Moli inquired about how Broy discovered the hidden alchemy puppet array, prompting Broy to seek Leo Ray's permission before explaining that he obtained information from Dwarf Elves in Observation City about a similar warehouse, which he successfully located and unlocked here. Amazed by the parallel similarities, Moli marveled at the possibility of parallel worlds, while Leo Ray reflected on the implications and praised Broy's ingenuity as the puppets were activated, revealing their advanced intelligence. Suddenly, Serena urged Leo Ray to the northwest bell tower ruins, where she and Stella reported discovering highly unusual traces amid the debris.

“Hurry, lead me over to check it out.”

Leo Ray gave a nod to the pair and advanced.

Guided by the twin sisters, Leo Ray quickly reached a depressed spot.

Ahead in the depression roughly half a meter in depth, numerous shattered bricks and stones lay strewn about, while at the heart of the depression, strange corrosive traces were plentifully dispersed.

The stones in that spot had fully liquefied, resembling something drenched in liquid, but without any trace of wetness present.

Furthermore, these corroded depressions were connected rather than separate, extending over the whole region and counting in the hundreds.

“Are these the remnants after ‘Corrosion’ gets eliminated?”

Moli crouched down for a brief inspection before exclaiming.

Leo Ray cast a contemplative look at it and affirmed with a nod.

Moli had it correct; once destroyed, ‘Corrosion’ transformed into a puddle of rancid pus that retained strong corrosive properties. That pus would rapidly vaporize entirely, resulting in such a depression.

Having gone through the intense conflicts in Observation City, the team had become well-acquainted with these traces.

“There are clear mana remnants overhead too, indicating these ‘Corrosion’ traces were removed not long ago.”

Moli rose to her feet, clapped Serena and Stella on the backs, and declared, “Matching sisters, great job—now we can head back and rest soundly!”

“However, we didn’t cause this; the traces were present when we got here.”

Serena denied it with a shake of her head and turned to Leo Ray, “Lord, we’ve questioned our nearby kin, and none of them engaged ‘Corrosion’ in this place.”

“If not you, and not others, I stayed with the Human Clan youth the entire time without visiting this spot. So who precisely eliminated this minor batch of ‘Corrosion’?”

Moli opened her starry eyes wide, displaying a puzzled expression, “Based on the persisting mana remnants, these ‘Corrosion’ were dealt with under half an hour prior!”

With those words, Moli’s gaze lit up, and she burst out, “Ah, I understand. Was there a spatial overlap glitch that brought the old City Lord over? Or maybe it exchanged some terrain from there with here?”

“Unlikely—recall it was the Deity who sent us back.”

Leo Ray halted for a second, rejecting Moli’s notion.

The power to produce countless [Divine Stone] and Gate of Truth in an instant, even to bring down billions of Lords and modify the pace of time flow, left its all-encompassing abilities beyond doubt.

“Then what’s really happening? Might there be another presence here?”

Moli cocked her head, her features filled with perplexity.

“We can’t dismiss that chance—stay alert and scour the area carefully; additional hints might turn up.”

To be safe, Leo Ray first ordered the dispersed powerhouses to assemble, then directed.

Sure enough, after a brief search by the group, they promptly discovered a newly etched enigmatic emblem on a stone slab close to the depression.

The emblem showed a massive eye covered in tentacles, clearly representing ‘Corrosion,’ and over the ‘Corrosion’ design loomed a bold cross that divided the ‘Corrosion’ into fragments.

From the lingering mana remnants, this emblem had obviously been inscribed here lately, pristine and not some artifact from bygone eras.

“This design looks familiar—I’ve encountered it somewhere.”

Moli bent in nearer, craning her neck to study it closely for moments, then her eyes sparkled, “Yes! It’s the insignia of the Erosion Eraser!”

“Erosion Eraser?”

Hearing this unfamiliar phrase, Leo Ray first directed the powerhouses to secure the perimeter, then inquired, “What exactly is an Erosion Eraser?”

“Hehe, this refers to a secretive group recognized solely by the top-tier first-class powers among the Ten Thousand Clans.”

Moli placed her hands on her hips, tilted her chin up, and explained to Leo Ray, “Recall how I told you our Forest Elves have battled ‘Corrosion’ endlessly? It was early on that we learned of the Erosion Eraser’s presence.”

“By eavesdropping on those elders… er, through my studies in Elf History Books, the Erosion Eraser, true to its name, forms a hidden society dedicated to wiping out ‘Corrosion’.”

Moli wagged her head, acting like an instructor, and went on, “As per the Elf History Books, this group clashed repeatedly with ‘Corrosion’ in our lands without seeking our approval, destroying vast numbers of ‘Corrosion’.”

“Good heavens, yet another enigmatic group?”

Leo Ray’s thoughts instantly recalled the Black Abyss Brotherhood, causing him to twitch his mouth involuntarily as past disagreeable events resurfaced.

Soon, Leo Ray’s furrowed brow relaxed, and he lifted his brows, “At least this time, the secretive group aligns with our aims—in a way, they might count as partners, no?”

“Partners? Human Clan youth, were you paying attention to my words!”

Moli clawed at her hair, on the verge of losing it, and stressed, “I just stated they trespassed into our Forest Elves’ domain without consent and then purged ‘Corrosion’! Without consent! It’s outright defying our sovereignty!”

“Since our goals match and they’re helping clear threats to shield nearby settlements from harm, they’re not foes by default, right? Your words reveal such animosity toward them.”

Observing Moli’s agitated state, Leo Ray offered a wry smile.

“That’s your view—our Forest Elves can handle any abrupt ‘Corrosion’ surge independently without outside help!”

Moli lifted her petite face once more and added, “Besides, do you believe those Erosion Erasers act out of kindness? They pursue the annihilation of ‘Corrosion’ by any means necessary!”

“From my knowledge, ever since the Blank Era, they’ve waylaid our powerhouses multiple times and even razed a few of our villages to contain magical ley line bursts!”

Moli became more incensed, shouting furiously, “You were fortunate this happened in this barren underground ruin. Had it been in a populated zone, imagine the destruction they’d cause!”

Hearing Moli out, the others present traded confused looks.

If they’re indeed so brazen, they sound like major headaches.

“Yet since the Blank Era, no Human Clan records mention any side effects from Erosion Erasers’ actions.”

The Grey Elder softly stroked his chin, bemused, “More accurately, the Human Clan has no entries whatsoever on Erosion Erasers.”

Following the Grey Elder’s remark, Broy, Crisis, Fanny, and the other leaders nodded, evidently ignorant of such topics.

“That’s precisely why it’s limited to first-class powers, and why they haven’t surfaced in other places—or maybe they have but stayed hidden, I can’t say.”

Moli gave a shrug in reply, “In any case, as far as I know, not just our Forest Elves, but most other top first-class forces are aware of the Erosion Erasers, have all battled them intensely, and naturally, our Forest Elves have never welcomed them warmly.”

“In that light, what’s the actual nature of these Erosion Erasers?”

Learning this hidden group could wage fierce wars against the elite first-class powers of the Ten Thousand Clans, Leo Ray’s interest deepened further, prompting his question.

“Well…”

Faced with the question, Moli faltered and hesitated a bit.
