Harem Stealer: Reborn with the God-Tier Sharing System Chapter 471 - It begins
Previously on Harem Stealer: Reborn with the God-Tier Sharing System...
The events unfolded in a blur, leaving the four dragons stunned and disoriented. Prior to grasping the what or why of their actions...
...they were suddenly suspended over the Dominion of the third Soul Ruler, Solstice of Twilight, with their claws honed and poised for combat.
Outwardly, their expressions remained composed and icy. The influence of the First Soul Ruler lingered around them, pulsing intermittently like nothing unusual had occurred; as though no alterations had taken place.
Yet, everything was utterly transformed.
Up to this point, they failed to grasp how Noah pulled off such an incredible maneuver. How he directed them without triggering even their defenses
at all. Nevertheless, they had no further chance to ponder it now.
A woman with dark skin emerged before them—clad in a habit resembling a nun's, entirely in black attire, her face veiled, and her palms clasped together in a prayerful pose.
With her eyes shut, she bowed her head slightly as her lips parted to speak:
"Visitors from the Shadows, may I inquire about the purpose of your entry into the Twilight, claws bared to spill sinful blood?"
Her tone carried a serene calm, evoking the voice of one who had known only tranquility throughout her existence.
In that instant, all four dragons yearned to voice their true thoughts; to explain they had no intention of arriving here or launching an assault.
Yet, the phrases that escaped their lips stood in direct
contrast to everything they felt.
"The Twilight has hoarded the Lake for too many ages," Fire declared, his words thundering with fury as flames erupted from his form. "Our Lord, Shadow of One Was Lost, demands its return. Will you stand against us?"
The nun's smooth, browless features creased in concern. "The-!"
"Will you stand against us?" Fire interrupted her sharply.
"Please, visitors, let's-!"
"Will you cursed stand against us or not?" Wind roared in fury, then impulsively lashed out with her dragon claws, lunging at the nun.
Wind accelerated swiftly, summoning a tempest to swirl around her talons.
At the same instant, "For the Shadows!!!" Water shouted, and overhead, an ocean of shadows materialized, crashing down upon the Dominion without mercy.
The nun at last unveiled her eyes—they burned a profound scarlet, brimming with fury. Her features contorted, rage-filled veins crawling across her skin. A dark, devouring energy erupted from her, slamming outward.
Her mouth gaped wide, vapor billowing from it like the heat of an infernal furnace within. "YOU-!"
"No need to yell." Ester murmured from behind her.
The nun stiffened in terror. Before any response was possible, Ester placed her hands on the nun's face and tore off her head with raw power.
Bones, meat, gore... everything trailed her pull, spraying across the void in a gruesome display.
Concurrently, her shadow stirred and engulfed the remaining corpse.
The Paragon of Shadow vanished just as abruptly as her arrival.
Precisely then, a piercing cry of enraged fury echoed across the
area, making the four dragons hemorrhage wildly while beholding a vision that chilled them to the core.
The Soul Ruler advanced toward them.
Rather than retreating, they gripped their weapons even firmer.
"FOR THE SHADOWS!!"
'We are doomed! We are doomed! We are doomed!'
...
Meanwhile, Noah, Elira, and Yuki materialized before the Dominion of the second Soul Ruler, The Light of What Was Once. Against its title, the spot where they emerged bathed in brilliant radiance. The dominion ahead, unlike Maryam's arboreal form, resembled a glowing tower piercing into the clouds above.
It presented a breathtaking view. Yet, none among them felt inclined to
savor it.
A weighty, sharp stare bore down upon them.
"He sensed us," Yuki remarked, positioned to Noah's right. "But he appears reluctant to emerge and face us."
"That's only natural." Elira agreed with a nod, her thoughts lingering on why a Soul Ruler desired her. "He's likely biding his time for us to enter, placing us squarely in his territory. We'd be at a disadvantage." "That holds true if we intended to battle." Noah grinned. "But I seek only conversation."
Yuki swiveled her orange, blade-like eyes. "You haven't forgotten Mother Maryam's words, have you?" she noted. "The second Soul Ruler despises
her more intensely than the rest."
Noah's grin stretched broader.
"That's precisely the reason I want to converse," he continued. "I must uncover why he harbors such hatred for my mother."
The Prince advanced a pace, boldly stepping into the Soul Ruler's
domain.
"Pardon my uninvited entry." He laughed casually.
Trailing him, Yuki and Elira proceeded with a nod and a grin on their
faces.
Noah, Yuki, and Elira weren't alone in this. Maryam and Selene stood united, now positioned at the fourth ruler's dominion, Love That Was Unloved.
Their circumstances brimmed with oddity. As soon as Maryam and Selene arrived, the Dominion—fashioned like a massive pulsing heart—parted to welcome them, accompanied by the Soul Ruler's voice.
"Oh! Maryam, my lovely Maryam!" she exclaimed. "Have you come to visit me? Oh, enter! Please enter! But wait, did you style your hair differently? SO
STUNNING!!"
She squealed with fan-like enthusiasm.
"You've brought a companion?! Oh, what a gorgeous one! Yes! Yes! Allow her
inside!"
Selene's expression warped oddly at this, casting Maryam a puzzled
look.
The Paragon of Authority lifted her shoulders. "I warned you she adores me." "Are we discussing the same sort of adoration?" Selene queried.
"I'd rather not delve into that." Maryam muttered. "The key is,
we can fulfill our mission with minimal struggle if we handle it cleverly."
"How exactly?"
"Isn't it clear, Selene dear?" Maryam smirked, then stepped forward. "The perks of beauty."
Selene rolled her eyes.
"Naturally."
In the Waking Universe, deep within Hell's core, Asaemon faced a diminutive creature.
The creature resembled a hound, its frame forged from searing red flames hotter than a stellar heart.
It lounged idly on the floor, its red gaze locked on Asaemon's, its tail wagging gently and tapping the surface
beneath.
Asaemon endured an intense weight from the creature's stare.
Still, he paid it little mind.
In typical scenarios, confronting Hell would stir caution in him, but those days were gone.
He had lost his little brother. Now, his elder sister too was taken.
At that juncture, only burning rage sustained Asaemon, laced with the venom of revenge corrupting his essence.
Hell's words or judgments held no sway anymore. His scheme was fixed and unyielding. Accepted or rejected by Hell, he would press on.
Even in solitude.
Thus, with steely gaze, he parted his lips and uttered,
"I-!"
"I admire your essence." Hell interrupted him abruptly. For a beat, Asaemon stood bewildered, struggling to process the statement.
Hell pressed onward without pause.
"Your spirit, your thoughts, your entire form overflow with such dark emotions that it's remarkable, Asaemon. Now I see why Asmodeus claimed you rival him as a demon."
"You've restrained your true self for ages. But with your kin vanished, the barriers falter. Your authentic side will soon break free."
Asaemon's gaze turned so vacant that Hell quivered faintly. Still, it bared a broader smile.
This confirmed what they had long suspected. Why Asmodeus, a Progenitor, permitted Asaemon such freedoms in Hell, unchecked by any penalty.
It yawned its maw and unleashed a barking chuckle. "Demon, Asaemon. You were born to be a demon. Yet I know you'll resist it. So listen closely, Asaemon. Here's the deal, Asaemon! Here's the deal!"
Its tone brimmed with thrill.
"The Gold Eagle means nothing to me. That fool will become my feast in due time. But not now. You'd be foolish to think you could defeat him, even with my support, in your present condition. Oh, Asaemon, have you gone mad? Gold Eagle isn't yours. No! Not for one who denies his own nature."
"It changes nothing. I'll grant you partial dominion over Hell, over me, for just one stipulation!"
"You're squandering my patience." Asaemon replied icily. "State your terms."
Hell chuckled.
"Forge a Hell Contract with me!" It guffawed louder. "Your soul, Asaemon! Offer your soul, and I'll bestow all my power.
That means shared rule over Hell! You'll match Asmodeus in command and influence. Now, confess to me..."
Hell quieted, its murmur then sending tremors through all of Hell
in concealed malicious joy,
"...are you prepared to avenge your illusory kin, oh Asaemon, Second
Child of Sin?"
