In front of them, numerous City Guard Soldiers lay fallen from the enemy’s wild assaults, some with weapons at their necks, obviously on the verge of defeat. Yet this unexpected turn yanked every City Guard Soldier away from the edge of doom!

Additionally, thick clusters of “Corrosions” burst apart beneath the golden dome, transforming into pools of dark sludge that oozed and seeped into the gaps of the stone-paved streets in the districts.

Within these “Corrosions” were several that had developed large cocoons of various hues, trapping victims inside for infestation; now they ruptured, letting those not yet fully parasitized escape from the sludge, their breaths still weakly heaving, obviously rescued from the jaws of death.

Moli had no time for anything else, seizing her Magic Wand with force and swinging it hard, which tore open a Spatial Rift resembling a colossal void mouth that quickly expanded, drawing in every arrow and Magic strike into the Void Space.

Yet, given the intensity of the foes’ barrage hammering the Spatial Rift’s boundary, though Moli managed to intercept it, she couldn’t avoid coughing up blood, which splashed vivid red across the front of her pink hooded cape, obviously enduring a harsh Magic rebound.

It wasn’t unexpected; blocking strikes from five formidable adversaries alone, even at her best, Moli wouldn’t risk it, especially now with her Mana nearly exhausted?

While Moli concentrated on repelling the far-off Parasites’ onslaughts, five close-range Parasites barreled at Leo Ray with unstoppable momentum.

Leo Ray displayed no trace of dread as he shielded the radiant Array Eye at his back.

“Brat, now’s the moment for you to get ripped apart with that junk Array Eye!”

The foremost Fishman Parasite’s gore-covered halberd flashed with icy gleam, as the other four Parasites trailed right behind, all lunging at Leo Ray together.
