I Am the Fated Villain Chapter 1308: The Master Outline of Transcending the Taboo Secret Canon, the Scheme Set by the Eternal Primordial God

Previously on I Am the Fated Villain...
Gu Changge decisively agreed to establish and abide by the Xiyuan Covenant, easing tensions at the Yu Xian Palace and surprising Ling Yuling, while the Xiyuan Saintess pledged her support on behalf of the Xiyuan Sacred Hall. He left representatives including Mu Yan and several Fatians elders to participate in the discussions, then departed with the main group, allowing the formulation process to proceed without his direct involvement. Later, Ling Yuling privately shared an ancient manual detailing first-generation civilization treasures, including secrets of the Reincarnation Mirror, urging the Saintess to reconsider her passive stance and join her in attempting to alter the foreseen doomed path for the Xiyuan Civilization.

The silhouettes of Ling Yuling and the Xiyuan Saintess reemerged inside the Yuxian Palace. Beyond the pair, nobody had any idea about the matters they talked over in there.

During the ensuing days, the Yuxian Palace brimmed with nonstop commotion.

Flying boats streaking as beams of brilliant light ripped across the heavens and through space-time, landing in this spot. Numerous Dao-lineage powers that got wind of the news but hadn't shown up yet dispatched key representatives hurrying over to collaborate on forming and outlining the Xiyuan Covenant.

Moreover, various obscure forbidden areas and concealed domains unleashed waves and bizarre signs. Young servants mounted clouds and pinkish vapors, guiding golden immortal oxen to bring forth communications for the overlords lurking in the shadows.

Cracks tore open at the horizon's brink, and numerous entities cloaked in holy glows dropped down successively, originating from the Divine Dao Civilization. Such an occurrence rattled the whole Xiyuan Civilization. And it wasn't just the Xiyuan Civilization—plenty of authentic domains and empires kept a sharp eye on it too, eager to catch updates as soon as they surfaced.

Ling Yuling along with the various elders from the Yuxian Palace kept holding talks with the arrivals, tweaking the covenant's terms over and over. Simultaneously, they were forecasting the upcoming fate of the Xiyuan Civilization, refining the agreement even more.

At the same time, in some space-time burial ground tucked away in the immense and limitless void—Broken and aged stone monuments lay strewn across this region of space-time. Everywhere, huge stretches of nebulae lay in ruins, creating a disordered burial site.

One after another, old coffins stained with blood rested in the depressions. Certain sections had rotted away and crumbled, releasing a chilling deathly vibe that struck fear into the soul.

Nobody could tell how many eras these coffins had rested here. A few stood ajar, empty except for bits of fabric long turned to dust and decay.

Right then, a stunningly gorgeous woman creased her forehead a bit, gripping a glowing divine jade that pulsed with shifting rainbow hues, as she worked to shatter the multiple barriers in front of her. She remained seated in the lotus position, surrounded by swirling space-time forces—strangely intangible, resembling drifting haze or fog.

Every inhale she made drew in billions of threads of rosy cloud-qi that twisted together and surged endlessly toward her, akin to a legendary ancient immortal feasting on vapors and sipping dawn's dew. Her features stayed hidden in a veil of mist and shining clouds, revealing only eyes as luminous and spotless as moonlight. Clad in a lengthy golden gown that shimmered with golden light, it billowed amid the rosy qi flows, evoking an eternal sun deity from the dawn of ages.

“The secret stash abandoned by the Eternal Primordial God ought to lie right in this spot, theoretically. Then why does it keep failing each attempt?”

“Is it possible that the key forged from the five Eternal Divine Artifacts could err too?”

Whispering to herself, the exquisite woman channeled the streams of divine might from her frame once more into the divine jade she clutched.

A fearsome, roaring energy burst from that divine jade, resembling raging seas and torrents charging ahead, aiming to obliterate the surrounding barriers. But regardless of her efforts, she couldn't breach the obstacles in front.

Instead, a savage rebound energy rushed back at her, stacking like crashing billows, stirring her vital energies and blood into turmoil. The recoil jolted her form, threw her off balance, and golden blood dripped from her mouth's edge, drop by drop.

The immense force she had just infused dissipated rapidly, scattering into oblivion.

“I’ve wandered countless space-time graveyards and forgotten ruins, traversed endless deadly lairs and hopeless wastelands, yet this is the first such snag I’ve hit…”

“Might the Eternal Primordial God have never truly perished?”

The exquisite woman tightened her brows. While mending her wounds, her eyes shifted back to the barriers up ahead. She was Luo Xiangjun, the one who claimed the five Eternal Divine Artifacts from Gu Changge and melded them into the opener for the Eternal Primordial God’s secret stash.

Still, from refining that key and pinpointing the stash's site, to reaching this place and getting stuck, almost a millennium had slipped by.

Over this millennium, she had tested every trick to crack these barriers and access the Eternal Primordial God’s secret stash. But each try ended in failure. She even tapped the items Gu Changge provided in the end, yet they fell short. Now, even breaking out of here posed a real issue.

Prior to arriving, Luo Xiangjun hadn't foreseen such a hassle.

The Eternal Primordial God had obviously perished eons ago. Even the Eternal God Race's lineage had thinned to near extinction—merely a tiny survivor group lingered in the Immortal-Spirit Civilization.

That time, she had boldly assured Gu Changge of swiftly unlocking the Eternal Primordial God’s stash and claiming its riches and supplies. But presently, just extracting herself from this trap felt daunting.

Luo Xiangjun started to fret that Gu Changge could wrongly assume she had seized the Eternal Hidden Trove, snatched all the riches and supplies, and fled into nothingness.

“From the documents I’ve gathered, the Eternal Primordial God endured at least nine Heavenly Decline Tribulations, nearing the Supreme Shattering level…”

“If he truly lives on, then that so-called Eternal Hidden Trove might just be baseless gossip?”

“Yet the five Eternal Divine Artifacts are real, and I truly crafted a key from them later.”

Luo Xiangjun’s delicate brows furrowed deeply; no matter how she pondered, it eluded her. Had she anticipated this outcome, her power level would have deterred her from eyeing the Eternal Primordial God’s secret stash. She released a gentle sigh, stood up, and started strolling amid this space-time graveyard cluster, seeking an alternative path.

She couldn't stay confined eternally. Should Gu Changge truly misjudge her, real problems would arise.

A dull brownish gale swept in from far-off space-time, bearing rot's foul odor, plus a piercing chill and ghostly chill.

This space-time graveyard lacked any stable spot in space or time; it drifted perpetually with time-space fluxes and shifts. Even if Luo Xiangjun escaped now, she'd have zero clue of her landing point.

In the endless void, trillions of space-times and infinite universes sprawled out. None knew if an absolute edge existed. By escape's moment, she might lie light-years from the Immortal-Spirit Civilization. Reuniting with Gu Changge could demand millions of years, or far more.

“I’ve never defaulted on a vow. I only wish he won’t misread me.”

Luo Xiangjun’s graceful steps glided softly as she morphed into a golden beam, wandering this barren space-time graveyard, hunting an exit.

From her researched annals, the Eternal Primordial God met his end due to acquiring a taboo scripture unfit for any world's existence.

That taboo scripture went by the name Outline of Transcendence.

Luo Xiangjun pursued the Eternal Primordial God’s secret stash solely for that Outline of Transcendence. She recognized her talent and limits. In this existence, despite defying-heavens luck, she'd probably halt shy of the Ancestral Dao Realm, stuck without progress.

And that Outline of Transcendence marked her last shot.

To shatter her destiny, she needed to claim the Outline of Transcendence.

All at once, a monstrous rumble thundered. Before Luo Xiangjun, an enormously huge star detonated, crumbling into celestial dust.

A nightmarish colossal hand, riddled with pale bones, burst from that fissure, eclipsing space and time. In a blink, it plunged this space-time segment into gloom, lunging to capture her outright.

“Why does a live soul linger here?”

Luo Xiangjun’s face paled—she hadn't anticipated an assault right then. Reaction time fled her. Her frame ballooned instantly, and her limb extended too. Her pale hand, enveloped in dread Dao-domain laws, fractured space-time with a dull boom, smashing ahead to meet that bone-hand spanning the skies.

A cataclysmic impact exploded on site, as though myriad stars and full universes crumbled. The onslaught of ruthless energies wrecked the nearby space-time, reducing it to ruin.

With a stifled grunt, Luo Xiangjun’s limb tingled numbly. Crimson seeped forth, and her slim, pale digits almost splintered. She could scarcely credit it. Her might, while not supreme below the Ancestral Dao Realm, neared it. Yet in this swift clash with the bone colossus hand, she suffered the worse end—outmatched entirely.

“How could this be? For millennia, no life signs stirred here. How does an Ancestral Dao Realm equal emerge out of nowhere?”

“Does the Eternal Primordial God truly persist?”

Luo Xiangjun’s form darted aside at blinding pace, aiming to dodge, but that horrific bone colossus hand mirrored her path, haunting like a wraith.

No evasion worked—whether phasing solid to empty or empty to solid—it failed. It seemed fused to her utterly. It hammered down, hurling her from the heights. She slammed into the earth, cracking it into myriad gashes.

Luo Xiangjun coughed up blood. Her presence flickered faintly before she hauled herself upright. Her look turned grave. She stared at the bone colossus hand, dread stirring within.

“Who lurks in the shadows here?” Luo Xiangjun demanded icily.

“Hehe. I owe you thanks, young one, for the tributes across these ages. They roused me from sleep. No fear—this is just borrowed might for now.”

“The form I occupy was one of the foes who cornered me and perished here long ago. Its leftover essence is scant, but plenty to handle you. So drop any schemes.”

“You’ve aided my revival. I won’t trouble you further.”

An aged, weathered tone abruptly resounded across the space-time cemetery. Every stone monument quivered, as if resounding the declaration.

Witnessing this, Luo Xiangjun, though she had guessed it, still reeled in shock and disbelief.

“Who might you be? Are you the Eternal Primordial God?” She questioned gravely.

“Hehe, sharp mind—you even recognize my name.” The ancient tone returned, laced with a soft laugh.

“So the Eternal Treasury was pure fiction? A lure you crafted?”

Even the dimmest could grasp it now: no Eternal Treasury waited.

Those tales had been sown by the Eternal Primordial God on purpose. He must have anticipated this era and woven the ploy ages back, biding for descendants to restore him.

Little wonder her barrier-breaking attempts always rang false. The energy she fed in vanished like pebbles in depths, traceless.

And now, the Eternal Primordial God’s open admission—plus the strike that wounded her—aimed to daunt and subdue her.

For he had freshly stirred, far from his zenith. His usable power stayed constrained. Or maybe he had faced pursuit and demise then, compelled to rig revivals for future times.

The famed Eternal Treasury served as a vast ruse to pick a fitting ally for his rebirth.

Having pieced this together, Luo Xiangjun’s expression soured. She had sifted endless chronicles, delved ancient wrecks and terror dens, endured countless brushes with doom—

These fractured ancient Supremes—none proved simple foes.

“Clever young one. No surprise you reached this far and gained this Venerable One’s nod. To unravel it all so fast.”

“This Venerable One grasps your pursuit, and yes, that item rests with me. My downfall back then tied to it indeed.”

“Should you desire it, I’ll hand it over too.”

“Yet first, bind yourself with a Heavenly Dao vow for this Venerable One, and assist with a few tasks.”

The Eternal Primordial God’s declaration rang out anew through this time-space span. It cut bluntly, as if piercing Luo Xiangjun’s innermost secrets.

“Do I hold any option now?” Luo Xiangjun replied frostily.

Even if the foe wielded just Ancestral Dao Realm force, it sufficed to overpower her.

“Wise and yielding young soul. The seals here stand lifted. Soon, guide this Venerable One from this trap, and aid in locating a bloodline heir of mine. Beyond that, utter not a whisper of this Venerable One.”

“This Venerable One will rest briefly. Upon recovery, I’ll grant your desire naturally.”

As the tone faded, it offered Luo Xiangjun no pause for doubt.

A bolt of dusky golden glow lanced out instantly from the burial ground's core, streaking toward the divine jade in Luo Xiangjun’s grasp.

In moments, the divine jade blazed with dazzling splendor; its once-vibrant face turned sharper and more gem-like. But swiftly it faded, as if stripped of all Dao essence and vital spirit.

Luo Xiangjun observed this with a frosty stare. She itched to hurl the divine jade aside, yet ultimately restrained herself.

This divine jade came from an olden sepulcher. It served as a great one's grave good, invaluable, holding boundless and pristine energy—potent enough to tempt an Ancestral Dao Realm being.

But now, its energy got fully siphoned by the Eternal Primordial God. Though he slumbered, he could rouse anytime.

She dared not move carelessly, and his recent words rang utterly false to her.

The Eternal Primordial God had fallen under siege for challenging transcendence's grand edicts.

“The Eternal God Race’s bloodline… Must I head to the Immortal Spirit Civilization?”

But at present, Luo Xiangjun lacked time for such thoughts. Surviving and escaping this bind ranked paramount. She had roamed myriad civilizations and True Realms, ultimately finding the Eternal God Race’s lineage only in the Immortal Spirit Civilization.

Now, returning to the Immortal Spirit Civilization seemed inevitable. Meanwhile, in the Xiyuan Civilization, amid a zone where silver glows surged and faith power roiled like an ocean without end—The Old Han Crow and the aged Daoist, from the Lesser Yin Aspect and Heaven-Decline Aspect respectively, stood reverently before a Heaven-Smiting Shrine.

Gu Changge lingered inside the Heaven-Smiting Shrine, facing away from them, eyes shut, mute and still. Innumerable threads, vast as lakes and oceans, of fortune power converged ahead of him, forming a grand web spanning every realm, letting him sense and glimpse the musings and reflections, emotions and senses, of all creatures across all domains.
