Meanwhile, on a stretch of sand tucked behind a thicket of trees, Yang Wei had collapsed into a pit she had dug. Covered in sweat and with her hair in a disheveled mess, she stared blankly ahead like a salted fish that had surrendered all hope.

She cast a weary glance at her husband, who was also slumped on the ground. "I can't do this anymore. I'm exhausted. If I dig one more hole, I'm going to have a breakdown!"

Gasping for air, Hai Li forced himself to grip the shovel, thrusting it into the sand a few more times in desperation.

Yet, the beach remained empty of any treasure.

"Since you're such experts at harvesting the sea, you must have caught a massive haul today, right?"

Ye Feng simply smiled, offering no verbal reply.
