic vision has previously aided the sect, to provide his perspective on the crisis. Hidden from view, the Sect Master and Grand Elders listen as Zhao Hai analyzes the situation, warning that the invitations are a trap designed to paralyze the sect’s leadership while their defenses are dismantled. He argues that this is a coordinated effort to ruin the sect’s reputation and incite the entire Blood Sea Realm against them. Impressed by his insight, the Sect Master reveals himself and tasks Zhao Hai with finding a way to break the enemy alliance.

The Sect Master fixed his gaze on Zhao Hai, speaking in a low, measured tone. "Dismantling the alliance of the seven sects is no simple feat. They have unified specifically to oppose us, and they will not easily be swayed or fall into our traps."

"To shatter their coalition, our first move must be to clarify our position," Zhao Hai replied solemnly. "We must project an image of absolute strength. Historically, the Blood Slaughter Sect has never bowed to outsiders, and we must maintain that reputation now. The initial step is our response. Sect Master, you should send them a message so unyielding that it leaves no room for doubt regarding our resolve."

Watching Zhao Hai with growing curiosity, the Sect Master asked, "I am interested to hear what kind of defiant reply you suggest. Do you truly believe a mere letter will force them to reconsider their stance?" The Sect Master found himself increasingly impressed by Zhao Hai’s intellect. The young man had managed to analyze a complex situation and present a coherent strategy in a remarkably short window of time. Such clarity was a mark of true brilliance.

Zhao Hai permitted himself a small smile. "If I were the one responding, the message would be brief. It only requires six words: 'Not going. If you have something to say, say it!' That is all that is needed." Zhao Hai spoke without hesitation, offering his thoughts freely. His blunt suggestion momentarily stunned the Sect Master and the Elders, before they all erupted into laughter.

The Sect Master laughed heartily while looking at Zhao Hai. "Hahaha! Excellent, young man! You certainly have the temperament I admire. Very well, I shall reply exactly like that. I can already imagine the looks on those old foxes' faces when they read it. However, while this might provoke them, it won't necessarily break their alliance, will it?"

Zhao Hai nodded in agreement. "That is true. A letter alone only incites anger; it doesn't dissolve a pact. However, we have further moves to make. While the seven major sects have joined forces to swallow our Blood Slaughter Sect, they are far from united. Each has its own agenda and seeks maximum profit with minimum risk. After we send the reply, we observe their mobilization. If they move their troops, we will concentrate our entire military force in a single direction: toward the Yin-Yang Sect. We should even have the First Elder appear there, brandishing his Killing God Saber. We will send a clear message to the alliance: if you strike us, we will not bother with defense. Instead, we will pour everything into annihilating the Yin-Yang Sect alone."

"We will ignore the others. Even if the alliance breaches our borders, we will breach the Yin-Yang Sect’s borders. Even if the Blood Slaughter Sect is destroyed, we will ensure the Yin-Yang Sect is buried with us. Those cowards at the Yin-Yang Sect are notorious for bullying the weak and fearing the strong; they are treacherous but fragile. By making it clear we are prepared for a suicide pact, we force their hand. If they move against us, we move against them. We could even designate another major sect, like the Sick Man Sect, as a secondary target. I want to see how long their alliance lasts when one or two of them realize they are the ones destined for extinction!"

The Sect Master and the Elders were momentarily speechless as they processed Zhao Hai’s words, their eyes gradually lighting up with realization. The Blood Slaughter Sect had always been famous for its suicidal ferocity, a trait the other sects lacked. In the eyes of the world, Cultivators from the Blood Slaughter Sect were lunatics. If they signaled a willingness to burn everything down just to take one or two enemies with them, the alliance would likely fracture instantly. No sect would want to be the "chosen one" that the Blood Slaughter Sect decided to drag into the abyss.

Zhao Hai continued his analysis. "At that point, I suspect the alliance will retreat from a full-scale war. They won't risk a fight to the death, but they will still try to save face by pressuring us through the Thirteen Family Alliance. They won't abandon the chance to weaken us while we are perceived as vulnerable. This is when we offer strategic concessions. By giving them a glimmer of hope, we prevent them from being driven into a corner where they might actually turn desperate."

The Sect Master looked at Zhao Hai intently. "Explain these concessions. How do we appease them without appearing weak or inviting a real war?" He was now fully convinced that Zhao Hai’s plan was viable. Every step was calculated based on a deep understanding of human nature and political leverage. The Sect Master realized that had he been in the same position, he would likely have reached the same conclusions.

Zhao Hai explained firmly, "We allow the Thirteen Family Alliance to proceed with their attack, but we set strict boundaries. The Sect’s high-level experts will not interfere. We must establish a rule: this conflict is restricted to disciples below the Dharma Refinement realm. No one at the level of Island Lord or above is permitted to engage. This applies to both the Thirteen Family Alliance and the Blood Slaughter Sect. We transform the Western Defense Line into a controlled battlefield—a testing ground for low-level disciples."

The Elders were taken aback. They were well aware that the Sect had already suffered heavy losses among its junior ranks during the recent internal strife. To suggest turning the front lines into a meat grinder for low-level disciples seemed counterintuitive. They wondered if Zhao Hai was unaware of the current state of their forces.

Seeing their doubt, Zhao Hai clarified, "I am aware that our internal conflicts have thinned the ranks of our junior disciples. However, those who survived that turmoil have seen their strength and resolve tempered significantly. This kind of real-world combat experience is invaluable for their growth."

The Sect Master and the Elders fell into thoughtful silence. From their high vantage points, they usually only looked at the raw numbers of casualties, rarely considering the quality of the survivors. They hadn't fully grasped that the survivors of the recent chaos had become much more formidable Cultivators.

Ha Jing turned to Lei Gang, who had remained quiet throughout the briefing. "Lei Gang, is this accurate? Have the surviving low-level disciples truly shown such improvement?" As an Island Lord with direct command over these ranks, Lei Gang was the best person to verify the claim.

Lei Gang nodded. "Indeed, Master. The strength of the survivors has increased noticeably. However, our numbers have been severely depleted. If we turn the Western Defense Line into a permanent battlefield, I fear the remaining disciples will be wiped out entirely." Lei Gang agreed with Zhao Hai's logic regarding the benefits of combat, but as a leader, he worried about the Sect's foundation. Without a steady stream of low-level disciples, the Sect would eventually wither away.

The Sect Master turned back to Zhao Hai. "You heard Lei Gang. If the casualties among our junior disciples become too extreme, it will cripple the Sect's future. This plan seems too risky."

Zhao Hai offered a confident smile. "Sect Master, I have two solutions for that. First, we utilize our formations. The defensive arrays on the islands along the Western Defense Line can serve as fortified bases, allowing our disciples to fight from a position of strength, which will drastically reduce losses. Second, I have made significant progress in metal puppet manufacturing. I can now produce a vast quantity of metal puppets in a very short time. By deploying these puppets to the front, they can take the brunt of the fighting against the Thirteen Family Alliance. This protects our disciples while also serving as a warning to the seven great sects. If they see we can flood a battlefield with puppets, they will realize that any attempt to target our low-level disciples will result in their own juniors being slaughtered by machines."

The room went silent as the Elders stared at Zhao Hai with wide eyes. The Sect Master leaned forward, his voice urgent. "You claim you can mass-produce metal puppets so quickly? How? Is this truly possible?" He knew that if such a capability existed, the Blood Slaughter Sect’s dominance would be unshakable.

"It is entirely possible," Zhao Hai stated firmly. "I have already conducted successful tests. The only requirement is a steady supply of Dark Souls. With enough of them, the production line can be scaled up immensely." Zhao Hai spoke with total confidence, as the technology was already perfected in his hands.

The Sect Master stood up abruptly. "I must see this for myself. I need to witness this mass-production technology with my own eyes before I can fully commit to this path. Can you show us?"

Zhao Hai was slightly surprised by the Sect Master's urgency, but he quickly recovered. "The facility is located on my island. If the Sect Master wishes to inspect it, we must travel to Blood Gale Island." He had already established a functional production line there for just such an occasion.

"Then we go now. Lead the way," the Sect Master commanded. The Elders and Lei Gang rose immediately. Zhao Hai bowed in acknowledgment and led the group to the teleportation array at the rear of the hall. He stepped forward to calibrate the coordinates for his island, then gestured for the Sect Master and the others to enter. Once everyone was positioned, a flash of white light enveloped them, and they vanished from the hall.
