Harem Stealer: Reborn with the God-Tier Sharing System Chapter 405: Peaceful Chaos
Chapter 405 – Peaceful Chaos
Now, that was interesting, Lorna briefly thought, her foxy eyes settling on Fated, Destiny and Caus standing below her.
They were inside her room, the surrounding space wavering, wobbling, then folding upon itself like a crushed sheet of paper.
In one minute they were standing in a silver sandy desert with nothing in sight, the next they were swimming in a Black Sea accompanied by grotesque sea beasts, and the next they were back in the room, but with the ground squirming like worms trapped in muddy water.
The three siblings watched with obvious interest. The more they observed, the more they began to grasp the abnormal affinity for illusion and reality-altering Foxy possessed.
If they were not at their level of power, they would certainly believe that all they were seeing was true.
Besides, they could feel that this was just their new sister not suppressing her power, letting her own aura alter reality.
Caus was amazed, "Big sister! Big sister so cool!" He chirped while clapping his hands repeatedly, then immediately stopped and hid behind Fated when Foxy’s gaze settled on him.
"D-Don’t look at me, big sister! But Caus thinks big sister powerful! Scary too!"
Fated smiled with her typical grin, "Heheh, so smiling father was not wrong. But you still have a long way to go to match us, illusion woman!" She pointed rudely her silver sharp nail at Foxy floating high in the sky of her room, "So don’t get cocky!"
"Sweet Sister. Strong sister!" Destiny said, raising a thumbs-up at Foxy with a soft smile, "Big sister is cool."
Foxy watched each of them with amusement slithering inside her eyes. She never thought for one second that a day would come when she would have Origins as siblings.
It was funny to her, but most importantly it was perfect for her. Her brother had just gone away, leaving her here alone.
She didn’t want to admit it, but she missed him dearly, and missed even more the pranks she used to pull on him every single day.
It was always funny to watch Premier trying to be serious only to rage in anger and frustration at her pranks.
Foxy remembered how every time he caught her, he never managed to do more than tie her to a tree with his power and walk away. A power that would free her after only an hour.
He was always so indulgent with her.
Thinking back to her brother, Lorna unconsciously smiled, and was tempted to use the mark she had put on him, but she shook her head immediately.
’Not yet.’ She thought, ’he or anyone besides him could sense it if I do, and I might cause trouble for him. Let’s wait.’
She would wait, and in the meantime she would bond with her new siblings. Just like her father wanted her to.
But...
’I will choose the way we bond.’ She thought with a grin before clapping her hands, gathering the attention of her siblings,
"Maybe father has already told you, but I will still introduce myself." She said, then slowly descended from the sky and began to walk toward them.
The power of illusion increased tenfold with each of her steps.
"I am Lorna Foxy Vaelgrim, first daughter of Noah Vaelgrim and his second child." She whispered, then stopped suddenly with a loud echo.
The floor wavered, then glowed an intense translucent light.
Instantly, the world around them disappeared, and instead came billions of pocket dimensions inside a white expanse, each of them showing a different scenario unfolding.
Fated’s eyes widened, "This is..."
"Yes," Lorna’s voice echoed as she appeared above the space on a transparent throne, "I am the Elysiari of Dream and Illusion. And these are the dreams of all people in Laeh, sleeping peacefully. Well, not everyone."
Her siblings were surprised by the scale of her power. Illusion and dream? And they could see all these dreams were feeding her, making her more powerful.
Seeing their faces, Foxy smiled, "What about we do something interesting, dear siblings?" She said.
"Interesting? Caus wants to know!" Caus chirped.
"What?" Fated asked, while Destiny observed the surroundings with her ever-constant smile.
"Ah, nothing much, just an idea of mine." She smirked, "Why don’t we create our own dream realm, different from the one of the universe, where the folks of our world would wake up in one same big dream world and do some kind of competitions with rewards to gain."
"What kind of rewards?" Destiny inquired.
Foxy grinned,
"What else? An increase in luck, or a better destiny, or even receiving a higher fate. In the future maybe something more, who knows."
The siblings’ eyes widened.
"What do you think of it, siblings? Let’s create something to make our people stronger and more unique, all with rules, of course."
They were silent for a moment, before all of them looked at the small dream manifestations of these folks, their lips curling upward,
"Tell me the competitions, big sister!" Fated said, suddenly enthusiastic.
Foxy smiled even further and immediately began explaining her idea.
Soon, the most unfortunate folks of Laeh would be called into their dream world, where death would cause damage to your soul but the rewards would be worth it.
And she could feel it, if she ever succeeded in creating this, Laeh would certainly advance in stage and she would gain massive boosts in power and status.
’Just wait, brother. I won’t accept you being stronger than me!’
Just like that, Foxy took one step ahead toward her destiny.
And Destiny herself watched her with unreadable eyes,
’Sweet father. You are so unfair.’ She thought, not believing one could give such a heavy but glorious destiny to his own daughter.
If Lorna failed in her path, she would completely shatter. And that harder than anything.
But now that Destiny was here...
’Sweet sister. No failing!’
She would make sure to support her sister.
"Lorna, Fated, Destiny, Caus, let’s begin!!!" Lorna bellowed, fist raising into the sky dramatically.
"YES!!!"
...
’You allow her?’ Laeh asked inside Noah’s head, explaining to him the idea of his eldest daughter.
Noah smiled faintly, ’Let her. I am curious about what she could do. Once she succeeds, I can allow her to create the dream realm of my budding universe.’
’You do not think she would fail?’ Laeh inquired again, laughter dancing inside her tone.
’Fail?’ Noah echoed, ’You do not believe your own niece would fail, do you?’
Laeh laughed, ’Of course not,’ and disappeared from his mind, agreeing with her brother. After all, none of them were made to fail.
Back in her space, Laeh shook her head and continued swimming, relaxing peacefully while she still could.
Noah was still inside his room, his wives surrounding him on all sides, discussing idly with each other.
His head was resting on Anya and Zara’s laps, the two of them caressing his hair.
Emmie, Providence and Selene were discussing clothes and the trends that existed back on Earth, but soon their talk drifted into their preferred positions in sex.
Ester was showing pictures of the Shadow Realm to Shadeva, asking if there was anything she wanted to remain the same.
Appolonia was with Yuki, the two of them bickering endlessly. Yuki was provoking Appolonia, and the latter used her knife-like tongue to counterattack everything she said.
In the end, Yuki called Elira for help, for like Appolonia, she always had the perfect comeback to anything one could say.
Appolonia finally found her match.
Lilith and Dominique were licking the tips of Noah’s fingers playfully, while Neko and Lea were fighting at the side, on the floor, because one had decided to invade the territory of the other.
Alice, Christelle and Emily were watching, fueling the fight by betting on who would win.
"You can do it Neko! I believe in you!" Alice shouted, clenching her fist tightly in support.
"Lea, I bet on you! Don’t make me lose my secret skill to make Noah cum faster!" Christelle begged, while Emmy laughed with tears.
Sophie was resting her head on Noah’s chest, a peaceful smile on her lips, with Justicia playing with Lucie at the left side of Noah, wondering what a crow like her would eat.
The room was chaotic but ordered in a strange, harmonious way. Each one was arguing, fighting, teasing, but all of it woven in perfect affection.
Virgo watched this scene with love shimmering in her eyes, never once believing she would one day be part of this kind of family. Sari and Noelle were at her left and right, smiling.
"You are so reserved, Virgo." Noelle said, "Why are you standing here? Shy, maybe?"
Virgo smiled and shook her head, "Not at all." She said softly, "I just love to observe them. It makes me aware of the blessings I have been granted...to be in this loving space."
Her smile turned melancholic, "After all, I know how it feels to have none to call a family. But many to call enemies."
"Then we are the same." Noelle said, wrapping her arm around Virgo’s shoulders. "I was originally a Void Beast. We are a species born from the void itself. No family, no nothing. And if you ever dare go to another void beast to seek that concept, you will be killed instantly. For eating another void beast makes you stronger."
They listened silently.
"So yes, Virgo, I can understand your view. And I can also understand that we have what few in the whole universe could claim to possess."
She looked at her and smiled openly,
"We have a united family with a loving husband and abnormal children. I don’t know about you, but this is enough for me. And I would do everything to protect this family."
Sari nodded, "Everything." She echoed.
"And that means protecting you too, as you are now Virginia Ti Ranneth Vaelgrim." Noelle added with a grin.
Virgo began to blush, though none could tell, "Am I really a Vaelgrim? I do not have the Elysiari bloodline yet."
"Ah, you are right, darling. Let’s change that, shall we?" Noah suddenly said, before slowly getting up, looking at Virgo with a smile.
"Come, let me see the wisp of power of a Pillar. And let’s make you an Elysiari."
Virgo’s heart skipped a dangerous beat, embarrassed at becoming the center of attention all of a sudden.
"Oh..! No—! I mean yes! Yes!" She stumbled on her words.
The wives smiled at how cute she was, while Virgo herself wanted to disappear from existence entirely.
’Urghh...I want to die...’
