Harem Stealer: Reborn with the God-Tier Sharing System Chapter 479 - Blanche, White Phoenix

Idalia Marigold lounged at ease upon a chair enveloped in white flames, her golden gaze settled on the captivating woman seated opposite across the table.
The domain surrounding her brimmed with nothing except immaculate white fire that hissed, puffed, and crackled from every direction.
A table and the chairs encircling it perched upon the back of a sculpture resembling a shrieking Phoenix, its eyes gleaming with intelligence far beyond that of a lifeless form.
"Marigold of Light Torcheur," the woman opposite Marigold scowled, her eyes resembling a pool of pale water, "Your visit was not, let's say, truly expected."
Idalia Marigold's lips curved upward, a smile spreading along the corners of her mouth. She observed the woman, known as Blanche, the White Phoenix from the Phoenix family.
All aspects of her were white, from her skin and hair to her eyebrows and even her tongue. It felt unsettling, yet oddly alluring.
She resembled a doll crafted for indulgence and care.
"I came today only to ask you for something, Blanche." Idalia replied, crossing her legs in a relaxed manner, "I assumed that knowing our history together, you will not refuse me."
For a fleeting moment, Blanche's white eyebrow creased, her expression twisting in disgust before she restored her composed look.
It happened so swiftly that no one might have caught it. Marigold noticed. And she remained silent, merely smiling more profoundly.
"What do you want?" Blanche inquired, her long white nails drumming restlessly on the table.
"I feel like visiting the Spirit World lately," Marigold started, "and I
would need an anchor to the Waking Universe in order to go and come back whenever I get bored."
"And you think I will help you?" Blanche smiled, though it failed to touch her eyes. They remained as icy as death, even amid the growing heat nearby.
"Why wouldn't you?" Marigold questioned, "I have come especially to ask your help. Do you think I needed to do that? I could have simply ripped away dozens of your family's hearts and it would be over."
She inclined her head, her own golden eyes starting to flicker like dying embers.
Blanche's lips formed a tight line, her muscles rigid beneath her icy, impassive features.
"You wouldn't dare to do such a thing." The White Phoenix hissed. "You really think so?"
"Not only my family, all the Phoenix family will hunt you if you ever dare. You know it, Marigold. That's why you are here, trying to bargain with me for help."
Blanche snickered.
"Who are you trying to fool?"
"I am a Celestial, Blanche." Marigold grated, "I am a True Child. Do you
-!"
"How is your brother?"
Dead silence.
Marigold's frame trembled involuntarily, her stomach twisting into knots, her heartbeat quickening.
She fixed Blanche with a fierce stare, her cheeks burning red, angry veins snaking across her vitiligo-marked skin.
"How do you know?" She growled.
"Everybody knows." Blanche said, "And me, Marigold, knowing you, I can say that you are here because of him."
"Then if you know me, Blanche, as you claim." Idalia retorted, "then you should know that I will do anything to go to the Spirit World. And that even if your whole fucking family will be on my back."
She paused, gazing at her more intently,
"Do you believe I am telling falsehoods?"
Blanche responded with quiet. She hesitated to confess it, but Idalia's condition appeared far too precarious.
Blanche vaguely recalled times in the past when Idalia Marigold had been precisely in this state. It stemmed either from dreams of her brother reclaiming her or from the man she cherished despising her. And Blanche had been present, aiding her through the ordeal of trauma and despair.
She alone had been willing to hear Marigold out.
She alone had offered her genuine affection. But that was no longer the case.
For Blanche now understood that loving a shattered soul like Idalia was impossible.
One would simply shatter alongside her.
Blanche understood. She knew it all too well.
Because of this, she had no desire to involve herself with Marigold
any more than required.
Moreover, Marigold behaved like a pampered child. If denied what she desired, she would unleash a violent outburst.
And no one desired to witness the devastation a supreme universal entity could wreak in such an erratic mood.
Thus, with a weary sigh, Blanche regarded Marigold, a flicker of sympathy crossing her eyes as she noted the Celestial's turmoil.
"As you will." Blanche finally said, "I will give you what you want, and
you get out of my world. Do me a damn favor for once, stay there and
don't come back."
"After everything we lived together?" Marigold said.
"Especially because of that. After all, you didn't mind throwing all of
those moments away when you felt the need, did you? Now, Marigold, do me proud and tell me when do you want to go."
"Right now."
"What?" Blanche asked incredulously.
Marigold rose to her feet, flames dancing along her form.
"I want to go to the Spirit World right now, Blanche. I have a bitch to
get back after all."
"You are the bitch."
Marigold halted, casting Blanche a shadowy look, inwardly debating whether to strike or spare. At last...
"Just do your fucking job."
"Tsk."

Meanwhile, within the Spirit World, in the domain ruled by The
Light That Was Once, Noah reclined with his legs propped on an elaborately decorated table, his fingers toying with an object.
It resembled a red Tower, though incomplete, lacking certain sections.
Elira and Yuki sprawled nearby, chatting idly about whatever idle thoughts surfaced in their minds.
Mostly, their conversation revolved around their Gifts. Elira had requested a glimpse of Yuki's Sword of Severance, offering in exchange to reveal her own, Soul Modeling.
Noah ignored their exchange, his thoughts centered on the tower and the entity hovering over the table.
It was a petite, fluffy, spherical being, golden-hued, featuring a single large blinking eye at its center. Fairy-like wings sprouted from its back.
The being appeared utterly adorable in every way. That is, unless one realized it was the ruler in disguise.
"That's curious." Noah murmured, addressing the ruler without glancing his way, "Who would have thought this? Is this why you are not
acknowledging my mother?"
He inquired.
"Yes, my friend Noah." The ruler replied softly.
No confrontation had been necessary with the ruler. Noah merely invoked the LOGOS blessing of Tiamat, freezing the entire Dominion for a single second.
That was the extent of his power against a Ruler, at present. Just one second. Yet it proved entirely sufficient.
Yuki and Elira had eliminated the most perilous souls within the Dominion, while Noah personally handled the ruler.
He employed Singularity from The King in The North, triggering an inconceivable occurrence. Noah condensed the Ruler's vast mind into a solitary strand of awareness.
Then, utilizing his atom manipulation, he altered a single internal conduit within the Ruler's thread-like mind.
There, Noah inserted a synapse-like link that connected straight to the Ruler's core consciousness. This link served a sole purpose: to amplify the Ruler's affinity for Noah at an exponential rate.
Nothing more, and suddenly Light That Was Once regarded Noah as his closest ally, with none the wiser. Particularly after Noah rewound time to restore the Dominion fully.
The LOGOS blessing proved extraordinarily potent.
But at this point, as Noah had predicted, they merely conversed.
"So there is no Principality governing the Spirit World of our universe?" Noah remarked, fiddling with the fractured Tower, "Which makes
you four the True Rulers by sharing the source of the Principality's authority between you?"
"And my mother wishing to be a ruler meant you will need to part away some of your authority."
"And none want such a thing, my good friend Noah." The ruler said. He
appeared to shrug. It was difficult to discern. "And besides, I will tell you this
and be honest because we are friends. But I hate your mother, my good friend."
Noah's lips twitched.
Beside him, Yuki and Elira now tuned into the discussion, stifling chuckles at the endearing yet solemn tone of Light That Was Once.
"And why is that, Light?" Noah asked. Light seemed to contort into a grimace of revulsion and fury.
"Because Love loves her. And I love Love."
Noah's expression stiffened. Yuki and Elira burst into laughter.
"I beg your pardon?" -End of Chapter 479-
